I had a fun tim making these but found it a little hard to get the leg casings right. They puckered a lot more than yours did… any ideas of what I got wrong?

Hey Bethany! You’re right, depending on the fabric the leg casings can be a little tricky. Sometimes if you make small snips around the curve of the leg openings it will help fold over according to the curved shape. Just make sure they are small so you have room to sew the elastic in place!

Never sewn before but going to attempt this!! Do you recommend washing the fabrics before making the bloomers to avoid it shrinking at all?x

Have you ever sewed the elastic down through the foot of the sewing machine, while your sewing the inside of the openings? Or sew it into it, then sew the seam closed? I'm still learning. Ha!
