Deserves nothing.. Jordan said Barkley was lazy, Pippen agreed with Jordan. Barkley deserved to put more into the game, then maybe he would've won a ring.

In today's NBA, where a 6'6" Draymond Green is among the best centers, I think that a 6'5" in-his-prime Barkley could be among the best centers in this current era. That being said, considering today's rules, style of play and size of the players, I think 6'10" Shawn Kemp would be a dominant center in today's NBA (he was among the best PF for several years in the 90's).

Barkley has the lowest career 3 point average in nba history. Also the changes to how long you can stay in the paint make him a lot worse as player considering that was his entire game. Back you down in the paint and get the rebound if he misses.
Imagine a prime Hakeem Olajuwon in today's league!

I haven't finish watching yet (still at minute 21),however this is a very nice conversation,charles barkley is a very interesting man in so many way ,very funny in inside the nba and his many apperance on other stuff,however in this podcast,Where he could expand his tought,instead of the usual "zing"that unfortunately common in sports media ,we can hear/see that his critic doesn't come from place of hate,but from logic and wisdom from playing and watching so many basketball

Giannis is 7 foot but he plays most like Barkley. Barkley they say was 6’4” but he stands next to Jordan and Kobe and he’s right there in height. So at 6’6” 250 he’s most like Giannis. He’d get the rebound and go coast to coast. Shoot the occasional jumper like Giannis. Rarely shoot a 3. I always use to wonder why guys couldn’t take 2-3 steps back and shoot the 3

The difference between MJ & the rest of these guys he didn’t need a lot in his bag although his bag was deep. He had that unique ability to create while in the air cause he jumped so high that even if u stop the 1st move after he seemingly committed to a move. He’d jump up in the air like he did in finals against the Lakers where u thought he was going to dunk then he went down and under for a layup
