What excites me about this game is that it’s an actual old school RPG where you have to actually listen to the dialogue to help you progress, added with the realism of the time period it’s a definitely going to be a game I look to buy at some point, not a day one though usually games like this are far better a month or two down the line after a patch or four
Daniel Mc my avatar
Ivar the Boneless I already miss him and it’s only been a week or 2 lol
That UI looks like it's been designed for consoles. Hopefully it's different on PC or if not different then at least not as clunky as the original UI for PC Skyrim.
Definitely be waiting a few months before getting this game.
This is exactly why I wont get it day one. Seems like performance will be a mayor issue.
Daniel Mc My fear is that you have to be intelligent to play this game which spells trouble for me. XD
If this game is well received i'd love to see kingdom come as a historical game series like kingdom come Rome, Greece or the crusades maybe even the reconquesta. So pretty much if they get major funding they could create even more awesome ass games i'd love to see Spain in 1400s or Byzantium in 1200s
Deion Goldsmith well don't think so coz the developers are aiming for the husits rebelions in bohemia and the main event of the rebelion (burning Jan Hus for heresy) seems not to be yet concluded. So I don't think they will move away from czech rep. For a while
Deion Goldsmith isnt it Byzantine
I heard they're planning to make this game some sort of trilogy
Something around the Norman invasion of England would be great too
Yeah Norman Invasion or Viking incursions into Anglo-Saxon Britain.
Day 1 buy for me. A game in historically accurate setting with both a deep level of accuracy in weapons, armor and location sounds amazing. It's a breathe of fresh air in a genre usually filled with elfs, orcs, dragons and monsters. Yes open worlds have been done to death but if they are done right it can be an epic experience. I really hope this one turns out to be great game and is successful . The developers have busted their ass on the game and deserve it
LouDogg 420 I agree completely I’m also glad it has survival mechanics and a lot of realism to the gameplay those are my favorite kind of games
The Witcher 3 was a breath of fresh air for other reasons, like quest/world design, I would not count historical accuracy as one of them. Almost every fantasy game uses the same type of architecture and 5 or 6 weapons types, plus I don't remember people upgrading weapons with runestones in my history books. Also yes the armor was partially accurate but overall lacks the complexity that these armor sets actually had, which Kingdom Come features. I'm not sayin the Witcher is bad by any means, I love the game, but calling it historically accurate in those cases is a little misleading. I'm kinda hoping this game is the next "Witcher" for me.
Lou why don't you preorder it at the last second that why you get the free shit unless you want to get a hard copy.
Way ahead of you man, I've had it preordered for a few weeks now. I figured these developers and their vision for the game were worth supporting with my preorder. It's an extremely rare thing for me to do but they deserve it. Now hopefully the game doesn't suck haha
Yeah I preorder it like two months ago I got for free working at speedway:)
My most anticipated game... There are about seven games I am looking forward to, but this one is a must have for me.
What are the others?
Let me guess mount and blade bannerlord
Lol my uncle told me about this game because I told him I wanted a mount n blade game with skyrim style graphics n combat the gods have answered my prayers
Chaos Ascalon These graphics and combat look nothing like Skyrim though.
What's you're other ones, mine are starfield, kingdom come deliverance and wwe 2k19.
Can’t wait to totally suck at this awesome game for hours and hours on end! DILLY DILLY!
I work from two in the morning until eight so I got like eight solid hour to play this game without any bothering me. Will be great.
I’m taking a a couple vacation days when it’s released!
You won't be alone Dilly Dilly
I will suffer with you through that brutal combat system. But it'll be fun.
I suck at perfecting parries and timing and that's why I die in many games 🤦🏽♂️
But that's what keep coming back 😂😂
Deep Silver gave them no money at all. And most of the budget came from the private investor. Kickstarter campaign was just to make the investor sure people are interested in this kind of game.
Yep Yep, DS acts only as a distributor. No money =/= no distributor nose in decisions => happiness.
Yup like you know
@Jakub That isn't how it works, and yes DS has a monetary investment in the game, because they are publishing the game (which costs money).
The game had a 5 million dollar budget.
They raised 2 million between kick starter and crowd funding (private investors). so where do you think the other 3 million came from? The answer to that is Deep Silver.
