    The fifth documentary in the series focuses on Two-Tone, which kicked off in the UK in the late 1970s. Includes contributions from Lynval Golding and Pauline Black.

    I was a kid in the mid to late 70s and living in San Francisco, I did not hear this kind of music over on the radio. Good and interesting documentary.

      I don't think it really hit the US until the 80s.

      I was a white kid living in the Mission from mid seventies till late 80's. This was our culture, music and dress code, but we where the only ones with a few other kids around SF. We got our influences directly from Europe cause we had close family ties and my older brother was moving back and forth. I remember funny reactions from blacks in the Fillmore when we'd show up to listen to soul music, we where the only whites kids on the horizon. We got along well with the Chicanos and the Blacks while surfing on our own cultural mix.

    Hi. 2tonefootage. I got into Mod fashion, I have Rude boys, Rude Girls, Mods, original Skinheads listen to SKA friends, that was in 1980s in Toronto Canada, I am still a Mod, I own 2 Fred Perry shirts, I do have The Specials on CD, DVD, I got to see in person The Specials in concert in Toronto, I heard this kind of music from my Uncle, my Uncle talk this music a lot to me. The Specials in concert is Brillant. I went to London, UK, I heard SKA from Jamaica , 2 Tone SKA at www.modfatherclothing.com
    when I was in London, UK in September,8th-18,2017, I enjoy it when I was at The Modfather Clothing Company at Camden Stable Market in Camden Town London, UK.
