@@Readysetgo2007 husband?! When you dealing with serious money you have accountants. I think she didn't get that being in Spain she would be considered a resident and you would have to pay taxes on your income. She got caught in a technically. Husband what does he know?!

@@Readysetgo2007 it was a residency issue. She was in Spain not all the time and was not aware of how much taxes she needed to pay. She receives residual income on her music etc. In European countries the tax are high for high income earners. So they said she owed taxes to Spain almost 8 million Euros. They negotiated and sorted it out. So only did that guy broke her heart when she realised that his mistress was eating her special jam or something like that. Living with him in Spain costed her money. Yikes!!!

Because men promise, becasue she fell in love and supported his career. This is what partners do. I had a man who supported my dreams of going back to school and when he could he helped me financially. Then I helped him. This is how it is to be done. The problem is when the other person is selfish and a narcisist. Like always, their true colors show later on in the relationship. Big time loser MF.
No girl. U were in a love bubble to be with the man you loved. He was too young to be in a long term relationship. He was an immature a*hole and your love bubble burst. People forget that love does not mean sacrifice. Do you and still be happy. Don't think that someone else can make you happy.
It is unfortunate that age makes a difference when it does not for males who run out with younger girls. Most men are immature by nature but yes, she fell deeply in love. The songs she wrote to him are amazing, she even wrote a song for the in-laws and sang in Catalan, the losers only mistreated her left and right because they are racists MF who never wanted a Latina for their son. She endured so much for that men that the only good thing he did was being the donor of her children.

After 11 years if a man don't marry you obviously something is wrong, I think his mum disapproved of their relationship because of the age gap she didn't like it so his mum called the shots she was happy when they parted.

Downgraded? She was in a long-term relationship before Pique with Antonio de la Rua who became like a manager to her... but also tried to claim that he was responsible for her career and her image. He even tried to sue her after they broke up...
So I don't think she necessarily 'downgraded', but in hindsight she could have done better... But love is blind; we're all forced to deal with it when it falls apart. 💔