I would however like to know where you got this so-called insider information that claims DS has payed in no money, because that is a pretty ridiculous claim.
alexubel Wrong, wrong, wrong. Budget Is 11,5 milion. 3 are from community, rest from our local bilionare. Developer's insist on publisher which will not dictate them anything, doesn't want huge amount of money for distributing game for consoles etc. That's why they choosed DS
alexubel Maybe even my numbers are wrong, but I'm sure DS didn't give them money. And If they did, it would be just small part of the budget. Most of the budget comes from bilionare Zdeněk Bakala
But can I take off my pommel and end my enemies rightly?
I hope there are katanas.
ReMeDy It's a medieval era looking rather similar to European countries...why would there be Kitanas?
ReMeDy katanas would get wrecked in any sword battle they’re too brittle
Rest assured there will probably be a samurai conversion, hell there is already a GoT in the works.
Nippon steel can cut through anything like butter. It is a well know fact that Japanese soldiers in WW2 strapped katanas to their planes and cut the maginot line in half, allowing the Germans to invade Poland.
Please let the reviews say this game is great. I need a new ambitious rpg so damn bad.
I will write a review for the game but you should not trust some of the website reviews they don't like the creator of the game that much and they often will nitpick a game. They will compare a game with 80 million dollar budget with a game that has like four to five times less then that. I only go on to Wikipedia and read the scores on their as a baseline. I got the game basically for free.
Try to keep in mind the taste of the reviewers too. If you follow a guy who doesn't like or play this genre of game then take what they say, even if its overwhelmingly positive, with a grain of salt.
Angry Joe is a great person to check out, though it might be awhile before he reviews this game beyond first impressions because of its scale. He's my #1 trusted game reviewer because he can appreciate a good game that just isn't for him and even when I don't agree with his final score I still understand the reasons for it and agree with the criticisms levied at the game. He asks hard questions and doesn't blow smoke up anyone's ass, even games he's been hyped for, especially games he's been hyped for actually, and he's self supported so he has no big name company skewing his views writing him checks. Heck, most of the gaming he does that's used for the review is on stream so virtually the entire process short of the bts script stuff is visible to the whole internet.
Zero Punctuation is just an honest gamer giving an honest review too, though albeit in a less detail rich more humorous manner. He doesn't even try to account for his internal bias and preferred game styles so keep that in mind if you check him out.
Other then that, I don't trust any game review, ESPECIALLY game magazine/web article reviews who are best to be assumed as paid off wholly by big game publishers.
Angry Joe he might not review the game as he backed the game yeArs ago so he might feel it might be a conflict of interest
Same here been trying to play 1 too fallout and skyrim are played out
cant wait, been following this game for the past 3 1/2 years.
same dude. Thing is I just spent all my money on a new pc and don't have any money.
I first heard about this game around 7 years ago when all there was, was a video with a building and a flower and an idea.
About 6 months for me, and it felt like a century waiting for the game. Can’t imagine what it felt like for you guys.
I'm extremely excited for this game! It's been a while since I've let myself get excited as I am for a game, but I think this game deserves it. I hope I'm not wrong. But the historical authenticity with how it handles combat, it's weapons and armor, and historical events is something I'm looking forward to. It's about time a proper medieval game with realistic fighting came about. While I adore fantasy, only one game in that genre so far has had a more realistic approach to some of its designs (the Witcher series), and I'm just tired of seeing all of the none sense crap fantasy tends to bring to the table.
Crap like unreasonably sized swords, ridiculous armor ideas (looking at you studded leather or daedric armor...), or entirely magic based worlds. So I'm glad a medieval (non fantasy) game is coming. There has been a lacking of these types of games.
PANCAKEMINEZZ for real! finally a game with some what real hema combat and a nice story probably one of my games of the year tbh.
totally agree with you. This is a day one buy for me... It would only be better if it was set in feudal japan, but that's just a slight preference i have. would fit the realistic combat i think.
no game can live up to the hype the fans create
PANCAKEMINEZZ wow dude. You like fantasy, but you hate fantasy. Gg
+PANCAKEMINEZZ You claim you've been waiting for a 'realistic' game but demonstrate by name dropping The Witcher that you probably couldn't tell the difference between hollywood and reality. There's no problem with liking what you like but it doesn't mean you have to justify that under the guise of realism.
Peoples complaints of this game seem a little silly. Upset because no character creation or that the main character is goofy looking. I think that’s the point. He’s just an average joe. Interesting concept. I’m excited for this. Almost seems like DnD :)
Average Joe is fine. Henry looks like the village idiot.
That's how he gets ya!
I backed this game im so stoked to get it in 23 some odd days!!!
