I think sex is defined first by the person, then by the people getting physical. I’m queer & I’ve come to find that similar to the phrase “hooking up” sex can mean different things to different people.

Bisexuality includes (and has always included) transgender people because "trans" is not a gender, it's an adjective describing a gender.
Even though the label is BIsexual (bi meaning two), bisexual people can (and often do) experience attraction to two OR MORE genders.
Pansexual describes having attraction or the potential of attraction to all genders, which can lessen confusion about who is "included" in your scope of potential partners.
Some bisexual people are pansexual in practice, but choose the bisexual label for a multitude of reasons (personal preference, historical and communal ties, etc).

Someone correct me if I’m wrong. Based on conversations that I’ve heard on other podcasts, it seems like using they/them is safe if you’re unsure. That way you’ll never misgender someone.
I’ve even heard parents default to this when they’re keeping their kid’s identity private online. They don’t use their name. They just use they/them pronouns.
Yes. For example, if you got a resume for 'Taylor' w no picture attached, you'd naturally say 'they.' We do this all the time without even thinking about it. They is inclusive when you don't know

You all have a misunderstanding about what asexual means. While there are some asexual people who are completely uninterested in sexual activity. There are several different types of asexual people. One type of asexual is "romantic asexual." They aren't necessarily interested in sex per se; they are interested in romantic interaction with another person.
You should also be aware there are some asexual people who aren't celibate. Being celibate and being asexual aren't equivalent states of being. I know, it's complicated.

Yes queer is not seen as a negative, it's the Q in LGTBQ+.
The respectful thing to do would be to address people the way they want to be addressed. Your agreement or lack thereof has nothing to do with it.
If your name is Monte and someone calls you Mondo that's disrespectful. If I identify as biracial you keep trying to call me another race that's disrespectful. If I'm a doctor and you keep calling me a nurse that's disrespectful. If I identify as non-binary and you keep calling me a different gender that's disrespectful.
