    I like the way how you present the products. Your videos are not too short and not too long. Keep going!
    Direct Action is one of my favorite brand. In my opinion, DA uniform (Vanguard) is much comfortable as for example UF Pro. Bags (like Dust and Halifax) and PC are light and durable.

      Thanks, we'll keep going! And yeah, Direct Action really is extraordinary brand. We are actually quite mind-blown by their products ever since we layed our hands on them. We haven't been able to look into their uniform and bags however. | Viper

    I found this PC because it’s one of the few to come in Penncott camo patterns which is what I have. It looks like legitimately one of the best out there.

      Thanks for taking the time to comment that, much appreciated. We're currently working on creating more footage of us using the products we talk about by filming on shooting ranges to further improve future videos. Do you think that would add value to the videos?

    I am quite blown away to see you guys doing a review on my dream plate carrier, which I happen to actually use, over the Crye Precision JPC 2.0, since I wanted something that is a bit more sleek, but has an advanced type of MOLLE webbing that I would rely on, followed by adjustability and comfort, but still maintaining their durability.
    For some reason, I do always dig the Mk. I’s design more, but I always find it more helpful where I can customize it according to my needs. Unfortunately, since I can’t afford it, and the laws here in Philippines are pretty strict according to the civilians being discouraged from wearing any camouflage-based clothing, I think I would definitely get the Coyote Brown at its best extent.
    Oh, not to forget, before I do start doing other things where do you guys get your replica ballistic plates, and from what brand? Thanks!
    Don’t stop making videos like these, since you guys are quite helpful to be looking at, according to gear reviews, and just like Garand Thumb, you guys look cool as you know your way through via training.
    Good evening, and mabuhay from the Philippines!

    • @ReconBrothers
      @ReconBrothers  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks for your comment. Really hope you can acquire the Spitfire some day, since it's a real beauty. Coyote Brown is definitely a good color choice because it can be worn over practically anything.
      We now use the newly released training plates from Templar's Gear which very closely replicate NIJ3 SA SAPI/ESAPI ballistic plates in weight (1,5 kg/plate), shape, curvature & thickness. We also sell them through: shop.reconbrothers.com/product/templars-gear-training-plate-set-3-kg/ 😉 | Viper

      Let’s continue playing around until we take down some Metal Gear!

      In our opinion it does for almost all their products. From what we know that's out there in the market, Direct Action products have that "slight extra", if you know what we mean. But it all depends on what you're personally looking for and what fits your budget. FYI, the cutaway system is not that expensive actually: shop.reconbrothers.com/product/direct-action-spitfire-cutaway-system-custom/ | Viper

      @@ReconBrothers Please don't take this the wrong way, but how do i know this is true? I mean, i'm about to spend €‎350 on gear and the last thing i want is to have to wait 3 months for it to be made and then find out i hate how it looks?

    • @ReconBrothers
      @ReconBrothers  Před rokem

      @@ORO_Psyclone Because I personally have my belt and plate carrier in their new Ranger Green color while my brother has the old one (which is the one you saw in this video). There's also no need to weigh so much on the tint of a color, it's not for a fashion show and will get dirty when using it anyway.
      As for the lead times, it's currently the fastest way to get the products unless some shop has it in stock somewhere but that's highly unlikely nowadays. We have MC and RG stock in production right now, but this will still take time before it arrives.

    Personally I find DA expensive without any real reason. I have been using the MBC Phantom (ROC version) for a year now and I am so happy I didn't throw double the money on DA shit. MBC has amazingly tough fabric and great construction quality as well (stiching quality, thick threads, velcro quality). The pads are super slim and crap as well they will not offer any serious ventilation. The maritime QR release system is great, though I would prefer it made strictly by webbing and not plastic parts.

    • @ReconBrothers
      @ReconBrothers  Před 2 lety +4

      Don't call things "shit" if you've never used them or simply because they cost more. There are reasons why DA has their price tags and we know their products are used by the best of the best in the hardest conditions possible. But if you're happy with your stuff then all the better for you.
