I went into this game for the "plot" but stayed for the actual plot. Got hooked right after the first couple chapters because of Marian

I loved when Syuren got roundhouse kicked, but it hits you with moments like Mariah.
Liking the dark setting, the messages and scenes with the characters. Syuren deserved every bit of that kick hah.

@@Lethargy514 well, the 'public' in the setting sees them as tools and something to be warry off so some have been adjusted to some parts of society... entertainment and weapons. So yeah you get this nuanced perspective of the commander with booty up their face.

@@Hunter-jo8ud Literally top grossing Gacha game on android since it came out. It having a story let alone a decent one is already more than 99% of gacha games. But every facet of the game in general seems to have a bit more effort than other gacha titles. It put the money in to make the game good enough to appeal to more than gacha addicts while also making it much easier to enjoy it even if you don't spend a single cent compared to other gacha titles. The "wall" in this game takes a lot longer to get to and is generally much easier to pass as a F2P player than other games of the genre.

@@nightfears3005 it's so generous in its Gacha that a 10 pull is literally all you need a lot of the time. But even if you don't get it on the first 10 pull the game is so generous on ways to give you more pulls. I never spend a dime on the game but I still have all the characters I want. It's earning a lot of money because the characters are definitely interesting enough and it's not just ass bounces (I've been baited by the ass bounce but stayed cuz of the amazing story). The main reason you need to put money on the game is for the PvP which is basically P2W and if you want faster progression in the story. Even I am currently on the latest part of the story without spending a single amount into the game. Though I'm not at the top of the leaderboards for PVP I'm still hovering around Top 60 in a P2W mode without spending.
They are definitely not stinging on the rates. It's a million times better than Genshin, HSR or even the recent released Wuthering Waves.

@@partycity1113 I was one of those people. Only played because my friend hounded me to. But… While fanservice is very abundant. The story really is good. Only issue is that the more chapters you go through, the higher the combat power you need. And if you’re F2P… I can honestly be a drag that can take up to a week to 2 or maybe more depending how frequently you play.
Honestly asides from fanservice, the main story and events are carrying the game, so there’s no need to download it. Since you can just watch the story cutscenes from whales who posted them a while ago. I assure you it’s really good.

Played it. The story is actually pretty interesting. Despite the bugs and questionable game mechanics, I can see myself playing this for a very long time

The Story and voice acting are truly Stellar. And all the nikke have surprisingly deep backgrounds and personalitys. Booba and cheeks are just a Bonus on top. Also the OST absolutely SLAPS

@@KeLamity_Ch That one was REALLY good, Diesel is a really interesting character to me because she almost 1-1 reminds me of one of my best friends. She has that same personality as Diesel, and generally has dilemmas that are similar as well, so... yeah, they really hit that one home for sure.
I've played dozens of gachas and Nikke is genuinely one of three that's got me invested in its story
Edit: Yes there are lots of similar stories out there but in terms of how well executed they typically are, Nikke is high up there. Characters have personality that is consistent and not completely generic. Game design makes you feel like you're actually in battle with your units and not just controlling some chibis from a bird's eye view. Story is segmented in a way that forces you to read the story which gives you time to actually read it for once instead of just skipping immediately like in other games. You can agree or disagree but this is just my opinion.

The (actuall) plot really does have me intrigued to know what happens next. Maybe because I also really liked 86, and this game's story and worldbuilding are giving me major 86 vibes even as early as the 3rd chapter. Also I thought the EN voice acting actually wasn't bad, and the writing and translation seems to have been done surprisingly well, at least compared to other gacha games I've played.

