  • JT's talk will draw on my knowledge of change management, through the kaleidoscope of his experiences within philosophy, sociology, psychology, education, and research to illustrate the complexity and simplicity of human change and resistance.
He will explore the human side of change and how intentional effort can move individuals from suffering to successful integration.
As a teacher, trainer, and instructional coach, I devote my energy toward the facilitation of learning-what I see as the applied science of manifesting physical change in the brain.I hope to inspire educators and their admirers to embrace the changes taking place all around us; to understand that resistance is natural and overcoming it can be done through systematic planning and effort; and to recognizing that managing change, whether invited or imposed, all starts and ends with people."
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at ted.com/tedx

This was fantastic. Had a clear vision for what he set out to say, he had qualitative evidence to back it up, he outlined failures as well as successes. Only thing i had an issue with is the filming - it would have been helpful to see the graphs he was referring to.

One of the changes that needs to take place is: Principals, School Board/Superintendents should all be required to have training in Special Education (and part of that training should be conducted by someone who has a disability).
