The interaction earlier gives me hope that she's capable of learning to respect the listener's wishes, but I suppose I'll have to wait for whatever PlainJaneWriting has planned, if she chooses to continue the script series! I really want to see more of this series. I like both characters. Especially the listener a lot of other stories would have had the listener get all flustered or slightly annoyed when she pinned them to the wall. But having them get genuinely angry at her and her not just brushing it off afterwards I really do enjoy that. I also like how the listener technically won this encounter. So many audio role play stories always put the listener on the back foot and only ever give ground once or twice. It tends to make most listeners feel pointless and helpless which the story tries to remedy by giving pointless lip service. But here the listener manages to hold their own and doesn't get let around like a damsel in distress. Will also not being completely overpowered and nonsensically skilled. Having them not realized that the guards were down there was perfect in that regard also how they had no idea that the power was about to go out as well. All in all, I think it's going to be one of the better audio role play series out there.
YESSSSSSSSS yes yes yes, you've hit the nail on the head as to why I like this one. I think a lot of creators want to create this fantastic character to interact with, and so they show that by making the character much grander and more powerful than the only other person around, the listener. But that same formula over and over gets tiring, even for listeners who love powerful characters. When I read this script, I fell completely in love with the way the listener held their own and was genuinely an equal match for Captain Kismet, or better! Both of them are imperfect; they both make mistakes. And funnily enough, it's those mistakes that make them a good match, because they complement each other, making up for what the other lacks. On the other hand, they've both got things to learn. Kismet especially. She's on top of the galaxy! But if she doesn't learn to respect what the listener wants, she'll never get what she wants. And thankfully, the listener is more than capable of making that clear, and Kismet seems capable of learning. But it's going to take work, and that's on her... I really enjoyed seeing the listener get the better of a character who absolutely deserved what she got. And I'm on pins and needles myself, hoping there will be a second script so I can find out if Captain Kismet can learn to grow, and if the listener can learn to trust (hopefully once Kismet has earned it!). That was unexpected ending i like it also just how strong are we? That punch at 11:07 sent her reeling. And final i like this listener they have far more character usual as it says chaotic good they are pirate and act like one because the listener is tricky and violent which makes a fun listener we need more listener not afraid to throw hands but back on track the listener also has a kind side trying to stop a slave operation and by diolog has done other good acts before so ya well done listener.
This one has an interesting concept. I wonder what adventures await. I really like that the listener gets hold their own. Permission is very necessary. 😁

Also very cool how her facial expression changes with the plot events. Also, on a very random note, I couldn't help but read the thumbnail and think "now, I likes ya and I wants ya". It's a reference to a video that I suspect you might be too wholesome and well-adjusted to know, but if you do know it, there's no judgement from me 😅.
We can always rely on nightshade to bring us these amazing scripts like damn. Do you employ people to find the best written scripts off the face of the internet. Plus the voice acting was good, and little effect like the music, the robo guards voices extra makes this come together so well

I may have lost my left arm against a juvenile Rancor (without the possibility of cybernetic compatibility), but I'm a special ops commando in a lovely little Rebel Alliance. I'm not opposed to gaining a new ally, but not _that_ easily. Also, the dynamic with the submissive listener being willing to quip back and be cheeky is something I didn't realise that I'd relate to. Please include that in a future GFE audio.

Good morning! Your question is well-timed because I have plans for two audios that I wrote myself coming up soon in quick succession! As to whether I'm a method actor, I would say technically no, because real Method acting is a very in-depth process that wouldn't be practical for me as I try to put out two audios a week in my free time. However, I do sometimes describe technique as being "a little method" - and by that I mean I do my best to become each character as I'm performing them. I try to think what they would be thinking and feel what they would be feeling. And that's usually what people mean by method acting, not the specific process that the term technically refers to. I hope that answers your question!
So listening to this again i have a question about the ending. Did we kick her out of the pod and escape or did we kick her into the pod and launch her out?

So, a space pirate with delusions of grandeur is obsessed with me. Now how can I turn this to my advantage. Immediate thought is to lure her to an Imperial patrol and have them blow each other up, but I need to think bigger.

Good morning! Your question is well-timed because I have plans for two audios that I wrote myself coming up soon in quick succession! As to whether I'm a method actor, I would say technically no, because real Method acting is a very in-depth process that wouldn't be practical for me as I try to put out two audios a week in my free time. However, I do sometimes describe technique as being "a little method" - and by that I mean I do my best to become each character as I'm performing them. I try to think what they would be thinking and feel what they would be feeling. And that's usually what people mean by method acting, not the specific process that the term technically refers to.