Can I be a passive monk that snitch’s on everyone?
Bothan Bo probably not
Torin Jones can I be a politician with an entourage?
They have mentioned that you can play the whole game as a pacifist, so maybe?
Xaozz muhaahahahaha..... do my bidding peasants and kings!!
There's a mission when you can play as a monk... i mean, you have to pretend to be a monk while you investigate.
Bohemia as in czech Kingdom yeah?
F Gievski yes. its a historically accurate rpg just obviously the players individual story is fictional
If it is historically accurate then why does everyone have English accents? They are medieval Czechs
S Ryan to sell it A. to an international audience (British English is the most spoken English internationally) and B. English English is massively associated with medieval/fantasy eras following the terrible feedback from Robin Hood Prince of Thieves in which Robin Hood was voiced by an American actor who didn't attempt to put on an accent and was massively controversial for international and US audiences (prior to this medieval characters all spoke with American English accents). Hollywood decided that for medieval productions actors need to be understandable but also historic and settled on present English accents being the go to voice of the medieval world. It's a reason why aristocracy in movies always speak rp or close to rp despite that particular English accent only coming to excistancd towards the end of the Victorian period which is strange it is also called Queens English (After Victoria) but she spoke mostly German but when she spoke English she did so with a very strong German Accent. Because of the Influence Hollywood has it basically became an unofficial law that medieval/fantasy settings use English accents.
Don't get me wrong I would prefer them to have Czech accents as well I'm just explaining the reason most modern medieval/fantasy films, video games and Audio books use English accents.
Torin Jones no that doesn't make sense. They should have Czech accents if they want to be authentic
S Ryan It does make sense. I studied film and media at college and did an essay on why British English is used as the language for the medieval period. its because games and media are marketed for Americans (they're the biggest western market after all) and Americans associate British English Accents with the medieval period because American Accents don't make sense because America has no Medieval period history.
Why 12 you ask? so that the video can reach the 10 minute mark
does anyone know how many factions there will be at war or will it just be the 2 there do kinda wish you can choose between 3rd person or 1st
If they downgrade the graphics due to consoles, I'll be mad.
They don't downgrade because of consoles they ported to consoles. So if they downgraded it was not because of consoles. They talk about the frame rate and graphics recently.
Why? Many games did this in the last years
Cyka Blyat you do know that most people play on console right, consoles are made with the sole purpose of playing games. PC's were made to use the internet so pc's are no better than console apart from graphics which don't matter to begin with. Now i have to get to horizon's frozens wilds dlc (console exclusive)
frostyblade 88 PC has: Better framerate, better graphics, mods, more exclusives, customizable and better hardware, useable for other things besides gaming, most games have controller support, emulators, don't pay to play online, play older games without buying them again, PC's are cheaper in the long run. I could go on and on about the benefits of PC gaming, but please, continue to use the arguement that you have "better" exclusives.
Pretty sure ign has ps4 ganeplay somewhere on youtube, the graphics look just as great from what I can tell
mmmmm they nailed the armors actually used back then I'm happy for this
I hope this game does well, great graphics, mature content, historically accurate, true RPG that doesn't hold your hand. We need more games like this.
I really hope this doesn't end up being a disappointment. It looks like it has a lot of potential.
This game looks really good no majic or monster count me in 👍
god Good Point 👍
First Monster Hunter world then Kingdom Come deliverance
OnMyL3v3l1 thats what I'm talking about
Monster Hunter releases later this Year...
Lol MHW comes out on the 26 4 more days brah

August, it is!
53Memati53 Fall 2018
I'd like to know more of the weapon system. Can I joust? Are axes and hammers usable weapons? ECT.
Also want to know if pc will have controller support.
Great video btw.
Axes and hammers certainly are a thing. Can't tell you about lances, but I'll be shocked if they're not in there somewhere.
i'm not sure how i feel about the combat mechanics. It looks boring just looking at it but I have played other games before that also looks boring but feels right if you are the one playing it. I hope it will be good.
morris jan Javier atleast u are reasonable thank you
Combat develops through play - at the beginning you will have no developed skills. Wading in as a warrior will end... fast.
Later you learn the basics and things will open up a bit, but you are still any real soldier's whittling practice.
Only with continued learning and practice will the system open up, as both you and Henry 'get' how the weapon should be used, and start adding new things to his repetoire of actions. Techniques which change the shape of the opponent's guard giving you a known opening to strike are important - and include feints, ripostes (which parry and strike in two tempi), master strikes (which cover and strike in the same tempo) and devices - strikes which draw a particular defence which gives a known opening to exploit.
