That's the main thing with a lot of these tricks, fooling the audience into thinking the magician is the one doing it. Most of the "tricks" are either slight of hand, "we hired some twins," "There's a rope that's hard to see," or "turns out girls can fit into surprisingly small boxes."
Yeah... it just a great package!!! Skilled magician, stunning assistants, wearing next-to-NOTHING, (and doing all the hard work!!!) And best of all, Mitch Pileggi on voice over, at his cheekiest, most innuendo-filled BEST! Bloody marvellous!!!!!!!!!

Um, I wouldn't. Flash paper is easily accessible online & is MADE for this sort of thing - it quickly ignites, causes a big flash of colour (I believe you can even choose from a few different colours, but I may be mixing up magic products, heh heh) & most importantly, burns away extremely quick with little to no residue/ash left behind. Just dampening normal typing paper with some form of high-proof alcohol is...not a good idea.
So in this show the narrator always stresses that there are no camera tricks or trickery. But wouldn’t using the camera’s limited field of vision count as a camera trick?

The burning paper trick seems overly complicated. Just make the burn paper into a pocket, and have the note inside at the start. Then, you could do all sorts, like saying you can use fire to turn regular tissues into money, by starting with it crumpled, and then burning it. The burning part would then still work exactly as it did here.
