Plug the earbuds into the xbox trust. It worked for me. Maybe a slight electric shock and an xbox that doesn't worm anymore, but at least it's connected🤷🏿‍♂️

so the easiest way to do it is get a tv that has bluetooth connection availability. I know the majority of TV's we have don't have it but new ones should have it and it makes it way easier to play games using bluetooth headphones. Sorry if this doesn't help but it is what it is. I'm currently using my Rayban Meta glasses whenever i play on my xbox and i love every bit of it.

i'd say no, this method is just for solo play. since the audio the headphones is actually coming from the TV and NOT the xbox so if you try speaking through the mic the audio is probably getting filtered out by the TV and not ever reaching the xbox. But if you goal is to do both i think there are already 3rd party companies making bluetooth headphones that specifically connect to xbox@@kyysl