This 'journey' is amazing, and very like that of a person practicing swordsmanship from the renaissance treatises (mostly a little later than the game time, or a bit obscure if contemporary) - and the presentation is useful to such a practitioner for practice of measure, place and position, and tempo. (in play - the slower time during 'indes' actions is not dissimilar to how feeling gives more information and this much faster than seeing alone... this doesn't come across while watching a video of someone else playing though).
(The march 2016 tech beta 'cheats' a bit with the development and just gives all the weapon skills, a middling 'skill' Henry and dumps the player in at the deep end with a basically competent tutorial marred by low frame rates in the Merhojed camp area - not entirely the best introduction, and just dumping 'clueless' journalists into the combat of mid-game in late 2017 builds also doesn't show the whole system in use, one or two basic attacks, and outnumbering the opponents being the highlights. The journalists aren't incompetent, just haven't had the opportunity to learn-along-with-Henry and may not have a realistic idea of what is possible with a sword (and when to try it), so cannot fully use the palette of options they don't understand..)
If you have any interest in swords, other hand weapons and how they were used, then consider trying out a local HEMA class, and also give this game a go. But heed it's warnings, and practice...
Grace Sprocket I am gonna buy because it is my favorite setting and story freedom combat is a extra for me but I will try my best to get better at it and feel the best of fencing
Grace Sprocket or HEMA as it is called
+Grace Sprocket Not much said here seems to have a basis in truth. All of the core combat mechanics are available to the player from about the start of the game. 5 cuts, 1 thrust, blocking, timed blocking, feints, dashing, basic movement all that can be performed with whatever weapon the player has on them. New attack combinations utilizing the aforementioned 6 attacks become available and perks that strengthen the player.
Theoretically it should be possible to beat the strongest enemies in the game from the start (assuming they're not locked behind quests or other similar barriers.)
In the beta as a Diplomat (with no sword skills.) and as a swordsman you have access to mostly the same abilities. The combat is not substantially different between them. In the final product from what I've gathered as I have said new combinations and counter animations will become available, I've seen no evidence that we'll see more than that.
I challenge you to find recent promotional material where it's officially claimed that Henry will gain access to 'master strikes' as regular attack animations and not instead as something that happens at the end of a combination. I issue that same challenge for all of the various 'skills' and abilities you claimed would become available.
The developers don't have a sound understanding of what's possible with a sword, not all of their experts specifically shown in promotional material do either. If the promotional material is assumed to be accurate or a reflection of the depth of their research they worked heavily with a European Stage fencing studio for much of the combat and did some self-interpretation of Talhoffer to design certain combinations and counter animations.
Don't take my comment too harshly, I'm really looking forward to this game and I actually think the combat system is awesome. I just think you're reading into things that simply aren't there.
I'm interested but not sold. Hope it's good though.
Watch the alienware pax sout day 2 from twitch 2:40:00
Hungry Trash Panda I think this a game of small details. On the surface it seems maybe not so interesting, but thats the time periods realism. I think the game will shine in naritive and overall emersion far beyond most rpgs out right now. But who knows?
Personally I am sold on this game, have been since a first heard about it. I love medieval sort of games and have always wanted a more realistic RPG like this. I just really hope It's not a let down because so many games are :(
I think this game at least has three or four different ways to play it which means most people will find a way to enjoy it. I don't play many stealth games but I thought the Dishonored games and Alien isolation are great games gAmes. The dishonored games let you play three or four different ways you can kill everyone you can kill no one you can used special power in the second game you don't have to used special power. Alien isolation was a probably one of the best film based game of all time that I can think of because it captures the look and feel of the first movie from the fear to the look of the ship. My only issue with Alien isolation was that it was to long they could have got rid of like three chapters and it would have made the game great.
Can't get hyped for games anymore 😢
Im still going to wait for the reviews, but ya Im excited!
Just add one to three points for ign, gamestop, and polygon. Because I can see it now my issue with this game is that put most of its eggs to realism and the combat is to hard you will died a lot and there is no easy mode ign. Gamestop, will be the action is to slow I wish it was more like call of duty with sword. Polygon review will read something this game is sexist and racists. The reason for that it really easy in modern gaming to have a customizable character so why couldn't add a playable female character. The only people of Color in this game (i hate that term) are enemies
It will be a racist wet dream as the Cuman are called terrible names like animals and whoreson.:) I fear one of these outline or a another one will saying something like this. Which is why I don't trust Metacritic for the same reason.
