    So the INIU 22.5W power bank is only capable of 20 watts out of the USB C port. It would be possible to get 22.5 out if using more than one port. Like a USB C to C, and a USB A to C. Then the COMBINED output would equal the 22.5 watts. But 9 volts at 2.22 amps is only 20 watts.
    This video is an unboxing, first look, testing with meters, and a comparison.

    That advertised 22.5W is only for Huawei phones whose special protocol outputs 5V at 4.5A.
    Power delivery for every other device does 20W max.
    The Anker does 25W through PD and 22.5W through the Huawei protocol, 18W through QC3 and supports Samsung Super Fast Charging.

      yeah. I updated the description while this was uploading, that the USB C port is only for 20 watts. Good to know about the Huawei!! I saw 5v 4.5a and was curious!! I've never seen that before.

    Josh, good video, was curious about this one. Think your right the INIU is ok for iPhone, I have the Anker 10k duo, I spent 39 on it, like it better, think it’s a better choice for both iPhone and Samsung, thanks

    • @wwjoshdew
      @wwjoshdew  Před rokem +1

      Unless your phone uses a very specific protocol (like huwaei phones), the max your phone gets is 20 watts. So iPhone can charge 20 watts max. At least every single test in this video proved that, even though I was saying it wrong. I was even like “9 volts at 2.22 amps? That’s 20 watts max”. So basically there is a five watt difference between these chargers for almost all devices except Samsung and huawei.

    • @wwjoshdew
      @wwjoshdew  Před rokem +2

      Of course!!! The Iniu makes Apple devices kinda weird. It says “please unlock to use accessory”. I honestly gave away the iniu today to a family member. It’s a cheap device and you get what you pay for. It’s not bad. But it’s not good. It’s just okay. Check out my brand new video on the Nano 30W with built in usb c cable. It’s the best 10k portable battery out right now. I just posted it yesterday.

    Great Video!!! I have a comment: i saw you used type A with INUI vs type C charger with ANKER. Any particular reason? Do you think using the Type A might affect the power the Samsung phone is receiving?? Anyway, great video!!! For the $$$ I am purchasing an inui just as a backup, thanks my friend! Keeep the good work.

    • @vramleal
      @vramleal Před rokem +1

      I mean, i feel you didn't get super fast charge with the inui, because you used Type A charger instead of type c, that's why i ask.

    • @wwjoshdew
      @wwjoshdew  Před rokem +4

      @@vramleal I literally used both cables. This charger isn't capable of super fast charging. Only Huawei devices can utilize 22.5w which is considered super fast. Samsung is limited to 15 watts with this charger. Most devices will be able to charge at 20 watts. Iphone, Google pixel, and such. If you have Samsung and want more than 15 watts, get Anker.

      @wwjoshdew i have a samsung S22 ultra and want to purchase a good power bank, superfast charging is my #1, then probably size along with capacity. Not sure which Anker product i am purchasing, but seems like great product. I saw some powercore, that are 2-in-1, wall charger that converts into a powerbank, which to me is amazing, leaning that way. But this inui product is great value at 20~ bucs

      7800 mah at 4.7 volts. As it says 37wh. The 10000 mah is kind of manipulative because it's a measurement based off 3.7 volts instead many power banks do this even Anker I know the Anker slim 10000 mah 521 or something even says the actual capacity on the back in another language right under 10000mah Wh is a better measurement it doesn't change based on the voltage

    I'm a noob to this and just need a powerbank. See a lot on Amazon claiming 22.5W charging but this obviously proves them wrong. Are most powerbanks false advertising, or is it the phone not allowing the full potential? Also do I need a special cable to achieve these high charge speeds?