Indeed, i like how as you meet the girls, you get a lot of worldbuilding, and how i found hilarius that how hard things are and yet they big three dont have a problem to sedn tons of Nikkes to the surface to die, or how they pay pennis to the comanders and send them with very basi training, not to mention that even when ark looks a nice place, loot of people feel nostalgick for the surface, but of course people like Asom see the game very superficial, and there are a lot of gatchas with nice storys i am playing these and soul tide and having nice time, and soul tide puzzles would give asmon quite a time, but of course he only see these, i mean i dont blame him

I absolutely love this game. The soundtrack is an absolute banger and the story over the last year is stellar. I came for the fan service and stayed for the story/music. Its basically nier automata mobile edition.
It's nowhere close to being as emotional, depressing or philosophical as NieR:Automata.
The closest you can get to NieR:Automata on mobile is the NieR reINcarnation mobile game and the SINoALICE mobile game. Both belonging to yoko taro as well.

@@danielsurvivor1372 If youre looking for a gatcha game that doesnt push microtransactions, youre wasting your time. That said, nikke gives you paid gems daily and for nearly everything you do. Its very easy to get much of the content without ever spending a dime.

That said, you could always do what I do: Either keep your phone locked and in your pocket during work so you don't chance someone seeing something you don't want them seeing or if you're gonna play a mobile game at work, find something that's *extremely* SFW (i.e. a good third of the characters in one of the games I primarily play are dressed in military/law enforcement type uniforms due to the nature of their backgrounds as being former law enforcement now in a private military. Very generally within the boundaries of "your co-worker can see it because you didn't hide what game you were playing well enough and you're probably fine" on the basis of the game being referenced being a strategy game and having "bird's eye" view most of the time).

This is an amazing game to be fair. Amazing sound track and story, and they give their players so much. They do so much to make this an amazing game, and listen to the players. The anniversary was a million times better than genshin, and they even buffed the main anniversary release nikke when the community said she was too weak. 10/10 will continue to suppprt

Seriously though after 1 year the amount of quality this game offers is amazing in terms of writing, story and soundtrack. There are so many systems that support f2p play and progress it's actually wild.
And gameplay actually can turn to hardcore if you are min/maxing your timing and results.
Asmon might be the most bitchy person on this platform. Just started recently and I’ve been having a blast. Once you get into the gameplay, the fan service isn’t even that bad because you aren’t even looking at it. As a game developer myself when people complain about a game it pisses me off, because they have no idea how much effort goes into making that.

This kind of aged poorly honestly. The game really is fairly well made, has a decent story that surprises you since most people go in thinking it's solely a booba game, when in reality it's that AND more. Sure, it may have had a rough launch, but it's a lot more stable now, with generous pull rates, fairly common events and newly added characters, and devs that do care about their community.
This video was the perfect example of really just judging a book by its cover and only listening to someone else's opinion. But oh well. Some people just can't be helped with that mindset
None of that means it's good or worthy of praise. It's successful because whales (who account for 95% gacha revenue) compulsively spend for power, items, and collections in games.

until I tried to play it, I was expecting to play it for one week then uninstall it.

It is so good and well written, also the game actually requires strategy if you battle against stronger enemy, the soundtrack is great, f2p friendly.

10/10 you can only understand this once you play for 20 minutes and the game hits you with the feels
Almost 2 years later and this video aged liked milk, Nikke is one of the top gatcha games in the industry with amazing story, characters, music, gameplay, etc. This is why you play a game first before you have an opinion on it :)
Even though the character design is questionable, i still have to admit the gameplay is just my favourite kind of gameplay which is rail shooters (its technically not but very similliar)
If you look past the Boobs and Butts stuff, its a pretty solid game, interesting plot which was executed greatly, and it doesnt shove dialogues upon dialogues on you every stage, instead pacing it between 3-4 encounters, giving you time to enjoy the game.
The gameplay is also very well done, reminiscing of old Arcade shooters (bonus nostalgia points), the gameplay reach it peak when you're up against big bad bosses in extra stages, where you have to manually play and have to watch out for the boss' mechanic, like for example theres this living train boss who have a crap load of guns on it's back and you have to manually aim at them (shooting the body still deal damage, but destroying the turrets cut off it's damage source), and sometimes it will shoot out rockets that you have to shoot down before it hit your squad.
there's quite a lot more to the game but ill leave it to you to play it yourself.
Overall, great game, 8/10 (for a gacha game) (id rate it higher if it had male characters but oh well)(no not playable male characters, wouldnt work with the butt stuff, but more side characters that are male, up to the point that i played theres only the player character and the commander)

