Been awhile since I've played Create, but if my memory serves me correctly, another thing to remember is to use the stonecutter when crafting shafts, as you'll get I think twice as many? then if you were to craft them with just the crafting table
oh wow! i actually didnt know about that
you get 6 per andesite alloy when using the mechanical saw, which is 50% more than the amount you get when using a crafting table. the stonecutter recipe is not on base Create, could be from an addon tho
@@lcarvas Mechanical saw yes! Knew I was missing a detail.
oh neat! i think i have seen the mechanical saw recipe before, but its super useful info
@@lcarvas its a mechanical saw not a stonecutter
i misused this good tutorial as a cobblestone tutorial.
but in that is was also a very satisfying tutorial.
i now have 10 double chests of cobblestone.
thank you.
i love that! hope it serves you well haha
I liked the tree mining machine tip that one blew my mind
when i found out about it, i was so excited about it
two more tips:
1. in the mid game, you can make a mechanical saw minecart contraption with a saw, minecart and chest(s) attached, it can be placed by cart assembler and turned on which breaks the tree and collects all the items for you, it will also work like a shulker box. also you can mine 2x2 trees of spruce, jungle and dark oak by cutting thee logs of the bottom part.
2. you can get green dye by crushing ferns and white dye by crushing calcite.
those are some exceptional tips! i really appreciate you talking about alternatives to the sea pickles!
Love this tip video, very helpful. Didn’t know most of these!
glad it was helpful!
You can put deployers (or funnels) on millstones! This mods got so much to it
oh wow! i didnt know about the deployer part, but it makes sense
I just got back into creat and everyrhing felt so slow, this was insanely helpful and made it much more fun, thank you for the great video
thank you so much, i hope you enjoy the mod! its one of my favorites
Awesome, thanks!
but of course!
Good vidéo, keep it up👍
good video, i seen others in the comments say its a bit slow, but personally its a good pace
Thank you! i do appreciate it, but i think i could probably still talk a smidge faster, maybe not 1.5× faster tho
thanks for the tip it helped me out in my world for mining trees and keep the good work going!!!!
yeah that tip was one of my favorites
those were actually very good tips
im glad! hopefully i can provide more useful info in the future
Ive played create quite a bit but recently started a new world with it a few days ago and i would heavily recommend investing the time into make a hose pulley infinite lava scource as the acces to infinate lava has been incredibly useful especially with steam engines
i always forget you can do that
This is really cool! Keep up the good work. I hope you manage to overcome the CZcams algorithm's degradation of smaller Minecraft creators because your content is really interesting and inspiring.
i really appreciate that! ive been having so much fun just making these videos, so i dont mind too much if theres not much channel growth
Wow, the tree tip will help, I like building and I don't have the patience to wait for the trees on my Farm to grow (Large Pine) so just connect them...
yeah it was an absolute game changer when i learned about that
Here's a simple, self contained design for a contraption to make andesite casings. The base area is 4x4 and to guide placement, imagine your keyboard's number pad is the floor layer.
Step 0: collect 1 deployer, 1 mechanical saw, 1 mechanical belt, 1 hopper, 1 iron door, 1 lever, 1 gearbox, 1 small waterwheel, 1 water bucket, 2 barrels, 2 cobblestone, 2 andesite funnels, 2 large cogs, 3 small cogs, 4 shafts.
1. Place the gearbox on the [1] (remember to imagine your keyboard's number pad is the floor)
2. Stand on the gearbox and place the mechanical saw on [4], then place the iron door on [7]
3. Walk over to stand on the [+]. Place a shaft on [2] and on [5] and connect them with a mechanical belt
4. Look at the belt on [5] and place the deployer. It should automatically orient itself to poke the belt
5. Place a barrel on top of the gearbox and the other barrel on top of the belt on [2]
6. Place andesite funnels on both barrels, no need to shift-click. One should be on top of the saw and the other below the deployer
7. Put the water wheel on [/] and place cobble above it. Dig the floor block at [8]
8. Place a large cog above [*] so it connects to the water wheel
9. While aiming at the large cog, place a small cog so it connects diagonally left (above [9])
10. Look at the deployer and place a shaft, then place another shaft on the [6] below it. There should be a gap between them
11. Step back a little and place small cogs on the ends of the shafts from step 10, then place a large cog on the small cog from step 9
12. Walk over to the [0] and place cobble above the right hand barrel. Place a lever on that cobble so its above the left hand barrel
13. Place a hopper feeding into the deployer. The lever toggles both the deployer and the hopper
14. Its time to power it up! Walk over to the left a bit and dump your water bucket against the cobble above the water wheel
15. (optional/situational) Depending on what recipes are available for the saw, add a filter to the mechanical saw to stop undesired junk clogging the machine.
Now you can put andesite alloy (or brass or whatever) into the hopper, then put logs into the left hand barrel and in short order you'll have andesite casings in the other barrel. Customize it however you like, add more power, swap the barrels for drawers, or even expand it. If you were wondering what the iron door is for, its for safety, mechanical saws are quite deadly.
using the numpad is such a fun way of explaining the layout! i really appreciate that explanation too, its a good build idea
You are really underrated
thank you so much! im so happy for all of these nice comments!
thanks
usefull
thank you!
You deserve more subs and views
