I really love lots of Guerlains but I found Mitsuko very difficult to wear. It doesnât play well with my chemistry
@@PaolaBianka to me both are gothic like but Lâheure Bleue feels sad, itâs beautiful but sad... if you love violets you will love it. Mitsouko is a big chypre fragrance I adore it.... itâs so mossy lol

Loving your videos and agree with No 19, my signature daily fragrance. Portrait of a Lady is the perfumer that really makes me feel like a sophisticated grown female.
My mother wore L'Heure Bleu when I was a child and I waited for so long to wear a Guerlain, but a few years ago I purchased L'Heure de Nuit and I wore only as a personal fragrance for a dab after I washed my hands or first thing in the morning or at night before bed. I kept Guerlain, but my mother now adores YSL Opium. Beautiful line up, thank you
Thank you, Sam! Shalimar is for me what N.19 is for you. I just couldnât bring myself to wear it as much as I loved it from my memories of it as a girl. Once I got to a certain age and some life experiences, Shalimar just called out to me and I snatched up a bottle and felt at one. It doesnât smell exactly as how I remember it as a little girl, idk how that is to be avoided in the perfume world, but in this case I have to settle and enjoy the faint image of how I remember it.
Oh wow, yes it has changed sadly, which is why I've considered buying a vintage for later. Shalimar I'm not woman enough to wear yet, so I will get back to that beauty in my 60's, which I believe will be my golden years where I rock everything I couldn't before. Enjoy your beauty. đčXo Sam

If you have a chance to smell Prada Infusion dâIris, that will give you a good start. Iris takes on different character in different perfumes, but this one is the perfume I became acquainted and fell in love with iris.

Guerlain idylle is one of the scents my grandmother wears and she had the older bottle. I think I will buy her the new bee bottle for when I see her again when this pandemic allows it. Excited to watch the fatherâs day video, I am not so well versed with menâs fragrances and I want to exand my knowledge so I can give better gifts for my dad and others.
I have older bottle of Idylle and itâs absolutely divine

I have been binge watching your video, truly love ur personality! My question is and maybe u could do a video on it, is what is the difference of powdery to creamy. What I consider creamy would be Tom Ford Noir Intense and what notes to look for in these two differences. As I am sure many viewers may have the same problem, my nose isn't as refined in picking up notes, so to remember all the notes in perfumes maybe difficult. I watch alot of YTers but I don't know if their powdery means creamy. If their powdery is more like "baby" powder which is not what I am looking for. Hope this question makes sense! LOL
Thank you so much! So powdery literally means like baby powder when I describe it. That clean, posh scent. Creamy is more rounded, smooth like cream, often with an almost milky undertone. Sandalwood for example can be creamy. đčXo Sam

I love soft Powderly note I have hard time find soft powder already got angel dust and maison violet which kind of waxy . I found that Chanel 22 it a bit waxy to me . . Thank you
Ah, yes! Sorry I didn't see your comment before. Lipstick Rose is like the smell of a grandmother's glamorous lipstick, cosmeticy almost like smelling a glossy magazine, whereas Mon Parfum Pearl is a lot more white powdery with vanilla. They are entirely different. I would say LR is the 'waxier' of the two. I really hope this helps! đčXo Sam

One of my favorite fragrances is Guerlain Idylle, and if I was a woman the designer fragrances which would have been staples would include Coco Mademoiselle and No. 5