Cullen Diethron you love defending this game Buddy
Small budget, small team I want double A game to do well. So we will get better game in the future. Also ign sucks look at Alien Isolation they gave it a six they should put three to four people on a game and average it out. Also Skoowy I think polygon will say something on the lines that they don't want to play as a white male.:)
One last thing my take was more on those websites sucking. Ign showed off the internal alpha like two months ago and did not tell anyone that it was very old footage which is best unprofessional and at worse unethical and they wonder why most people don't respect them anymore for their review. I only go on their if I am stuck on a game. I also have a night job so I got nothing to do during the day other than pick fight on CZcams it pasts the time. I mostly call someone a dumbass it usual works to get a raise out of people
I agree with your assessment of ign etc. That's why I get my reviews from youtubers like acg, pgg, rags and angry jo.
How will the game run on the one s however? Somewhere in between the x and the original?
Notlikeyoucare you answered your own question in that question bro
Brad Shaw Okay cool thanks I was just clarifying. :)
You'll be getting the performance of the regular xbox one. The S isn't any more powerful in anyway.
Larry House Actually the s is a whole lot more powerful thanks to extra gpu and cpu power. If you watch digital foundry’s video on the s vs the original you will see that the s has a 7-11 percent performance boost over the original, as well as almost completely eliminating much tearing and stuttering present in the original.
Notlikeyoucare I've owned them all. It's hardly noticeable.
I hope it doesn't fall in the underrated section of games , this game looks promising and amazing
Can't wait. Flipping amazing. Glad to be alive. !
no character creation, whelp 75% of the modding community who wants females in bikinis are gone already. :D
Looots 13 I’m sure if it has mods the community will sort it’s own character creation out over time..
was joking, I love character creation. but hated the bikinis and such. (only when too much)
Yeah i know what you mean, I love creating my own character, but most games with mods, end up with 80% of the created characters being overly beautiful women wearing hardly anything.
Where the hell are the badass grisly characters who look like they have been through some shit?
there are some, but as the modding becomes longer we get lesser quality, thus explains the bikini mode community.
I prefer character creation in games definitely, but you are missing out of some AMAZING rpg's if you limit yourslef like that. Lack of CC doesn't limit immersion - from the looks of things, this is going to be one of the most immersive games ever. Most things in this game depend on players choices, actions and skill.
My favourite game ever is The Witcher 3 - which is a masterpiece and one of the most immersive games, where choices actually make a difference - and yet there is no CC.
One question guys. You recommend an Xbox controller or keyboard and mouse on PC?
Chaos Miner k+m is the only way to go on pc
The_Drop Bear thanks man
i got my early order done but im not touching before release. i wanna experience what they got to deliver as a full product and interested to see the actual quality of the thing
i like what i see but the combact seems a bit disappointing.
If someone has played the beta please tell me if the combact is good or bad.
I use it for practice of measure, position and place, and tempo for renaissance longsword and rapier. It doesn't cover haptics, of course, but I cover those with cutting drills (and footwork sets), but it is hugely helpful for 'opposed' practice and decision making.
The actual fights, once you have developed your own and Henry's skills are excellent, with both Henry and npcs able and willing to use various deceptive and reactive techniques to make openings and to avoid being struck.
Every fight is tense. Mistakes reduce your ability to perform actions, sometimes limiting repetitions, other times actually restricting your use of equipment if injury is to the hands... and bleeding will continue this degradation until death or you leave combat and can staunch the loss. ..And the same is true of opponents. Wound him and he will become easier to wound again, and will if bleeding get weaker and eventually die if he cannot win or leave.
Even a basic peasant with a stick can kill you - full harness and master swordsman or not, if you give him openings and react poorly... but he will die much more easily to a sharp sword used skilfully.
Grace Sprocket but is the combact fun to play or is it clunky or slow?
YMMV. I am not you... But I find it extremely engaging., tense. It is tactical. Slow paced when facing against your equal and waiting for an exploitable 'shape' an arrangement of time, position, place and weapon placement... or fast paced as you force a reaction and counter it. Things can end in seconds, or a hard fight may last for minutes.
Practice makes options... so practice to make offensive cuts a viable option... at the beginning you will mostly want to parry-riposte, later you may be able to just perform the action you want.
