That classic British accent just speaks volumes about the root of the 80's like "I'll melt with you". That "love my way" part reminds me of "downer" Neil from "The Young Ones" on MTV.
I'm 58 and damn they sound absolutely timeless!! Richard and the boys bring back so many memories and they been on my journey the whole time!! So happy to see them doing their thing!!
I agree completely. I'm 64 and was 23 when this song came out, and loved it then, and love still love them along with Echo, and the Bunnymen, Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran, INXS, and all sorts of bands from the late 70's through the 80's. It's cool to see folks watching music that seems to be before their generation, and they get to listen to 'timeless' tunes many of us loved (and still love). Not surprisingly, after 40+ years, the Psychedelic Furs are still touring, and were just here in San Diego recently and they still rock their music and sound great!
Saw these guys back in ‘82 on the Forever Now tour. They were glorious. Richard Butler was riveting to watch and, quite obviously, he’s still got it. Glad to see his brother along side him. Wish this tour had come to where I live…..jealous of everyone who got to see them.
Those were the days, my friend. I went to shows nearly every week….not to boast but I saw a slew of what can now be considered “classic artists” of that era. It helped being in a large city as well.
Being someone who's the same age as most of the musical artist of the 80's, this is my favorite genre, and one of the best eras for great music, something not too many kids today appreciate. Many of them are still playing and can pack the crowd, whereas most of the bands today are a flash in the pan, here today, gone tomorrow.
I saw the Psychedelic Furs on April 29, 2023 at Tucson's Rialto Theater! I think it was the 1st stop on the 2023 USA Tour. They were ON TOP and READY to JAM! And with Zachary playing the drums, the beat never failed!
I now wish that I wasn't so damn High when I saw them at Toad's Place, in the heart of Yale Univ. and I don't even remember what yr in the '80s it was. All the great bands that I saw there in the late 1970s and '80s. Saw INXS there their first 2 tours and they were magnificent as was an early U2 (before they become too precious for me). Wven the Stones played there. I wasn't smitten by the Furs at first. I grew to love them but I hear people saying 'Oh he sounds great'. I have to disagree cuz I thought his voice kept breaking and I'm a fan but I'm being honest.
As an 80 kid I can’t tell you how dang happy I am to hear this - so good. Who’s with me? ❤❤❤
Yes. I saw them years ago and glad to see they are still making music. Sometimes there's nothing like a live performance.
Same!
Fuck yeah!
Who else saw this tour when they was 12 or 13 😊🎵✌️👊 my first real rock show
I'm here. I saw them in Asbury Park, NJ. THEY WERE SO AWESOME!!!💞💞💞
Omg, that voice! He still got it.
So good and smoking and deep
Yes he does!!!💞💞💞
Reminds me a lot of Bowie. Excellent!
Are we listening to the same thing? He’s pitchy as shit - it’s terrible - do u listen with auto tune?
Really? Fuckin' David Bowie wannabe.
One of my favorites!!! These guys were the best New Wave band of 80s in my opinion and I loved every second of it.
art punk
Sounds fabulous 🤩👏🏻💫
Still listening to "Love My Way" by the Psychedelic Furs July 4, 2023 Long Live the 80's
Theres something so eclectic about the 80's. It's like a warm blanket.
Furs Forever!!!!!!!
Such a unique voice and amazing how good Butler sounds. Love that I was a teen in the 80s. Our music was soooo good.
I was 15 in January 1980. Such an exciting time to be young. I'd go back in a heartbeat if I could. 😢
hey we do this one we're the CINEMATIC FURS czcams.com/video/DT-yTfRA3Lg/video.html
Butler still has a good and unique voice. Brings back memories of the mid 80's to me. I often play this song on repeat.
Always love Richard’s voice! Not enough love in the world and not enough xylophone…Love my way - ooh the irony😂 ❤❤❤❤
Voice remains strong! Good show.
Im 61 and this song is timeless .
I'm so blessed to live thru an incredible decade.
Same
40 years ago I first heard this, wanted to hear what he sounds like today, nice he is untouched by time, precious psychedelic furs memories, thank you
Young drummer up the back laying it down like a tidal wave. Good effort.
That's Zack Alford. He's the drummer in the B-52's Love Shack video, and Played with David Bowie for many years.
Not so young 😅

Some of the best music ever made and they still sound great.
I love this guy's voice.
Saw them on 4/28 in Phoenix, great show & his voice is still strong.
Saw them open for Tom Petty in ‘79; they made an impression, so cool to see this!
Great song.
Great band.
They sound as good as they did back in The Eighties!! 👍👍

totally agree and hey we do this one we're the CINEMATIC FURS czcams.com/video/DT-yTfRA3Lg/video.html
Didn't know they still toured. Pretty solid performance.
Just amazing that singing voice. Someone that knows nothing about music should know when he speaks he should be a singer.
They still sound great! 👍
Great to see many 80s bands up on there feet and performing for us. I was a huge MTV viewer and I LOVE THIS MUSIC!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This song makes me shiver
New Romantic music was exactly what it was ............
FLASH ME BACK TO MTV ❤❤❤ OH WHAT A GLORIOUS TIME.
Missed this concert, they didn’t come near Nashville… and I didn’t have money for a plane ticket. I hope I can attend another show😭
His voice is fantastic. Love this group
This is one of the best songs of all time 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.
totally agree and Bowie said it was one of his favorites and hey we do this one we're the CINEMATIC FURS czcams.com/video/DT-yTfRA3Lg/video.html
Richard rocked me through college.

Mix in the back up vocals would be psychedelic ❤
Richard is a legend!

Amazing voice!
I was there and so blown away
Great song
Wow... all these years sounding so great!
Looks like the drummer from Randy Neuman's Cars video is back in business.
Man I still have this album!👌😎👍👉❤️80s ruled!
My 1st concert 1986 🥰
It's like Bowie never really died. He transformed.
My opinion is.... this song represents the 1980s. If you wonder what the 80s was like... this is it!!
my heart sings
Love them
Great song. Still.
I saw them at Chrysler Hall in Norfolk when they put out the Midnight To Midnight album- awesome show!

You know you've made an impact when it takes only the first 4/4 bar of the song for the crowd to cheer !!!###
Amazing.
Magic night. ❤
sounds pretty good!
The tambourine guy is just killing it.
I agree
Butler is carrying the Bowie torch in his place. 😻😻😻😻😻😻
This is a great song
Thank you, pie is so delicious
It's hard to sing to this song in the car without trying to do the accent too. I love this song and still have the vinyl 45 of it.

It’s f******* beautiful 😢❤
RIP Mars
Today i see you in Évora. Is my pleasure.
Love the 80s😊
Fuck yea
It really good music was in the 80s.
PLEASE IF THERE IS GOD OUT THERE PLEASE SEND ME BACK TO THE EARLY 80'S
Early 80s was absolutely the best with a plethora of unique and beautiful melodies over a few years of time.
💭🎼🎶🎵🎶🎙️💎
Saw them in Memphis
Wonder if they will ever do Ghosts Again?
What an expressive voice, but what a mountain climb, though

Remenber David Bowie this song❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
where is Mars on Sax?
Helo Donald
Intro sounds reminiscent of Under My Thumb
original produced by Rundgren!
Those were the days…..
