Just saying.... best games i played in fight category was the ones with middle air recovery, and fast step to avoid hit.
The worst was the ones were you fly after get hit and just keep get combo in middle air without any chance to recovery or do anything.
Naruto and DBZ (bandai games in general) have real good recovery/flee/counter mechanics.

I don't like the concept of a 2 vs 2 fighting game, but the art, graphics, animation, and sound effects are first class. If it was Beat em' up, I would play it.
Hopefully they just add more modes and options for 1v1. Or free for all.
The approach is unique though we have plenty of beat em ups….. double dragon is coming out

Getting Aggressors of Dark Kombat vibes here. That game had probably one of the most annoying AI this side of Arto f Fighting 2....

everything is fine. but character sprites looks awful. they just don't match to background, splash arts, promo and in general the look bad rendered and plain.
if the were "pixelated" like in third strike or mvc2 it would be 100x better
