I'll admit it... I cried when the guy started announcing the Kings and Queens of Narnia. So many memories!! I've never actually seen a live performance of this soundtrack, which is such a shame cause for all the bad rap the sequels get, this movie's soundtrack was something majestic, magical, and beautiful.
That was the most powerful finale I've heard in an orchestral piece, it gave me chills the entire time!
kurisu cosmo: Yes it was. You can hear it here - when the music stands alone...
Once a king or queen of Narnia..... ALWAYS a king or queen of Narnia
It really is a gorgeous soundtrack.
This film is so impactful to my life
"Do not cite the Deep Magic to me, witch; I WAS THERE WHEN IT WAS WRITTEN!"
Hail the Great Lion of Judah!
hallelujah!
There was an origin story of how narnia was created, it involved a ring of power that was owned by a wizard, the nephew of the wizard and the girl next door. Aslan is the first being that was created, it involved a space and time, pocket dimension and what not. It was like Harry potter met alice in wonderland.
I can hear Aslan's voice lol
🥺❤️
Narnia has one of the most beautiful soundtracks ever, and you did it so gorgeous justice.
Though the movie is not among my favorites of those in this performance, this really is a superior piece of music.
Chills at the end. Every time.
To those who love the Narnia soundtrack, I really recommend the movie "Perfume", even if you don't watch the movie, at least listen to its soundtrack, it's a bit more eerie but nonetheless magical :)
Sanya Reza it’s true...it really has a beautiful and majestic soundtrack when it comes to fantasy movies.
AGREE
Narnia is one of the best stories ever told and this music is wonderful. I reckon CSLewis may be smiling from Heaven because of this.
Its truly magnificent. But I want to hear them perform "The Battle".

Yes!! 💯

There is a Vertion of That song on arrangment with Two Step From Hell..... It is Chill Inducing
HATS OFF TO THE ONE WHO CAME WITH THE IDEA GIVING THIS ORCHESTRA A NARRATOR. IM OFFICIALLY GOING BACK TO THE MEMORY LANE

@@MissBehaven1974 who are that narrator?
@@metsamaa David Bateson
i know some of 'em in real life
@@MissBehaven1974 thx
I saw my childhood flash before my eyes, no matter how many times I listen to this, this still gives me chills
His voice reminds me of Aslan’s voice though!
Yeah I feel to😇❤

"Narnia...the land beyond the wardrobe door, a secret place frozen in eternal winter, a magical country waiting to be set free.
Lucy is the first to find the secret of the wardrobe in the professor's mysterious old house. At first her brothers and sister don't believe her when she tells of her visit to the land of Narnia. But soon Edmund, then Peter and Susan step through the wardrobe themselves. In Narnia they find a country buried under the evil enchantment of the White Witch."
"To the glistening eastern sea, I give you Queen Lucy the Valiant. To the great western woods, King Edmund the Just. To the radiant southern sun, Queen Susan the Gentle. And to the clear northern skies, I give you King Peter the Magnificent. Once a king or queen of Narnia, always a king or queen of Narnia. May your wisdom grace us until the stars rain down from the heavens."
💖
❤❤❤
And stars did rain in the end, the last book says so
@@Gongasoso I forget about it. 🤣. Because I read them in Bahasa Indonesia many years ago.
Omg i need to read all of the series and rewatched all of the movies
Isn't Narnia the most underrated score from 2000s. Chills everywhere everytime i listen to.
Once a King or Queen in Narnia, always a King or Queen in Narnia.
Started crying on that one.
Following the Last Battle, Susan needs to remember that line.
Only the 2000 kids will know
I was there, and I have to admit... I cried.
I cry whenever I listen to their godfather orchestra
Veni, vidi, lacrimari
Lucky you😭 are they doing a tour or something?
@@boogywumpy Nope. They usually stick to their own concert hall in Copenhagen.
jeg var der ikke selv om min ven er i koret.. jeg kunne ikke komme... skieværd me d det.. så kan jeg se det her
King Edmund, the Just. Not by his own works, but because he has been justified!
Vitor Andrade : He found his courage to take on evil in the end. He understood the evil of the Witch far better than the others. (Remember, he defeated the Witch again in a later story.)
He is just, because he understands weakness and evil, as well as courage and mercy.
@@tm502010 Narnia is christian fable. Edmund has been justified because Aslan died (and reasen) for him. The same way Jesus died for our sins and in his blood we was justified all our sins.
Yep. Even in Thug Notes, Doc Sweets says stuff like this in his analysis of the book: czcams.com/video/rPJL2AoxeBE/video.html
tm502010 Edmund became the wisest and most judicious of the four because he had, even for a short time, been under the influence of an evil being, perhaps even evil himself. Because Aslan showed him mercy, he was saved. And he lived on to help save Narnia and his siblings many times over. Redeemed villains/antiheroes make such great characters when they don't get killed off for no reason * cough * Ben Solo * cough *
That line about Edmund was latter when he grow as a king. Remember when Peter told about edmund courage against the white wich
Now we need an audiobook with David as the narrator! That was amazing
7:03 I started bawling. This movie makes up approximately 85% of my childhood.
The choirs of "A Narnia lullaby" slowly getting in always gives me goosebumps.
Narina is home to me. Ugh I miss my childhood 😭😭😭😭😭
Well the this finally broke me into tears when he was announcing the names of the Narnian rulers.
How I yearn for my childhood again at the end of this decade.
I started crying too haha This soundtrack is amazing just as their performance
❤️
I'm 23 and I'm crying my eyes out !
Good to know I'm not the only one lol
@@arinpieterse8221 i still watch the narnia because best fantastic movie ever :)
I'm not alone 😂
nanian lullaby it’s extremely terrifying to me, in the good way, chills me in a absurdity levels
Es tan bella y cautivadora , como terriblemente aterradora ... Es hermosa , es mágica .
So many childhood memories hearing this music. Narnia has one of the most captivating scores ever, and that main theme is freaking majestic!
I always feel cold, anxiety, excited and passion all in a good way when I hear this music since I was a kid I wished that I could live in Narnia.
As what Aslan said in the Voyage of the Dawn Treader, that the children were brought to Narnia for a reason, so we are given a glimpse of that world for a reason - that we may see the wonder here in the world we were placed in. If you haven yet, try reading the other works of the author of Narnia, C.S. Lewis. 😊

