Morticia is such a good mother, I love the way she understands and acept Wednesday the way she is, even if she is kinda strange and distant, Morticia loves her 😿💗
Morticia and Wednesday have a good mother and daughter relationship just things are quite complicated between them. Which is normal I feel like for teenagers and their moms.
My favorite relationships were the mother daughter ones. They nailed it. For us outcasts, that's exactly what they are like. I grew up with a critical mother and the moment were Enid was saying to herself everything her mother would say and then said "get out of my head mother" so fucking real. They nailed it. I laughed so hard at that. You grow up with an inner critic, an inner voice that was formed by her.
Yes. Sorry your mom was critical that must've been kinda tough. I don't usually share my story but, my mother bailed on my brothers and I when we were really young, she did come back for less then a year and she wanted me to do things exactly how she did but fortunately I already knew how to do those things anyway because I was 15 I believe and she would get so mad when I would do things how I was already taught and kind of have that I don't need to do it like you attitude, or knew how to do, but we also did have those special times too
İ understood her. Relationship between a mother and daughter is not always easy. İt has ups and downs. What matters is that they love and respect each other
but she ended up falling in love with Tyler then the next moment she learned that he was a hyde, istg I shipped them so hard and knowing that happened shocks me and breaks my heart. edit: yall i know he was manipulating her i was just in a hurry to write my paragraph 💀you dont need to tell me
She was manipulated for him, she doesn' t like him. A Hyde is manipulated to kill in the form of a monster, but he cannot be manipulated in his ideals. But it's a shame he didn't exist, he was a character.
She never fell in love, maybe cared more and trusted more but she only used him to get driven places and solve the mystery (and he gaslit her and tried getting her into a relationship with the favors he did (even said she sent signal to liking him when she never did) so he could get close to her and have her alive for the red moon), and then she owed him due to him getting hurt by the hyde, which was him. You can see it by how fast she went away from him and trusted her vision when they kissed. So leads me to believe she only was experimenting with the kiss and more amused than interested like Jenna said in an interview (she said Wednesday was only intersted in the mystery to not get outsmarted and not the boys and was rather amused than interested in them). Fits her character more to not be romantic with anyone either.
@@juliel2488 she definitely did fall in love though, she literally said "my first kiss was with a monster", "I guess I do have a type" having a type indicates interest 😭
I don't think she doesn't care, it's just part of her personality you know, I mean think about it she did anything in her power to find out who the monster was and saved the school, she's loving she just doesn't show it
The first time I watched the series, I didn’t like Catherine Zeta-Jones’ portrayal of Morticia, mostly because I love Angelica Houston’s portrayal way too much. She really embodied the character. But after rewatching it two more times, I started to like it a lot more. I also really like the relationship between Morticia and Wednesday. The relationship is kinda complicated but I feel like it’s realistic because Wednesday is a teenager. I can’t wait to see more of Morticia and Wednesday, as well as see more of their relationship in season 2. 😁🖤
Excellent series hope there is a no 2 ! All I want is the thing on my shoulder lol and that fabulous dance to goo goo muck 🎶 I laughed and cryed alot the best 💯💋❣️
One thing I disagreed with Addams Family Values on, is how they presumed (and presented) a case where Wednesday's romantic pattern would exactly mirror Morticia's, to the point where, out of nowhere, her normie boyfriend from the camp starts cosplaying as Gomez!
There is nothing wrong with women not wanting to raise a family or aspire to be a housewife. There are so many other options which women may choose how to spend their life.
I still prefer the original morticia. She was more grounded and balanced. This one acts more like a Capricorn, a bit dark and ominous and manipulative. The original is like a healthy Capricorn.
@@Rgunt8905 I'm pretty sure they put prosthetics on her nose cause it looks defined. Or maybe they deliberately called up her make up for the Morticia effect.... But yah her nose looks different
I don't consider the movie as "Adams". Something is completely off here, it is not the Adams family we knew. Feels like another "teenager series" under popular name to make more money, yet having nothing similar with origin, the humor is ugly and makes me smile out of pity what happened to the family i loved.

Eh, Anjelica Huston was better.
I agree. Honestly I get the vibe Morticia was just like Wednesday until she began a relationship with Gomez.

I think Morticia is the peacekeeper of the family. love her character.

Love is a strong word. More like she has a serial killer type. Less about caring for people, more about wanting to know how they did it.

This is honestly the best Morticia after Anjelica Huston, seriously Catherine is so gorgeous

While there would be some influence, going that exact on the model was creepy, and not in a good way.

Sad that Wednesday actually believes raising a family and being a housewife is bad. But that is her character after all.
not really bad, just not her
Honestly almost every teenage girl thinks that way.