yeah i saw so many adds of the game and finally deceied to play it, and it actully pretty good, the game is even in full english with great voice acting. To bad asmgold just hating on it only caring about the sexaual image with the game.

Honestly the plot kinda requires all playable characters to be female, there is Pascal from the Nier collab, but he's a collab character, (he's constantly referred to as a male in that game.)

The game is actually REALLY GOOD for mobile game standard
- Each nikke has great personal stories (in the level of fe3h and more)
- Fantastic bosses that challenges your timimg, strategy, and team comp
- Kickass SERIOUSLY hardcore musics. Look for Counter Attack and Land Eater
- Story keeps me hooked, i keep coming back to learn more about the world and stories
The only drawback is that theres still so many bugs right now

all the horny aspects aside, the story is dark and the current event made me sad with the plot twist. and the delivery of the voice acting was superb.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this game. Just play the first 20 - 30 minutes and you'll see how dark it is.

The only reason Anime waifus became such a staple in modern gaming is because its the last untouched bastion of hotties. Every modern game got dumbed down ugly women outside of maybe fortnite. Street fighter, final fantasy and anime games are the only things still putting out actual bangers when it comes to attractive women.
He’s trashing on it quite a bit but the story is actually really good. It hits you with a bombshell in the first chapter and it only gets better from there.
The gameplay is legitimately engaging and while there is an auto-play feature (hands off mode, if you catch my drift) there are hard missions that require you to aim and target specific things, take cover at the right time, and use skills at the right time to clear them. I failed the very first one of these missions thinking it would be a cake walk after leveling up my characters.
Regarding characters, while the R characters are definitely redundant I already had a full team of SR’s anyway completely for free just from the starting characters, pre-registration/launch rewards, and a free 10x roll.
I haven’t looked at the actual rates for the gacha itself but seeing as I already have a full team of SSRs, I’d say it isn’t too bad.
Also there are men in this game, at least, there’s one which I’ve seen. He looks pretty cool.

The reason why Fan-service Games that get released global are censored is because of the App store Age Rating.
Currently Nikke is rate for 12+ which is quite an accomplishment. Having your game rated for 16~18+ would mean less player and less profit.
If people had to complain it should not be on the game. Instead seek out the institutions that regulate and dictate what people can play.
Rating organization can be an ass sometimes.

highkey obsessed with this game, i LOVE the story and adore the characters and their individual lore, genuinely suggest trying it for yourself! (also haven't spent a dime on it and still get HEAPS of mats for free rolls and got some of my fav characters already)
People thought nikke was gonna fall off quick it's now a money maker the music goes hard story is pretty good to. All the characters are voiced in the story
i can't even play normal gacha games as i would get bored easily but nikke actually got me stick to as with its story + how easy it is to level up.Tried out genshin before and it was absolutely challenging to my mentality

To be honest with you, this game is the epitome of "Come for the fanservice. Stayed for the plot and the characters". It was promoted in a way to get you to click on it so obviously it looked as if its a mere cheap, perverted Gacha game. However, if you decide to look past that, Nikke: Goddess of Victory has a very solid storyline. It has a very developed story and there are constant events going on for every 2-3 weeks iirc. Definitely recommend others to play if they are looking for a new Gacha game.
I'm glad I made the right choice to start investing my time with this.

