Looks amazing for an 16bit game! They sure squeezed everything out of the Genesis giving this a 2,5D-ish look. There is a video of the programmer on YT where he explains what he did there.

I think during the end of the life cycle of the sega genesis, a lot of the games was manufactured in Mexico. Cheaper I guess.
