Unfortunately you've reached the point where you just have to practice more and learn the fights better to do more DPS. You can always try an even easier build, especially a ranged one, but there aren't many builds that are much easier than this already

Yup! You can actually get higher DPS just by standing in the boss' hitbox when you overload fire, as the burning bolts you get from swirling fire field will then all hit the boss instead of being RNG. There is also some optimization in terms of button priority which will increase the DPS, but I'm not really bothered to go figure that out. Combining all of that with actually proccing Relic of Fractal, you're probably looking at 35.5k ish maybe even 36k. It's probably going to get nerfed though.

This is our first time doing the fight with no healer, and we will be looking to resolve low writ uptime issue in the future!

Yup, definitely user error on my part, I'm not as familiar with the class as I would be ideally, so I played it very safe. It was our first no healer clear as well so we will be looking at ways to improve scholar uptime!

You need to get a relic, I recommend using Relic of the Thief, which you can get from the Power damage box or buy from TP. It is still around 40-41k DPS if you play it well.

Bomb kit and Aristocracy would definitely work. Your damage distribution would look different from mine, with higher percentage of confusion and poison, but lower bleed, and probably about the same burning, which might be better on some bosses. Personally I try to create a build that is similar to Snow Crows, so players who use my build can easily transition to the benchmark builds in the future!

The steps are basically identical to the benchmark, you'll just need to perform this rotation but faster and cleaner, with better animation cancelling and no dropped auto attacks. Do keep in mind this gets much harder the more ping you have, and just for reference the highest I've ever gotten is 37.6k with ~240 ping. Basically there are 3 professional buffs unique to Warrior/Spellbreaker you are applying on yourself, Attacker's Insight, Peak Performance, and Berserker's Power. By performing the rotation faster and cleaner, you maintain higher uptime of these buffs and can fit more higher damage skills within the window of the buffs, increasing your DPS. You can compare the icons (3 icons to the left of food and utility) on my Step 6 to the benchmark video, and you'll see very clearly that I'm losing uptime on those compared to the benchmark, resulting in a DPS loss. There might be more to it but AFAIK this is losing me the most DPS compared to benchmark.

Using toolbelt skills, specifically detonate mine field, in Photon Forge is ~200-250 DPS increase, but results in step 4 having a much tighter window, increasing the risk of overheating. As this is a beginner guide meant to lead into the full benchmark rotation, some optimisation steps I deem not to be worth the DPS increase have been intentionally left out.

@@TheDownstateEle a lot of peiple tank the Q2 nnw - nne when I think they should tank nne - e so north pylon does not take extra dmg by accident ❤️

@@xezzee i personally prefer NNW-E on regular runs, but due to Ele only problems tanking NNW-NNE works better for this very specific situation
