If God ever intended for man to hear a fraction of Heavan's music, we heard it through this man. God has a way of showing man what His beauty sounds like, and George Beverly Shea wished all to know. Again, God has his ways. Praise the Lord!!
This is the same for you and me...as soon as we die our souls go to either Heavan or hell immediately. And then on the day Christ returns everybody in Christ will rise...but that is only their bodies not their souls as well...

My husband loved George Shea had most his records , he is no longer with me but I love 💕 the songs they are so precious. I especially love my God and I , Great singer his music will live on , Enjoy heaven Br Shea and my husband !

Listening in 2023 from the UK. I've known all these songs, sung so beautifully by George Beverley Shea, from childhood is Sri Lanka. Now I am 78 yrs., old. It's a beautiful collection of songs. Thank you.

So happy to hear "manly" singing. There's something about this style (mouth open-wide, no hesitation, very little slowing down, not excessively emotive) that adds beautiful shades of meaning to the truths he sings - this is what it means to sing with conviction, to "sing lustily and with good courage" as Wesley says.
It's not about him but it's ALL about " HIM" completely agree with your comment, no showing off, pulling the song about, just plain singing, it's about the words.
The combination of him and hymn makes for a great time with the Lord.
i have loved his singing ever since i first heard him in the 60’s. Another man i love to hear sing hymns, Gospel, & spirituals is Tennessee Ernie Ford.
Glory to God,when listening to this beautiful voice sing to and about Our Heavenly Father, HIS SON and Holy Spirt only. Perfection is found in The Message, not the messenger. Thanks for preserving these delightful songs of Worship.

Listened to these Glorious Truths as a child after my parents came out of deep darkness . They THRILLED me as a child. They still THRILL me at 70! These Truths have been the backbone of my life. WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL JESUS!

He was invited to record non Christian music in the beginning of his career and he respectfully declined the large financial gain and the rest is history!!

@@jimsmith9819 I agree it isn't a good idea to call God a liar...but what I'm saying is scripture. Christ said to the thief on the cross this day will you be with me in paradise. It means that the moment he died he was in Heavan...so it means the same for him once he passed.
@@quezmarstudios6434 Jesus told the man on the cross, "i tell you today, you will be with me in paradise". Jesus didnt even go to heaven that day, do you think mortals would preceed him?

The BBC radio in his time , ofered Beverly Shea a contract to sing songs for BBC radio because he had a marvelous voice , and he sayed :" Can I sing songs about Jesus ? They Sayed :" No", Beverly replied back :" then No thanks ! I Will Sing for Jesus Christ only " 🙏
