He was so tiny! I just love him.
2020 was such a tough year for you Joey. You lost your mom. Left alone. But then a miracle happened. A call and you found your home. Feedings, caring, grooming followed. 2020 was such a tough year for us. We lost a lot. We had to stay home. But then a miracle happened. A live stream and we found you at your new home. Feedings, caring, grooming we followed along. We fell in love with you, adopted you as our own. We watch you sleep. We grew anxious with all your meeps. Through a glass door, in the middle of the night, you could not believe your eyes neither could we. More like you than we. They even brought a ball as a gift. Soon you left your den and joined the rest. Your new family of other otters your friends. Oh Joey Joey how we love you we miss your baby days we are sad. But watching you grown up with adult otters from now on we are

Thank you THE JJTao. for this beautiful video. I'm a bit speechless as I'm crying. Watching Joey helped me go through recovery from back surgery. He's such a joy to behold and he holds my heart forever.
Been following Joey daily since the 1st of August 2019 when he was a few weeks old, now he weighs 30 lbs, a big boy! Sea otters are not grown until 3 to 4 years old, the males can get near 70 lbs. The Marine Centre, carers and all the volunteers do a magnificent job with all the 7 otters there, the oldest is 8 yrs, Joey will be 6 months Jan. 3, and the next to Joey is a year old, three 4 yr olds and a 5 yr old I believe. Joey is in with them now, difficult to even tell which one is him, he's gotten so big, baby Joey all grown up.

Meep y'all!! Joey really took to being cared for so thrilling to watch him grow and ponder how soft and squishy he must be. Comments were always posistive and full of joy.
Alright Im gonna have to go ahead and admit. I bawled my eyes out. Joey was such a blessing to watch grow from lil potato floof into a thriving lively otter. He is a wonderful addition to the family of otters at this aquarium and has blessed many lives. I LOVE YOU 💘 JOEY

Sniff, sniff....our baby has grown up and is now part of a wonderful otter family. So glad we have been able to go on this journey with him and his awesome caregivers at MMR and Vanaqua! While I miss those first few months of all Joey all the time, I love that he has friends to play and cuddle with now.🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦

Oh my gosh, that was so beautiful. I discovered joey in August and this just brought back all those wonderful memories. I tried to fight the tears but I ended up bawling. I just love it and the best tribute to all the caretakers.

Lovely video, i watched Joey from the start and still watch him, he was needed in 2020, i watch him every morning, he’s a positive U-tube experience. Everyone who looked after him should be proud of the work they have done.
You guys!!! This was beautiful! Got all teary remembering all the good times these past few months. Joey became a great cheerleader during our darkest moments and I will always be thankful to that little guy and the incredible staff, volunteers, moderators and fans!!! I will be forever grateful for not only the person who heard baby Joey and called for people to rescue him, but also the whole team of the Vancouver aquarium who are always looking after little Joey!! You guys do so, so much and I am so grateful! The story of how he ended up here is just so sad, but God was looking out for him 🥺🙏🏼 He knew that you would be safe in the hands of professionals. So, thank you, for looking after little Joey. He is so precious and I am so thankful for everything you guys have done for him!
