I love this video! I think that it is very common for witches and/or pagans to avoid working with male deities and archetypes simply because our society and the main Abrahamic religions have historically shown us so many toxic examples of masculinity, and there's really no escape from it. Nearly everything around us is steeped in patriarchy and romanticism of male violence as the ideal peak of masculinity. Working with nature and abundance gods has been a very healing experience for me in unpacking my own relationship to masculinity and helping to reshape it into something healthier. I'm glad other people have had similar transformational relationships with masculine deities!

What a wonderful spread you created for working with the Dagda. Thank you for sharing your spiritual experience. Cailleach and Skadi intrigue me. I don't have a specific Yule deity. As a December baby and winter being my favorite season it makes sense for me to be drawn to their legends and stories.

I love this spread! I shall give it a go. I work primarily with Brigid but she often introduces others. I do feel I need a balance of energies and this is what I had planned to explore in the coming year! How timely is this!❤️😀 xx

Always fun to see you working on your art. I'd be curious about which tarot card archetype you might associate with the Dagda... Happy New Year, Candy!

Now this got me thinking. I’ve decided it’s judgement I associate with him the most.he has that idea of renewal and rebirth in the staff and the changing of seasons. Plus renewal at the couldron. Linking him to a Santa archetype there’s also the judgement of good or bad list?
