Yes! One on You-Tube. It looks like a plane except there is no propeller and it flapped. Flight was a few hundred feet, one meter off the ground. It used a 24 hp ultra-light engine. A single seater, with pilot.
Very nicely done. It's looks very similar to what Karl Herzog did in the 60's and 70's. I'm sure your familiar with his extensive work on Ornithopters. Personally I'm just now getting into it. My one question is for all that are into Ornithopters is why no one seems to look past the main wings? The tail of a bird plays a very important role in flight. As well as the shift of cg during flight. I'm sure all know this but it seems to be tossed aside or disregarded once the main wings are made functional. Have you given much thought to the tail and making it a functioning part of your Ornithopter? again - nice build. I'd love to see her fly.
Well, I'm by no means an expert, but you can add all sorts of clever solution to wings, to do the functions that birds do with their tails... Birds simply don't have the ability to perform all that motion
that thing fly? will be good to see it, I like ornithopters, since Da Vinci the concept exist I know some person that are very interested in this thing: the Duke Leto Atreides :D :D
Awesome ornithopter!. Thanks for sharing

If there were, I'd already be saving my money for one.
Super cool. Wish I could see the schematics to see how it works...

Great work! Can it fly?
beautifull
well does it fly?
Everyone is asking: Does it fly? But does it blend?
Are you making the building plans available for sale? I am planning a puppet for which your mechanism would be perfect.
The tip of the wing has too much tension during the up stroke, notice how It doesn't fold past 38°?
It proved completely unable to lift even that small desk
