Hello, My name is Prerna and I hold a post-graduate degree from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, India. My graduation though was in Engineering. Soon after I graduated, I realized that I'll be a bad engineer hence decided to switch fields and got admitted to a Fashion College. I have worked for 3 years with a top Fashion and Lifestyle Retail Brand of India. My passion for Fashion & Styling drove me into starting a CZcams channel. I totally agree with you on the tshirt point. It's too hard to find a good graphic t-shirt with good quality fabric from the women's section . I always buy from the men's section for tshirts, blazers etc.

I TOTALLY agree with the fourth point that Avoiding men's section is a Crime 😂 coz I remember looking for some comfy shorts in the women's section and no shorts had even a SINGLE pocket yet they were costly but I somehow stumbled upon a check print pair of shorts that looked cool, felt super comfortable and cost me not more than Rs.100/- and I got those from a mall in Max showroom... Surprisingly cheap superbly comfortable... and now I make it a point to check out the men's section every single time I go shopping

More power to you! I grew up with an elder brother, wearing his out grown clothes. My got to style has always been over sized t-shirts/sweat shirts with everything. You are quiet literally the elder sister I wish I had. I’ve learned so much about styling from you and imbibed a lot of your tips intuitively from being mindful while *ADDING* pieces to the collection to making the most of existing stuff. Kudos to you!! This is my favourite segment to hear about the style mistakes in the past...
I too have been there say like wearing the wrong size bra, ordinary cotton underskirt beneath the saree in times shapewear wasn't known to all, choosing the wrong footwear etc etc etc
The intro of the video was commendable. The idea of seeing one's way of dressing up as evolving self was true in all senses. ❤️
I am so glad you made this video and put the secrets out!! I almost had a wardrobe malfunction with that Zara crop top turned blouse and had been wondering how Prerna styles it so effortlessly. I had been cursing myself for buying that, now I get some idea about what can I do with it.

I totally agree with the third point. I order a top online but the chest area was tried with a knot. I thought there is a cloth behind knots but it was not fully close so if by chance the knots get loose my whole chest would show. So I added hooks to them it made me feel so comfortable.

hi! i have recently started my own style journey/started taking it more seriously and it’s all been so overwhelming 😅 but you’ve been a very nice resource, I appreciate you breaking it all down to approachable bits and keeping it very grounded. Honestly trying to build a functional wardrobe with good basics seems more difficult to me than exams 💀 I think your channel really drives it home that I’m not meant to fit into clothes and that clothes are supposed to fit me and be optimised for me

But I loved dark colours.. now I wear them confidently and get remarks that my choice of clothing is good.. also I don't exclude colour thinking it doesn't suit me.
