There has become over the past several months a HUGE pent up demand of buyers waiting on the sidelines for prices to come down or for interest rates to drop so that buying a home will become more affordable.

Jeremy, we want to move to MB this year, I'm not sure how to read the flood zone map. Do you have any videos about that? I want to be sure where to look for our house. Your videos have helped us a lot! Thank you!

Understanding thow FEMA maps is almost impossible! I try not to be an expert on them, but instead have some awesome insurance people I work closely with that if the home might be in an area prone to flooding, I reach out to them first and let them give the official info. If you'd like, I can share my experience on various areas and help to guide you and would love the opportunity to help you make the move here. Feel free to shoot me an email to info@jeremyblanton.com or you can book a call with me at jeremyblanton.com

Tell you what, though, SC kills me on second home taxes, 6% vs 4% on a beach vacation home. Still worth it to have others fund our mortgage but still, disincentive for investment. I live in PA in the southwest in an old borough and unimpressive neighborhood and my total taxes might be 2k/yr in Washington County so it could be worse. But….our weather…perpetual dreariness, probably can’t be much worse. 😂

Totally get where you are coming from on the tax thing! But for us who live here as a primary resident, I'm glad that it isn't higher on my primary! My investment property taxes are almost twice the amount of my primary home and the value is probably close to half on assessed value!
