I serve in the army of Ukraine, now we are engaged in heavy battles with the Russians, and in the standard scheme I have 7 magazines for the AK-47. Yes, unfortunately the AK-47, and there are still many of them in individual special units. Every day I fire about 700 rounds of ammunition at these savages. Ukrainian land is littered with Russian corpses here.
This made me realize my basic training instructor must have been a JTF2 assaulter even though he never directly said it... he always made us load out with 3 magazines of 27 rounds even though the other infanteers who were section commanders made their guys load out with 6 mags of 30. He also mentioned being part of the 2004 Haiti evacuation and somehow I don't exactly think was was part of his time in the RCR...
We loaded our mags with 28 rounds in the early 90s in Pet before there was a JTF 2. 4 mags and one on the gun. The plastic mags we were issued were probably the reason - nothing like opening your 82 pattern magazine pouch and having all of your ammo pop out like a snake-in-a-can practical joke because the retaining lips broke off your magazine the first time that you hit the ground during an AtoC!

+Direct Action Combat Performance Inc Haha, when you pronounce certain words it makes me think of Trailer Park Boys. Can you tell us again what the video was aboot? Just kidding with you, bro. I just have to ask, 1). What pistol are you running ( make, model, and caliber ), and 2). You don't typically operate with that few extra mags do you? I've said this before but, you can burn more ammo than that breaking contact with a superior force. I carry meds heavy, ammo heavy, so maybe it's me carrying a ton of it and not you carrying too little? IDK. Oh, before I forget, sometimes I find it handy to carry a second mag-dump pouch ( in a different color on the opposite side of my belt, ofc ) for extra storage if I feel I need it. Figured you might find it useful as well, or am I just weird?

Wait, is 4 magazines really enough? I did reconnaissance during my time in my country's military and we always carry 7 mags minimum
True, but 4 mags is enough for swat officers, security etc,
We also here in Saudi Arabia is issued 7 mags 210 rounds minimum
ITS A TURN-A-KEY!
I'm came for the load oats.
How much does all that weigh? 30 pounds?
More like 45+.
🔥🔥🔥
name of the ring dagger you have there..beautiful..
It’s from half face blades lmao good luck getting one without snapping your bank account.
Lol All these armchair operators are so upset about the 3 mags and the radios on the back.
Do what works for you, everyone is different
What blade is that?
Half face blades dagger?
David Mathews yes
+Direct Action Combat Performance Inc Haha, when you pronounce certain words it makes me think of Trailer Park Boys. Can you tell us again what the video was aboot? Just kidding with you, bro. A fine video and at least your gear matches. Whatever load I kit up with, it's a hodge-podge of various camo designs and solid colors. I will be wearing a green pistol belt with my black Glock 21 in a multi cam holster with coyote tan, green, and black pistol mag pouches, a green mag-dump pouch, a tan leather sheath and handle for my KA-BAR, a black ( grip, sheath, and blade) Kershaw Camp 10, a tan MFAK trauma kit, and a large, green meds pouch with a green AK double mags pouch next to a tan one on a Russian Vest Alpha chest rig in the very cool digital flora camo with built in mag pouches behind the MOLLE ( to which, on one of the side utility pouches, I have MOLLEd an ACU Digital 200 round SAW gunner pouch to haul mags in ) mags ranging from black, to orange, to camo mags for my AKM with it's dark, cherry wood looking furniture on a green sling while wearing Urban camo BDUs, and toting my gear in a DPM Dutch ARWY Sting, you get the idea.
Everyone is different. Once the mission-specific kit and equipment was taken care of, I tried to carry as little as possible to remain mobile and agile. Thanks. Hae a great day.
0:34 aboot
ahahhaha
He said about NOT aboot you goof
@@lyndonlucier791 he has a stereotypical Canadian accent, u can clearly hear him say aboot lmao
You must be watching a different video...i didnt hear aboot.
Also you guys do realize Canada has MANY accents right?? Our country is bigger yet you think you're the only ones who have many accents...does every american sound like he's from boston or 'bama?
@@superdrew8564 that’s why I said stereotypical accent buddy.
Does anybody have any recommendations to a blade similiar to what hes running here?
Look nice i wish to buy..may i know the price
All quality gear is expensive. Take your time and choose what feels good for you and what your requirements are. Avoid buying stuff because it looks cool... buy stuff that will help you.
What’s a good field radio that someone would recommend?
baofeng isn’t too bad
What knife is he running on his carrier also thank you for your service
I 2nd that. Almost looks like a böker...
Does anybody know what model knife he has on? Been searching with no luck.
What style of knife is that, please someone tell me?!
How cai I get this body armour? I want it.
Tyr Tactical. Great company. Durable kit! 100% endorse their kit. Thanks for the questions.
Wish he would have put it all on
just show and tell, canadians will never have access to this kind of gear under the dictatorship we are currently under, and probably not even after the dictatorship is lifted
Dont like hex mags i had misfeads with that mag only
Same here. Everyone was pushing those for a while on CZcams. My rifle only ever had issues when I was using a hex mag. G.I., various Magpul, Lancer, MFT, and one other brand I can't remember were all solid.
What knife is that?
when he said dump pouch i thought he meant to poop in it, LOL
