At the time this was recorded she was exactly 14 and a half years old, this girl is a true babymonster.
This was before Haram debut and now her stage name is Rami. There are reasons for the change since Haram in Arabic means forbidden and I think that YG (the agency that represents Haram) didn't want to have an issues when they debut. But Rami is very special not just in K-pop but as an artist. She arranged the melody and this isn't the first Jazmine Sullivan song that she covered during her evaluations while being a trainee before debut. Also, keep in mind that she was 15 when this was recorded and her vocal skills have improved since then.
The rest of the group is also special with vocal talents that is some of the best in K-pop. The members name are Ahyeon, Asa, Chiquita, Pharita, Rami, Rora, and Ruka. Each one of them have their own charm and their skills for performance is very polished. The group BABYMONSTER debuted in Nov 2023 and they have been putting out music. Many people that have followed BABYMONSTER when they were announced wished that the company that manages them would have gone a more R&B route with the girls.
The whole group is mind blowing since they are so young but they are also so talented.
There is still time for more music. I hope to react to the others soon.

Rami is special. And only 16 now. She will grow into a full-blown music monster (in the good way) for sure. Her skill level is just so high already.
And that's how you secure your place in a kpop group. Before this performance, Haram (known as Rami now) said she wanted to sing something that would show the judges that she's irreplaceable and she did just that. She's been going viral several times pre- and post debut for her vocals alone, and became the FIRST EVER k-pop trainee to chart on the Billboard Hot Trending Songs Top 10 for her cover of Pick Up Your Feelings, and I love that for her. Thank you for your reaction and for giving Rami her flowers.

Haram added lyrics and melodies for the bridge by herself for the Last Evaluation's solo performance because she wanted to portrayed how precious and irreplacable she is in musical expertise. 1 month perid to do these - selecting song, work her modifications together with producer, and practicing - Haram did all these activities and she was just 15 years old, and the result had been showing here. 🥰
All of Babymonster members did such kind of these activities the same direction but with self identity. 🥰 How perfect they all are fit the name baby-monster.

She wrote the little bit in Korean herself. This was an evaluation for a spot in the group, so she wanted to showcase that she could do that.

Haram has changed her stage name to Rami. And yes she is one of 3 High range vocalists in Baby Monster. On Knowingbros channel she declared that she is Baby Monster's YG appointed vocal leader.

Rami's vocals is already different from other idols. Not just how versatile she can get, but also her voice tone. I can distinguish her voice clearly if she was to be in those singing mask show or something.

I found Jazmine Sullivan's versions after hearing Rami's interpretation and was blown away.
What struck me was that it was incredibly daring for this girl to attempt to perform such a powerful and difficult piece of music.

Bro this cover went to #8 on Bilboard Hot Trending Chart within just couple of days. When she performed it on Last Evaluation, probably everyone who watched it just said what just happened.
I have watched lot of reaction video on this performance but only few people know this song & others didn't know that how much guts you need to have to cover this song.
I was scared for her but she killed it! Very impressed!
The crazy thing is that as awesome as this performance is-- and it is amazingly awesome, she isn't even the one considered by most to have the most impressive performance from this section of the show. Check out Ahyeon's performance of Charlie Puth's Dangerously. Both are ridiculous performances and the rest of the group was literally right behind them two as far as quality performances go.
YG encourages their trainees to make a song their own when they cover a song.
This is why it is common for their trainees to sing the song they own way and not do a 1 to 1 cover of the song. So, the trainees will add their own lyrics to the song and/or to adjust the flow of the song to better fit their singing style.

One because they're still young af
Two because they're still constantly growing up when it comes to developing their own identity, so at times your expectation might gonna hurt your wishful thinking, especially when they didn't do the justice for your fav songs/artists
