  • Disclaimer:
These rotations and playstyles, as well as the PoV, is intentionally designed so that almost any player will be able to bring it to the golem and achieve the set benchmark, even at ~300 ping. The rotation is also designed around being very playable in an actual raid scenario, where you will be required to do mechanics or move around, instead of pushing the maximum DPS possible on the Golem for the class. Experienced players will easily beat this DPS benchmark playing the same build as the benchmark is NOT grinded.
The concept of this build relies on the trait Fresh Air resetting the cooldown of Air Attunement whenever you hit a critical hit. The build will crit cap with Fury, and it is pretty much guaranteed that you will reset it as soon as you exit Air Attunement. You also give alacrity when you are Overloading, as well as when you complete an Overload, so this works out doubly well.
You always want to precast Glyph of Elementals, as well as Overload Air, before the fight starts. As much as possible you want to hit your precasted Overload Air, but that is not always possible on all bosses.
    The opener goes like this:
    Start in Fire Attunement
    Precast:
    1) Glyph of Elemental
    2) Air Attunement
    3) Overload Air
    And the main loop:
    1) Fire Attunement
    2) Scepter Fire 2 Dragon Tooth
    3) Scepter Fire 3 Phoenix
    4) Warhorn Fire 5 Wildfire
    5) Air Attunement
    6) Warhorn Air 5 Lightning Orb
    7) Lightning Storm (Glyph of Storms in Air)
    8) Overload Air
and repeat from step 1 as soon as Fire Attunement is off cooldown. Skip Warhorn Fire 5 Wildfire, Warhorn Air 5 Lightning Orb, and Lightning Storm if they are on cooldown.
Do note that Overload Air has a ~3.5s cast time, and dodging or swapping attunements during it's cast will interrupt it and result in a large DPS loss. You can still move and use skills with no cast time, as well as queue a skill to cast after. This is exceptionally important as you will be trying to swap to Fire Attunement as quickly as possible after Overload Air.
On top of the main loop, you want to cast:
    1) Scepter Air 2 Lightning Strike
    2) Feel The Burn!
    3) Flame Barrage
off cooldown. All of these skills have no cast time and can be cast anytime, even during Overload Air.
It may seem a little complicated when shown in text form, but the gist of the rotation is just:
    1) Fire 2 3 5
    2) Air 2 5
    3) Overload Air
and repeat. Overload Air takes ~3.5s to cast, and you can use the downtime to cast your 'off cooldown' skills.
    Your CC skills are:
    1) Scepter Air 3 Blinding Flash
    2) Warhorn Air 4 Cyclone
    3) Warhorn Water 4 Tidal Surge
    4) Scepter Earth 3 Dust Devil
    5) Warhorn Earth 5 Dust Storm
Scepter Air 3 Blinding Flash and Warhorn Air 4 Cyclone should be on your skill bar most of the time, and if you require more CC, you can replace the step of Fire 2 3 5 with either:
    1) Earth 3 4 5
    2) Water 2 3 4
with a preference of Earth 3 4 5, before continuing your rotation back in Air Attunement.
You will notice that the alacrity timing is a little tight for the first loop, and you might find yourself slightly dropping alacrity at some moments, especially if you do not have quickness at the start of the fight. To counteract this, use Earth 3 4 5 for your first loop instead of Fire 2 3 5, and you can continue to slot in Earth 3 4 5 instead of Fire 2 3 5 anytime you feel as though your alacrity is running low (can look at boon bar for confirmation).
