Most men have this personality types. (In my experiences it aply to females who are sensory or thinking dominant too) - I personaly (Strong Fi) thinks that the concept INFP woman/man dosnt exsist. I think there only exsist INFP person. (Gender equality is my strongest core value - Norwegian INFP) 1. As INFP I totalty understand that concept and it is how I operate. I do listen to any people and I do not stribe to find solutions for them. 2. INFP are the most open and understanding people on this planet. There are people who can say and pretend they understand you, but INFPs DO TRULY SO. Because we read others like an open book. Its one of our superpowers. Only quirk that annoys me is when someone is jugding other people or and making slander. We should accept all people no matter what. I even encuraging to be different. 4. As INFP I value closeness, and deep connection to a person. If I dont feel that, sex is out of the question. I need to love that person deeply and I need to feel deeply loved back for it to be a thing. Sex is not very important to me anyway as I cheerish closeness and cuddles much more. This is the video that really makes a man see why a woman can't always accept male reciprocation. The thing that's so confusing for a man though is that she says she wished more men would stand up for her like when she's in trouble, but then she doesn't reciprocate and appreciate the man because she's afraid that how she was treated before by some jerk will happen to her again even by the nice guy. Men are essentially getting frustrated at women's poor dating choices, and how men view other men is men getting fed up of giving their time and attention to a woman that doesn't not only not reciprocate but keeps him hanging on because she enjoys the money, she enjoys the attention, but still won't give the nice guy problem solver a chance because she's afraid of losing the emotional drama high of not having what made her feel that way..The thrill of being on the cusp of something, but not quite having it. Men tend to think more logically. Women it's more about how something feels. For a highly sensitive INFP male myself, we can lean towards the feminine in some moments of how deeply something makes us feel, but lean towards the male when we need to uphold what's logically thought out in our minds that we've come to a conclusion to, and to uphold our values, pride, integrity and principles. Why your videos are important to me Lexi is because you seem to be one of the few INFP's that's made it (at least mostly since there's still more about yourself i'm yet to learn i'm sure, and you never know what goes on behind closed doors off camera as they say) when it comes to relationships. Howdy Lex, Great video as always. As an INFP man, I feel that this could also apply to guys as well as gals. Ironically my ideal partner (kind of similar to yourself) would be an ENFP woman. Perhaps the famous INFP male to ENFP female relationship would be Kurt Cobain to Cortney Love. It feels kind of weird engaging in this discussion because I don't consider myself anything other than masculine, however western societies definition of what is deemed masculine seems almost the anthesis of how myself and many other INFP guys operate by default (and there are occasions that INFP guys get wrongly labeled as "Faggots" by those that know no better ).
I’m intp and I look for a logical solution to a problem. Venting is a practice I don’t understand. It’s fascinating this need to express for the sake of expression. Thanks for vid this is a look into understanding my wife’s brain.
Good points. Excpet point 2. Now it is certainly true. But it is so important to understand that you are not perfect and really see the dark side of you. And in doing so differentiating between these bad traits and it´s potential for evil and the acted out part of who you are. The thinking I accept myself like I am and am happy with it is dangerous and has bad effects. You have to think further than that. You have to acknowledge the bad in you and see how you can improve to reach your potential ideal self. Now the ideal self of you is who you truly are and in working on improvement everyday to get there you act out your true self. And that you can love and be happy with. And here is the kicker. When you experience this you will feel a way deeper feeling of happiness and peace with yourself. Because you are not lying to yourself and create positive effects in your relationship and your life in general.
I am an INFP and ideally I would be with an INFP woman who shared all my values. I just feel like it is unlikely the more selective I am the less likely it will happen. I appreciate your perspective, it certainly can help out.

I really hate being an infp. I am 21 now and I'm depressed for almost 6 years now. I think about suicide a lot. I get so nervous around people and often fail to open my mouth and start talking. I had girlfriends but I felt misunderstood or was way too dependent. It's not like my life has gotten any better in the past 3 years. It's always more of the same shit. Doesn't anyone here have advice how to live a happier life as an infp?
WaayneInteressierts I’ve struggled with this, and the only thing that worked for me was not running from the depression, or your shadow self, but facing it and embracing your inner child. Hug yourself, and say “I love you. You are enough.” This is most important: suicidal thoughts rob you of your intuition and perspective. Seek a professional counselor or doctor, and be honest, tell them you are having these thoughts. They are required by law (in most Western countries) to help you. It is hard for INFPs to confess our dark thoughts because we are idealistic. Listen, best piece of advice I received: if you come to the edge, just sit down. The crisis will pass...usually takes about 15 mins. Just sit down, and don’t move. Let the thoughts dissipate.

Personally I'm most at peace when I let my creativity flow, and when I actually do find a person I can talk about my passions with. I can go on about them even if the other party doesn't really cooperate, especially in text form. It's great to let your emotions run free.

Thank you, we've been intuit it fairly well so far (INFJ transwoman AMAB and INFP Non-Binary AFAB), but it's good to highlight the important bits so they don't get forgotten. Be it cherishing them and then things will smooth out, or the other stuff.