Fights depend on equipment to some degree - a sword deals with 'just gambeson' quite well, but is indifferent when used against harness (unless the helm is open faced and you thrust the face)... maces have much shorter reach (and thus almost require a shield), and do less injury to gambeson, but more to harness.. However action choices and skill (both Henry's and the player's) are the ultimate decider.
CLONES the combat is supposed to be very realistic so no button bashing your way to victory, I like the sound of that
It depends on your preference. If you like realistic and historically accurate combat - then this is for you. But if you're a fan of the more quick-paced combats with dodge-rolls and reaction times like TW3 or Dark Souls 3 then you may not like it. Personally, I like both.
I already can't wait for the "This Is How You Don't Play..."
No Magic or Weirdass Monsters... Full of Realism and Real Emotions. Count me in.
I was unsure whether to get it right away or wait. You raised some points unknown to me. And that's why I will get it right away. Looks really great.
sold when they said historically accurate.
This game will be good in vr
They tried vr it didn't real work and people got sick it was to fast or something like that
If you get it on PC it will have mod support so if you've got a beefy enough computer I don't see why you couldn't do a VR modded setup after a few months post release.
You can probably force VR with vorpex, but you'll need one hell of a processor to do it.
but still you could ;)
They could retrofit the game around VR like LA noir. Change the system itself to cater to VR.
Just pre-ordered 22 days and counting, can't wait
I hope there is a RNG on the fight mechanic so that NPCs will get random preferences and combos, thus will have patterns that you can pick up on.
Can you get drunk?
You most definitely can. Actually, to be able to save the game, you have to drink some sort of spirit ingame (which will be available only in limited supply).
I think that is specifically to Autosave the game you have to drink. The standard way to save is to sleep i believe. Also i imagine they have exit saves.
Autosaves are normally ingame. Drinking is needed for quicksaves (you know, to avoid scam-reloading for pickpocketing and stuff). Sleep is standard, normal save.
I've actually heard there was a drinking skill, so cheers.
Quote from Daniel Vávra's twitter: "So a tester complains, that he got drunk in the game, so he could barely walk and see and then got into a fight and horse chase and was killed and we should fix it. Any advices? :)"
So, yeah, apparently you can get drunk.

The Elder Scrolls: Bohemia
Without elves, orcs, magic, enchanting, argonians, khajits, giant mythical ruins, ghosts, zombies, giant rats, giant crabs, mammoths, giants, trolls, goblins, silt striders, ash hoppers, ancient dwemer ruins and multiple fantasy food and drinks. Also, take of every mythical weapon. See all these things it lacks, it's almost like it's actually a different game entirely. Add on to that the wholly different style of combat, the fact you cannot become an un-killable god. Before making assumptions on a game and comparing the two based simply on the fact that they are both RPGs that happen to have swords and shields try actually giving it a chance. The similarities end at open world RPG.
Billy Hargreaves It was a joke on how closely the UI resembles Oblivion's.
It only barely resembles it though, it's the same colour and uses the same shapes, the way things are organised are entirely different. The HUD etc has also been compared to oblivion's but once again the colour and location of the bars is the only similarity. Oblivion for example had three bars, one for health, one magicka and one for stamina. Kingdom come has one bar for both. Kingdom Come has the whole character slots thing, oblivion has just selecting the item.
Color and location of the bars is the UI. Just because because they changed some minor things doesn't matter. They even stated that Oblivion was a huge influence on this "game."
you put 'game' like you have played it. The colour and location certainly isn't what makes the UI, look at the stamina and health bar. Oblivion was a major influence as they've stated but to compare the two when there are major differences would be wrong.
@3:30 its mentioned HDR will not be included? huh? Im pretty sure Cry3.8 does support HDR
I own the game but havent followed much in the updates since I want to experience the entire story for myself, but I have a question, if I kill someone in the woods and there is no one to witness it, will I still be insta wanted by authorities like in Skyrim or?
super excited for the game except the combat lets hope i can get use to it
One of the reasons i'm excited is not only the oldschool RPG feel but also the combat, i love the multidirectional meele combat of Mount & Blade and Chivalry, it's fantastic to see that implemented into a proper RPG with a story. (Mount & Blade does have a good singleplayer campaign thing but it's more sandboxy).
The game looks great, very ambitous, only problem is the combat looks bad.
I tried playing the Alpha a cou;le of years back and I remember finding the combat clunky af and not that fun. I understand its supposed to be realistic, but combat in a game is also supposed to be entertaining.
