The cot shouldn't go underneath the aircon just incase if it falls on his head. I think it should go on by the wall on the left hand side if that makes sense and the wardrobe should go where the aircon is. That's what I think anyways love you guys x ❤
Remember he won't be in his room until probably about 6 months, hell be in their room.

i washed our second baby’s clothes around the stage you’re at and put it all away, never had any issues with dust or anything
she’s now 5 months old today
i got white plastic hangers from amazon as they did multipacks, easier to use then the wooden ones
Don’t forget a newborn hat and a 0-3 hat for when he arrives you have to put it on straight away when he is born ❤x
Yes 1 tog is a summer weight one, 2.5 tog is winter weather. And with swaddles and sleeping bags it depends on the size of baby really, get the right size with swaddles and then sleeping bags it’s aslong as their head won’t come through the hole if their head is too small then they are too small for the sleeping bag
It’s all so exciting getting everything organised, the buying, sorting and waiting for baby 🥰
My little boy was born end of November and I put him in a sleeping bag/sack 2.5 tog in 0-6 months. Asda do amazing ones!!!! You’re gonna be such an amazing mum to bubba!!🥰

We got a set that came with a wardrobe and matching changing table with draws from mamas and papas and we got the matching cot separately really good prices and it’s such amazing quality. The cot also transforms into a toddler bed as my son gets older x

I’d definitely say go for the ikea pax! It will grow with him! The wardrobes in the bundles are often tiny and will only do a year or so. The pax you can add to or change bits inside as he gets older too! We got our stuff for our girl in ikea, just got some drawers, wardrobe and the cod/bed! X
They can wear sleep bags from being born, obviously just make sure it’s not too big where it’s pulling up at their chin - as long as baby is always wearing 1 - 2 more layers than you their fine, if you’re not sure just place your hand on their chest or back to see how warm they are - my December baby at night was always in a long sleeve vest, sleep suit and sleep bag - always the sleep suits with the hand covers too

Baby boy will be here soon! 💙 I would get darker curtains just so it’s not as bright in there and put the bed on the wall right when you walk in. I would get more onesies! But, you guys seem to have it all figured out. He can sleep in those sleepers ( not for long period of times ) you just want to be careful. He will most likely be cuddling with you. 🫶🏻 Our friend is due any day so they are on baby watch! 38 weeks 6 days She’s having a boy as well!
I think the cot would look good against the wall next to the door as you walk in and then maybe put the changing table by the window
I agree with Brandon regarding newborn and first size sleep suits, I purchased all newborn and first size with my little girl as they said she was small not growing etc I had her she was 7pound12oz and was bursting out them, with my second I just got all 0-3 and she was out of them within 2-3 weeks, she’s currently 6 month old and is in 6-9 going into 9-12 month she was 7pound 13 born my second- good luck with the rest of your pregnancy 💙

My little boy never liked grow bags or swaddles so he just had blankets on a night with tog sleep-suits from next but my little girl is 7 months and still loves her swaddle I just change her swaddle tog to the weather changes and she has a thin blanket on top to xx
I agree his cot shouldn’t go under the air cone just in case something happend I think it should be on the left hand side better be safe then sorry x
Maybe changing unit goes in the middle with storage underneath then you can always get a walldrobe and draws then enough space for cot

My baby girl was born in January this year and we put her straight into sleep sacks 2.5 tog ones. If you research safe sleep it will bring up a guide with what togs you should put baby in for what temp. Enjoy the most magical journey 🩷

It’s advised to do the washing 6 weeks before a due date - I went on baby websites and read about washing. I’d recommend doing that xxx
For sleeping bag, double check the weight limit for them. When my daughter was born, she wasn’t allowed in a sleeping bag as she was a low birth weight so we had to weight until she had but on enough weight to be able to use them. If you do your antenatal classes you will be advised on them in those classes.
Amazon do amazing white hangers the baby ones aswell can get plastic or wood I got them recently the plastic white xx
I am loving the baby content, its making me sooo broody tho🥺🤍 i think you should have the cot on the left side of the wall opposite the door, with the changing table opposite, wardrobes where brandons unit used to be and the nursing chair next to the changing table (if that makes any sense🤣) I am so happy for you guys, i wish the best for this beautiful family you guys are creating🤍
Its nice to have a matching set but id say get the same colour and get a pax wardrobe i now have one in the bedroom my boys share and its so good for storage ur defo need it with all the clothes baby boy has. Then maybe get all the same colour furniture and then matching cot to changing table. Xx
Cot on the wall where Brandon’s desk was, avoid the window and if you want the air con on for baby if it’s warm it’s not right on top of him x

I would of said the same as you with where to put the cot but you made a very good point with the air con, I think that would definitely put me off. I agree with Brandon, he has enough newborn, they grow out of them so quickly. I bet your so excited! It’s getting closer and closer😁💙
Hey, you can get tog sleepsuits to go under the love to dream swaddles for the winter. We got 1.5 tog onesies from Sainsburys. Or if you have the heating on he should be okay
Youll need a 2.5 tog for winter. My nephew has always had a sleep sack and ill put mine (due February) straught in one also x
I had all 5lb odd babies so I had some tiny baby baby grows and vests maybe an idea to get it I got mainly them for hossy because they fit perfect when they first born especially if under 6lb. You never know just an idea Sainsbury’s and Asda do lovely tiny baby stuff but I only got a few packs of babygrows and vests as that’s all mines were in for first month. I’m so so excited for you guys!!! Xxx
They also say a rough size of baby but normally never accurate. Xx

iv had 4 babys,and for newborn i found they feel more secure in swaddle but every baby is diff, u will gt many answers, baby boy will let u know how he likes it, i would say u have more then enough clothing ,but miby socks , and few thin hats for first few days as babys lose alot of heat throu there head, your gonna be a awsome mommy keep up the great content

