I think YG will treat her well since YG himself said that Chiquita is only one year older than his daughter. So he sees Chiquita and the rest of the girls as his own daughters.
CHIQUITA has been on TikTok and CZcams since childhood in Thailand. She is so comfortable performing on stage anytime, anywhere, no pressure at all!
Blackpink are their "big sisters" their seniors...& that's why LISA & JENNIE were around em.

Fun fact . They already sold out their first fan meeting in japan . I don't know the exact capacity of the arena , but i think it's about 15k to 20k seats. Impressive amount.
There Fan singing event in Bangkok sold out so fast that they made another one the day after. That sold out the day the ticket was on sale too. They could sellout a stadium if they had the music for a full show for sure.
in Japan the capacity was 30 k it was sold out for two days

Well, a very very awesome point made at the end.... But, YG Ent is probably THE most experienced agency in korea when we talk about "kids" becoming the "idol", from G-DRAGON to AKMU to IKON to certain extent Blackpink too as they had many pre debut stuff which they did when they were under 16, then Treasure and now Babymonster, YG always had someone who is under 16 but became famous (and by famous I mean Very Very famous, even in other k-pop Idols...) so they do know how to handle this situation and that's exactly why I'm very confident that these girls are in safe hands
YG Entertainment has the history of debuting minors and the history of treating them better than than the majority of other K-POP companies.
YG Entertainment was the first company to employ dedicated staff that just ensures the support and care of their trainees. This staff is different than their manager staff, which handles their artists, and is trained to handle and care for minors. Other companies typically just use their manager staff for their trainees, some of whom are not trained or suited to handle minors.
@@joenull5945 Exactly.... I've been following YG since 2008, so I know how capable they are in treating their minor trainees and idols.... Other companies just tend to ignore this fact that you should not treat "minors" like adults just for the sake of some profit. YG is different, and that's exactly why they managed to keep their old fans with them
YG has debuted a girl group every 7 years:
1st was 2NE1
2nd was BLACPINK after 7years & now after another 7years here they are the MONSTERS OF THE WORLD: BABYMONS7ER
YG girl groups:
2002 = Swi.T (1st gen K-POP)
2003 = Big Mama (1st gen K-POP)
2009 = 2NE1 (2nd gen K-POP)
2016 = Blackpink (3rd gen K-POP)
2023 = Babymonster (5th gen K-POP)
They are in good hands at YG. YG himself basically said that he sees the group pretty much as his daughters and that it's always at the front of his mind when he thinks about how to produce them.
That's because his daughter is about the same age as some of the members.... Even if it wouldn't have been the case, YG is WAYYY more experienced in handling idols who are minors, I mean GD debuted when he was 13 under YG and since then we've seen YG debuting at least 1 minor in almost every single group/duo
I love their reactions,🙏 I hope they then react to the 8 episodes of LAST EVALUATION and to YG PRODUCER EP 1, which was released yesterday, May 8, 2024, where they show how the song SHEESH was made in the recording studio

Btw on their lunch with Lisa, they spoke all 3 languages Korea, Thai and English. Fyi thai Meat Tower is called "Tom Saeb" (pork rb). It's so spicy tho.
Incredible talent. Baby Monster just left Gimpo airport in Korea for Japan fan meet and the crowds was enormous. Quite a contrast from Asa and Ruka arriving in Korea after their holiday in March. Even then the 2 girls were surprised that there was a small group that greeted them as they arrived.
Also keep in mind that at Chiquita's first evaluation she was no longer in Thailand but in Korea where she didn't know how to speak Korean. Besides participating in her training she was on a crash course to learn how to Speak/Read Korean. Pharita is also from Talent so she did have her to help her. I think Chiquita had basic knowledge of English.
I get the kid thing. She moved from Thailand on her own at probably 12. But they do look after them. You see her room. They have dedicated staff just to help and check in on them. I don’t think it’s bad if that’s what they want.
exactly ppl always have a pitty party about young idols but its THEIR CHOICE to join the program so..
No one forces them to audition, sign a trainee contract, and move to Korea.
In addition, they are free to leave at anytime for any reason.
Unlike other companies, YG Entertainment is know to not impose any penalties for voluntary withdrawing from a trainee contract or impose a trainee debt system to pay off all the training & support they received as a YG trainee.

My understanding is that the foreign school-age members of the group have tutors provided to them for various subjects. The Korean members (Rora, Rami, Ahyeon) also continued attending school during their trainee period. Now that they've debuted as a group, they may also switch over to a tutoring system. Chiquita is the youngest, but she's actually only a few months younger than Rora (both are 15 now), so she does have other members in the group who are close to her age. IIRC, Rami and Ahyeon are both 16 now. As for having a support group, the group itself seems to provide that (probably better than what a typical kid in a typical school setting would have). For Chiquita, it's like she's surrounded by a bunch of super-talented older sisters who all love her. That seems to be one of the key things that YG looks for when forming a group like this: (1) talent/ability; (2) looks/personality/stage presence; and (3) character/team EQ/compatibility with the other group members. I imagine over the years there have been some very talented trainees at YG who didn't make the grade to get into one of the groups just because they weren't the type of person who would care about and look after the other members of the group.
The foreign trainees also attend remote/online schools that are accredited in their home countries.

Meat Tower… go to Thailand and order “leng saap”. As far as I know in Korean society, age is still used as the “pecking order”, regardless of status. So she will be raised to respect her elders. Age is sort of important in Thailand, but she will definitely be raised to respect her Thai family and parents. It’s those types or environments that will keep her grounded and allow her to be loved by the World without it distorting her Worldview and where she fits into it.

Why wouldn't YG know how to handle a 14 yr. Old? He discovered and trained Lisa at the same age. It's not unusual for girls to audition for YG at ages as young as 11 (Ruka) and 10 (Ahyeon). You should check out a video from Chiquita's previous group "Red Rose Thailand. You'll be surprised.

Well i must say they are in good hands YG might not be perfect but as i followed them since BigBang era being trained under YG is a big preveliged he was harsh before he doesn't want babying them but he trained them to be strong mentally & physically one good thing is YG didn't let his trainees pay instead it's all free from every lessons well kpop companies in Korea trainees are not free they have to give back when you debut plus YG in all KPOP companies also paid higher their artists than the company gets that's why all former & current YG artist are rich also YG made such big names in KPOP like G-dragon, BigBang, 2NE1, BLACKPINK etc.even Psy because of Gangnam style which PSY & YG made this song still unbeatable
