Aston Martin's Vantage is a modern high performance icon of unmistakable character, styled to seduce and engineered to thrill. In its day, it was always the most affordable supercar the British brand made, but many will tell you that it's arguably also the very best Aston from its era. There's a choice of either V8 or V12 power under the bonnet but either way, the performance is as sensational as the looks, either in Coupe form, or as a Roadster convertible. This was the first Aston Martin to directly take on Porsche and Maserati and it remains an emotional but very tempting choice.

Nice review, for me the design seems almost ageless and it’s the one car that even after parking and walking away I tend to turn around and take another look with a smile on my face. I’ve owned a coupe for two years now and drive it almost every day it’s a car that you, in my humble opinion needs to be driven they don’t like sitting around much and I’ve found that for my car the more it’s driven the better it seems to be. Mine is a 2008 4.3 and I love it. I call it yo-yo as I’m always around the dealership having things tweaked or cleaned. It’s a truly emotional experience for me so much so that a couple of days ago I bought another vantage this time a later 4.7. I’m not interested in racing around in these cars but they are in my humble opinion something special
Beautiful car though I am biased. The coupe is the far better looking of the two body styles and for me the original design with the tucked under sills is more pleasing to the eye than the flared sills on the car in this video.
Ownership is marvelous and you never get tired of the swoops and curves.
I saw a V12 one of these at a gas station and after a chat the owner tossed me the keys. I was so excited the whole memory is just a blur. 😢
No keys, just a ECU
Very nice!
I thought Gordon Brittas was going to collide with that red BMW…
The roadster looks far inferior to the coupe- the lines are compromised by taking the roof off. Coupe all day, everyday. Roadster's are for poseurs, the coupe is for driver's.
Poseur? Yet all you've done is talk about the coupe's looks...
I went back and forth about getting the Roadster, now I'm glad I did, the sound of my V8VS with the top down is incredible
This car is in all versions better with the manuel ……
Real driver's always opt for a manual gearbox. Semi-auto paddle shift set ups are for people who commute from A to B.
you must be fun around people
@@GLAXxanyour comment doesn’t belong here 😆
The grille shape is awful. The DB9 got it right.
Agreed. The front end as a whole is not very inspiring. Pretty, maybe but not in keeping with the rest of the look.