What was clunky about the combat? Are you sure that's the word you're looking for?
7dayspking your right, perhaps not clunky, but it felt stiff and very slow to react.
+Pav94an So unresponsive? I hope that improves before release as well, it's probably an issue with the mouse. This game was basically designed for the controller unfortunately.
7dayspking yeah, I tried using both in the alpha, and it was very sluggish. I think "For Honor" has the best medieval combat I have played in a game, would have been amazing if they had that combat with this open world.
Pav94an
It's because this is trying to be realistic, forhonor isn't
Kingdom Come and Mount & Blade 2 are my 2018 top games.
I was apart of the kickstarter campaign and have access to the beta and back then they said who ever was apart of the kickstarter has access to the game completely free, are they still honoring this?
dislike bcs this vid could be max 7 mins..
Please don't be the next No Man's Sky.
Don't hold your breath. Even the hype train resembles that of No Man's Sky.
Really? Are you a dumbass? Yeah it's hyped but so was Monster Hunter World and that didn't turn out like NMS
Its nothing like no mans sky relax
Well the difference was
NMS director: "It's gonna feature this and that and it's going to be so coool" (broken promises)
KCD director: "That orchestral soundtrack was not cheap, but in the end it was worth it, if the game sucks, well then we'll have at least good music"
Looks amazing, been following it for a while. But what's up with the conversations while there's no other characters around? Is it supposed to be inner dialogue or something? For a second I thought the horse was talking...
1nnu3ndo it was some people talking over the gameplay
i've been waiting years for this, now only 10 more days, i'm so excited
12 things to waste your time listening to someone else talk about. all of which have been stated elsewhere, gotta love the youtube age
Daniel Evans ...with added spoilers nonetheless
When will this come out? I hope this won't be a mess like For Honor. Online only games are pure shit, especially for us who have shit internet
It's an offline open world game.
February 13th!
Don’t Worry bc this is all offline single player rpg like Skyrim without magic
3 days now !
hoping it will be like your avatar
Does anyone know out of curiosity, is there a leveling up system and things like strength, persuasion etc
Yes there is, you level up skills by using them.
Kamtar yeah it's similar to skyrims level system
But I think youre health will stay the same through the whole game
Kamtar thank you all. 👍👍
You can also unlock some perks, just like Skyrim, for example, there is a perk that makes you do less noise while moving in the rain.
I'm interested in this, but not completely sold on it YET. Just found out about this game a day or two ago.
It looks like Oblivion
I reeeeeealy dont like the HUD
What does HUD mean
At least the HUD isn’t as bad as Metal gears survive’s one.
Gio Bumanglag Heads Up Display
They said mods will be supported. So give it a few weeks and there will be many HUD mods for sure.
Petr Šebík im on xbox one so mods probably wont be supported
I just downloaded the Pre Order on XB1 and its 21 gigs with a dlc that you get with pre order.
I can see the horses AI working against you, avoiding invisible rocks and not wanting to jump when necessary...hopefully they get it nailed down. Definitely looking forward to trying this game!
For all haters - This is a small budget game from small studio. Give them a chance.
Looks oblivion xD
Garrido Silva without all the magic and fantasy yes, the devs even say oblivion was a big influence wich I see as a good thing
Ikr Looks epic. Oblivion is regarded as the best overall Elder scroll game after all.
Well, Oblivion was one of the influences that inspired the art style. However this game is set in historical events and the kingdom of Bohemia actually existed, and is located in modern day Czech Republic.
ᛞᛟᛟᛗᛁᚾ if people don't know bohemia was a Kingdom then they should go take a walk
I hope not, that game was boring af
Jeez I can’t wait for this game! I just can’t help but get a bad vibe like I did before the first Fable came out and all the unfulfilled promises. I really hope I’m wrong.
I like the fast travel system also the layers
This game is not a big budget game it's less then like fifteen millione
5M i heard
2 million actually
Most the "big budget" games today have a bigger marketing than developing budget.
The game looks great but the voice acting is terrible
I thought the voice acting was quite good, facial animations could use some work though
Richard Wood voice acting sounds fine to me, I have a bigger problem with the writing. "He's armoured like a tank" tanks didn't exist in 1403.
That is not an in-game text lmao, its the voice of the streamer you dumbo
Guts The Black Swordsman wtf are you talking about you drip this video contains plenty of in game voice acting in it not that this is the only thing i have based my opinion on.