Downloaded this game a year ago because of an ad I saw on CZcams. It was so shameless that I felt "There's no way! This is too funny to not at least try it!"
Well, I'm still here playing, enjoying the plot as well as the *plot*.
This Gacha game has the greatest connection between player to character when accessing the Outpost where you can increase character bonds.
The writing is just super good, every single one of your character have their respective episodes of interaction with the player.
Stack up the story, it's not just stuck in a Campaign, it actually makes you EXPLORE the whole game.
(Also it's a Cover Shooter.)
Overall, thus being a Gacha game, Gacha is not the main focus. It's the least to worry. Same case goes to Punishing: Gray Raven where Gacha is not the main focus despite it existing.
It's one of those few gacha games where it explicitly tells you "oh you got great rolls? Good for you buddy, anyway here's a stage, I hope you have enough skill as a player and didn't just rely on rolling good SSR characters to get through the game, good luuuuuuuuck~"
Is Gacha not the main focus? Let's see you push chapter 13+ hard (without tons of resets and getting stuck for a month+) without modernia/red hood/scarlet/alice/bunnies/schoolgirls.

It's sad that majority of these comments are from people who never experienced the game themselves. Nikke has to be one of the best gatcha mobile games ever. The same people that made Stellar Blade created this game. Fan service aside, if this game didn't have fan service, It still would shine as a High tier game just off story and mechanics alone. I get being Asmongold fans in all but atleast give an original comment after downloading and playing the game...

fr tho, this game is one of the few gachas that I play daily. For anyone watching this now, it's literally fire.
Sure pulling top tier Nikkes can be annoying, but the story is legitimately good, and the daily tasks are quick.
plus if you feel like actually playing instead of auto playing, the team comps can be in depth.

as a disclaimer, I've only gotten hardcore into this game when the Nier collaboration happened. A lot of the early characters get outclassed by new characters, but it's still so great compared to others I've played

You can play this game F2P. I have 4 of the most powerful units in the game F2P, and I've played for like 2 months. It's also not like World of Warcraft or Diablo. It takes like... 30 minutes to do your dailies maybe an hour if you want some extra credit, then you're done with your progression for the day. You aren't sitting there for like 10 hours a day farming because you literally can't. You run out of daily / weekly activities.

NGL, it's a mobile game w/ all the gacha badness, but the Time Crisis style shooting gallery gets really challenging down the road, and is pretty damn fun. Manual play is much better than autoplay, and to beat some stages you really have to plan out your team, buffs, and focus fire. Also booba.

Nikke is probably the most generous gacha game i ever played. I already got almost all of the new event characters without having to spend a single money and i only have to spend at most 30 minutes if i want to get the most of daily stuff. Though 10 mins will do fine as well lol

EVERYBODY LISTENNN!! as somebody who plays this game (and has a social life,iswear im not a weirdo) i can see why this game was getting flamed by samon the whole video BUT,i just wanted to say that i found this game throught a tik tok and checked it out cuz i thought it was hillarious but when i looked more into it i understood that it is actually a pretty damn good game,as the narator of the video said ,it really has lots of good things other than the bodies and it is fun to play,with the part at 19:00 i strongly dissagree with asmon because in all games the most common characters aare bad and look the dullest because they arent really there to be played with and you absolutely do not have to spend money if you want characters,in 3 days i already have 6 ssr which are more than enough to make a team.yes this game has a lot of "plot" and thats its main kind of point to secure the attention and get players and even when i didnt want it,the game was still putting ass in my face xd but when you get kind of used to it,and finally are able to see the whole picture you see that this game is a lot more than that,you see the creators really put their effors and love into it which i could have never believed without playing it.i totally agree with the narator about his final verdict and i will definetly keep on playing it
Tried out nikke as my 2nd gacha game after getting bored with Genshin. A month later, I already have half of the current SSR units with a couple maxed out; haven't even spent a dime. Drop rates are better here compared from Genshin. Story is great to be honest, didn't expect that from a game like this. Event stories too, especially that "Overzone" one, the story was dark as f**k.
