One day I’ll be bragging about being one of the “earlier” subscribers to your channel. Your talent as a bike mechanic and content creator FAR exceeds your current number of subscribers. Keep up the great work

I got myself a gravel bike last year. I love the fact that I can ride for hours with no cars or pedestrians that I need to worry about. Please keep us posted regarding the new Bearclaw build! Looks like an exciting project.

Riding along car-free roads is one of the best parts of riding a gravel bike. The Bearclaw will be a fun build and even more fun to ride. I can’t wait!

I do love the grav grav bikes. Lately I've been riding a trek marlin 29er. I put a rack on that baby and some alt bars and it's been awesome

That’s a great example of how XC, or even Trail, MTBs are blurring the lines between gravel bikes. I can see how that Marlin would be awesome!

Great videos and voice-over. I got a black v3 wolverine frame and wanna built before summer. I was so happy seeing that you fitted 700x50 and I would love to know whether it is super tight or is the useuall mud clearane around 5mm left? Did you have to slide the dropouts to 445mm to fit the 700x50? Cheers from Berlin

Thanks, Thomas! I didn’t have to go the full 445mm, but nearly. I focused on having correct chain length for my setup and adjusted the dropouts based on that. If the tires didn’t fit with my chain length, I would have gone with a skinnier tire. There’s not room for fenders with this setup, but plenty of room for mud clearance. I think I might do a question and answer video this weekend and include your comments and questions. I’m sure others might want to know the same. Thanks for watching, Thomas!

@@GreatEgretAdventure Pretty cool! Thanks for the help and maybe you can show the exact millimeters of mud clearance because a lot of people are asking this over and over on the internet. Looking forward for your upcoming vids. Soma says about the 700x50 cazadero: The 700c version willl fit our Wolverine on a 18mm inside width rim. www.somafab.com/archives/product/cazadero-700c-x-50-tubeless-ready
