How dare she say anyone can fight this because she is. Not all of us have the money for proper healthcare like she can. Meds alone is sky high.
She means well n is a lovely person. I understand that she has more access but it wasn’t handed to her. At least she is bringing awareness to the disease. I suffer from a bad form of Sjogren’s & it is confirmed with a lip biopsy. All autoimmune disorders that are rare are difficult. Even if Celine has the money the meds are difficult on her body I’m sure. Just bc she looks better I’m sure it physically took lots of energy to get ready. Her suffering may help others. Bet many more find a dx to their suffering & a good chance that SPS is higher in numbers than thought. No doubt the money helps to also alleviate everyday chores. Have the best day possible.

I'm 50 - but I'm a realist. After such a long career break and with this diagnosis, dreaming of a strenuous stage comeback will remain a dream. Only when she accepts this will she be able to concentrate on the important things in life. And that's not the "career" but the family and friends. Enjoy the good days. As harsh as it may sound. Her husband was ill for a long time before his death. I assumed she could not accept his faith. She was completely dependent on him. 😢. Hopefully she can find joy in her boys and live again. Wishing her the best.
