U.S. Coast Guard 234th Birthday
234 years ago, August 4, 1790, the Coast Guard was created as the Revenue Marine Service when the first Congress authorized Secretary of Treasury Alexander Hamilton to construct ten vessels, known as “revenue cutters,” to combat smuggling and enforce tariff laws.
In 1915, Congress combined it with the U.S. Life Saving Service and rechristened it as the United States Coast Guard.

Coast Guard Policy allows us to choose to wear the entire ribbon rack or only wear the top three. Keeps things a bit easier to manage.

How can I join the coast guard
To answer the question the title of the video poses…they do what NYPD does basically. Because they’re just police. They’re not a military branch because they’re not military. Until 2005 i think it was, they were part of Department of Transportation. Yes DoT like the sticker on your motorcycle helmet. Have never been DoD.
7/28/24 Question= How come I heard Testimony From one of your Coast Guards that the Const Guard were trying to help rescue People in the ocean, and they were Picking up People in the water who were alive and SOME WERE NOT? SOME MEANS MORE THAN ONE! But Police Chief Pelletier claims only ONE DEAD BODY was found in the water! What is the truth about this? Also, Local Eye witnesses, Kekoa Lansford and Pila Taufa said there were Bodies Floating on the water and by the Seawall! Does anyone know what's going on here?

Good day! Many commercial planes fly over the Northern Pole region as it cuts travel dramatically. They are known as Transpolar Flights. Also, if you have the means, you can travel to the North Pole yourself.