When they tell the story from the beginning until the coronation in 7 minutes ..srsly i feel nostalgic when he said "Kings and Queens of Narnia"...Long live kings and queens of narnia...This is just my childhood..
When they played the coronation song I ended up as a mess of tears. Reminded me of when I was around 13 and I put this song on my headphones, and pretended I was being coronated Queen of Narnia (as I know many of us did). This music really has the power of taking you to another world, and then they say magic isn't real!
You have no idea how deep this music goes into me. I was an introverted dude and Narnia was my escape destination. Such a pure world. So beautiful
You can feel the Deep Magic in the music. Literal chills.
So true!!!!
YEPPP
Do not cite the Deep Magic to me, wizard. I was there when it was written.
Chills and tears
Throughout my childhood, my only wish was to live in Narnia. This music brings back such beautiful memories. Compelling performance!!
The Coronation theme, especially with the narration, is a surefire way of getting me to break down in tears immediately. I don't know why exactly that is, but after reading the whole series and watching the first movie multiple times, I can't ever not cry at the coronation scene. The music is absolutely magical.
This movie is one of the best book adaptations ever from soundtrack to casting to VFX everything was just about perfect.
I came upon this video accidentally and ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!! Watching NARNIA movies are my best childhood memories! So many thoughts are coming back right now. How old have I become? When the coronation speech came I literally had tears in my eyes.
Я и не думал, что смогу так четко вернуться в прошлое, спасибо. Музыка погружает и поражает.. Завидую тем, кто был тогда и тем кто будет.
No one's talking about how beautiful the costumes, make up, props and stage design is!!! I love the airy green dresses, the simple gold glitter across their cheekbones and the elvish ears 😍😍 The music in Narnia is imbued with magic, we all can feel it
Not gonna lie.. but I literally got chills when A Narnia Lullaby started playing. Ah the memories. ☺
Oh my god, my childhood 😭
I started crying from the first seconds
It's the ending announcements. And to the Eastern sea...!
just closing my eyes.. i can imagine the magical land of narnia
You could literally see the smile on his face when they began playing at 4:21
Det er så skønt.
I could’ve SWORN the narrator was Liam Neeson there for a second lol!
His name is David Bateson, known for being the voice of Agent 47 in the Danish produced video game series Hitman ... Bateson was born in South Africa but has lived permanently in Denmark since 1992, working as an actor and narrator in lots of Danish TV series and movies, besides his work as Agent 47. So the DR1 (and National) Symphony Orchestra, which is the Danish equivalent to English BBC1 Symphony Orchestra, also make use of him and his skills as narrator, like in this case.
I cried like a child all the marvelous video.

This got me in tears. I remember how much I loved this series. Thank you guys, it was a pleasure hearing these soundtracks from you…
HOLY SHIT! That guy IS Hitman voice Actor David Bateson!!!!!!
I didn't know there'd been a movie until last year. Safe to say that the soundtrack in my head while reading it was not nearly as grand.
I only wish they'd gotten around to doing all 7 books. I am very grateful that they got three movies done and that they were (in my opinion) so much better than the BBC miniseries.
If that guy could read the book for me, I would probably listen .. especially with the music behind it...
that finale gave me chills and tears
This is best soundtrack I have ever heard. I've always been a Narnia fan since I was 5, honestly I cried :)
