75 years since Douglas Munro paid the ultimate sacrifice

"Today marks 75 years since Signalman First Class Douglas Munro paid the ultimate sacrifice in Guadalcanal. Just 22 years old when he gave his life in combat, Munro volunteered to evacuate an expedition of trapped Marines and positioned his boat to provide cover and get 500 Marines off the beach.
