For this use an electric powered machine would be prefered over an engine powered if you ask me. My old man bought an electric platform car back in the 80s. To hold a block of silage (from the blockcutter). It was small enough to go through 1m wide doors and feed the cows. Instead of pulling those 800kgs with your back and knees. Forward 30some years to 2018 and we now have a new barn for horses and that same little wagon is used to hold a square bale of straw. It's so simple. A starter motor powers the single wheel and just a normal 12v battery is used. (A semi traction is better). Bought for 4000 dutch guldens (something like 18/1900 euros). That piece of kit is the cheapest on the farm i reccon 😅.
Your Dads saying that it takes 2 men to clean down but it still takes 2 men even without the machine 1 to rake and 1 to put lime on so I can’t see the problem just my thoughts Dan.
Good Demo video Dan 👍 machine does a cracking job of cleaning the beds , loved your dads view on the machine great machine but will need a cost negotiated 🤣
Hi Dan, very good review and walk thru. Looks great machine . We use milled straw (after seeing it in your channel!) and bed up twice a day with a mounted shellbourne cubicle bedder.
Interesting video Dan. Looks like a good bit of kit especially if it has the cowfarmerdan seal of approval! What’s the story with the old JCB in the background?
Looks a good bit of kit Could they mount some sort of spreader for the lime Do you know how much electric cost to charge it ?no solar compared to the price of petrol?
Could they mount a lime applicator on the bonnet to put the lime right behind the brush and it would be doing two jobs in one pass?👍

You will be able to sweep the door step for the wife now Dan😂
Nice little machine, especially if it makes life a bit easier
Looks superb, aside from the noise you also don't have the fumes, it really does sweep them nicely.
Been brushing off by hand for 25 years twice a day. Going to have to look for something like this soon
Get a lime blower next

Thank you for the video Dan and Happy Easter to you and your family. 🐣 🙂
Great video Dan. Looks like a very useful machine & battery powered is a bonus with you having solar power. Enjoyed watching 👍🏼👍🏼
Very handy tool I can see the benefits also another good video 👍

Good bit of kit.
Need a machine that cleans and limes like the Bobman. Our machine cleans limes and beds with sawdust in one pass.
RS Agri have a machine that does that, this is not trying to be a Bobman.
They should develop a model that sweeps and beds so it can be done by 1 man
RS Agri have one in their range.
Looks a good bit of kit

Do you know how much electric cost to charge it ?no solar compared to the price of petrol?
No, we have no way of measuring how much it costs to charge unfortunately.
Do you only clean the back half of the bedding stand?
Yes.
As long as the front half is clean and dry it gets left alone.
If the batteries run flat , can it be push, freewheel, back for charging ?
No, it won't freewheel.
There's a battery charge indicator on the switch panel so no need to run it right flat.
👍👍🇮🇪🇮🇪👏👏🙏🙏