Richard Wood He may be talking abouy the whole "armored like a tank" line
Iv e been stoked for this one to be released ever since they publicly announced it. I really hope it's as good as it looks.
What are the difficulty? Standard easy medium hard?
This will be the next NO MAN'S SKY..... I love the idea of this game I also like the time in history that this game is presented.. but you can also tell this game will be extremely boring
How can you tell? I'm super hyped for this game and simply trying to find some flaws to keep my expectations realistic.
Too true
I can't tell yet. But this game does have possibly boring written all over it
WorldBreaker worldbreaker I've played the alpha/beta at a friend's and it isn't boring
Stop comparing that trash to this game you don't have a clue
proud owner of a copy of this game our neighbours, czechs had made (one time we all were czechoslovakians).
Hope it gets mod support, would love a full Robin Hood: men in tights conversion mod for it
Will there be a Housing system ?
I just hope that it's optimized well for pc, because i played beta and and it was mixture of fps black holes and crashes
They said vastly improved and that he t a was never optimized really and never updated
I have been sold for years. Literally, I bought the game years ago. Can't believe release is so close finally.
I’m a bit gutted it’s set in Czechland.
As an Englishman it would have been more entertaining if it covered the first barons war starting from the loss at Bouvines to the victory at Lincoln with the ultimate reward being the signing of the Magna Carta.
This feels like one of those games that on release 1080 ti's struggle to get 60fps :D
Will there be stealth?
Been excited for this one to drop for years!! Just hope the combat lives up to every other aspect of the game
is there going to be coop gameplay?
No, this is a completely singleplayer focused game.
Will this game be supported by nexus mod manager?
Mods will be supported can't say much more than that.
this comes out tomorrow and i really want to buy it, i am playing the witcher 3 at the moment however, and will probably get this once i am done, at least it lets me find out if its as good as it seems.
I was sold 4 years ago when I first heard about it and it's only gotten better since.
Pre ordered it 2 years ago for the beta. Loved the beta and so can’t wait for this game.
I wonder if there is going to be any wildlife animals you can fight/hunt bears, wolfs, etc.
Can confirm. I've only poached hares myself so far, though, so take that for what it's worth.
I wanna know if I shoot an arrow between the eyes of an enemy, will he die instantly?
Probably not. You can smack a helmet-less guy over the head with a bastard sword (overhead chop with both arms) and have him survive, so I doubt a poxy arrow is going to drop anyone first go.
MrMortull Where did the realism go?
Looking at other videos, it seems like you *can* drop a guy with one arrow... from stealth. Hmm, not sure what to think now.
MrMortull maybe implemented the Elder Scrolls sneak attack bonus
Wait, there's going to be mounted combat? I thought WH said that was cut because they weren't proud of the result?
It was cut from the beta because they didn't have it quite right, its the same reason they didn't have polearms
Is there character customization?
ReliX Entity no
How big is the map? That’s my main concern.
Just brought it, very rough around the edges but great none the less. Give it time for patches and mods and it'll be brilliant. Hope the game establishes a strong modding community, as good mods will make this game exceptional. Skyrim is still alive due to its mods, so hopefully this lasts just as long!
i've been waiting 4 years, so that i can wait an additional year for immersion breaking bugs to be sorted out. if there is one thing i learned from skyrim its that open world sandbox games tend to be filled with bugs after release. i dont want my first impressions ruined to the point where i dont finish the game.
Holy fuck just as university classes start again I find an amazing game to keep me distracted from my study. I'm losing whole days getting sucked into this thing :(
I've been waiting for this for like 4 years now, I'm fucking ready
I’m excited but not fully sold just yet.
This game comes out on my birthday I'm so excited
This year is a good year for games. Monster Hunter, kingdom come, RDR2, far cry 5... sooo many more. Ima be broke asf
For Sjws sake they should do a Stand alone DLC about yasuke and his journey to be the first Black Samurai.
sword play looks really stiff. good mechanic would be to use right stick to swing the sword. gives players full control. change up mid swing. block mid swing. perry, attack each limb. i just hope this game lives up to the hype. we don’t see many realistic medieval RPGs with no magic these days. could be the last time we see one of these kind of games
Already got it pre ordered on steam and I took Feb the 13th off.
I' really want a Kingdom Come: Westeros spin off of this game.
I'm definitely sold. Heads up if you want the game early then order from shopto. Fallout 4 I got 3 days early, dark souls 3 I got 6 days early.