My little boy was born December 2021, and he never used a swaddle always used a sleepbag. He wasn’t a fan of the swaddles, and also wasn’t a fan of his next to me crib u til he got a little bigger. Think it was because he was so small and there was so much room we had to put his Moses basket inside the next to me and he slept like a dream xx
being the oldest cousin and the one who has more experience. you should always have extra muslins as they will have more comfort with some materials and they will be sick in a lot of them. hope this helps.
The best and cheap white wooden hangers u can get is dunelm or Asda , hope this helps ❤️❤️
When my 2 was babies they wore babygros for the first few months (only wore an outfit if we was going out etc) I made sure I had 5 of each a day (especially for the first couple of weeks) I do wish they did the zip up ones when mine was babies so much easier x
I would say not on the air conditioning wall . Purely just due to dust being blown out of it or it may affect his breathing . 😌
Cot on wall near door easy to peek in when he gets a bit older.
Tip for hospital buy ziplock bags and put full outfits in eg baby grow nappy socks hat kitten vest then if someone needs to help you all is in one place. Also I asked anybody that wanted to get me anything to get me size 6-9 or 9-12 month clothes because you get so much of the smaller size
I’d put the cot near the door rather than under the air con. You never know so for extra safety xx
Hi yes id get some more vests , think you have enough sleep suits and outfits like you said if anyone wants to buy clothes ge 3 to 6 months . Iwouldnt but the cot under the air con unit , personly i like the baby packs with cot that goes into a bed will las longer , chaning unit wardrobe and drawers , i watched someone going to ikia the other day and they didnt ha ve much choice but might have just been the one they went to . I agree with the newborn amount, I bought 30+ for my boy and he was 9lb 01oz and didn’t fit in newborn he went straight to 0-3 so when I fell pregnant second time I didn’t get much just incase and thought I’ll go out and get some if needed, my second was 6lb 13oz so needed to go out but would’ve saved the money if she didn’t like my first! You have plenty for sure! Also you may get gifted some bibs if have baby shower etc but would definitely say you need more bibs both mine was using them from 2-3 months + where they’re soooo dribbly. I wouldn’t be leggings my there self. I just brought sets it makes life so much easier then trying to find a outfit to put together you can just grab it. For bibs don’t by the triangle ones my sons now 7 months and not stop dribbling I chucked them all out cause they don’t hold nothing waste of money x
Hi Erin more things you need to buy are more vests and baby jackets and coats for 9 to 36 months sizes and more hats to keep baby head warm and things to get for baby boy is knitted blankets and cellar blankets and fluffy blankets and sleep bag for 6 to 36 months size and lots of baby towels and washclothes to clean and dry baby boy

I think if you wait until he is here and if you need more things then do a wee Asda shop George has so many nice wee sleepsuits and vets and you could gey anyone to pop out and get a pack of newborn things. I also will be doing this and I plan on trying to give breastfeeding so won't get any formula etc but again if I need I'll get hubby to run to Asda

0-3 my baby grew out in sleep suits by 6 weeks as his feet where too big and would be tight on his toes best to get some 3-6 too xx

When my little one was newborn he could go in it as soon as he was 8 pounds 8 which didn’t take long as he came out at 8.6 and I had a December baby last year I used 2.5 togs for when it was cold
hi Erin , your little man can be put in a sleep sack from birth he will absolutely love it just make sure that your only using it when its a bit cold out side in the warm weather it can make him over heat , i found it help my son get in a better sleep routine and my advice is to stock up on nappies and wipes now it will save one of you having to dash out for nappies when he's born . cant believe it just over two months till you have him its flown by . the baby muslins are great to use anytime even for wiping his mouth if he's sick during feeds too

My little girl was due Christmas Eve. She was born 3rd dec. I was told she was going to big big! 😂😂 she was tiny. And all her newborn Christmas outfits she didn’t wear until April 🤦♀️

This year is flying past so quick. I'm 30 now. I've been watching all my friends have kids etc...but I can't have kids - my body wouldn't cope with the stress so I'd leave a baby with no mum and I couldn't mentally do that. So seeing your journey brings me to tears every single time and I wonder how is it going so quick?! But at the same time I'm cheering from the sidelines. I agree about the AC unit... You know it's put in safe etc but they can randomly leak etc and I would never take the risk. Is there room to the left of it near the window? (I know that would look odd and you're a perfectionist) but then to utilise the space you have the only way would be under the window... Because all furniture would be bigger and have drawers and changing table along the wall you open. I would ask if there's a way of moving the AC unit because it would be nice to open the room and see baby boy straight away. But that might be a big job just before he's born. I always wonder whether it's actually worth getting children's furniture... They're going to need proper furniture anyway and you can use some of it too 😉 xx

I remember I got all newborn and 0-3 and my son came 6 weeks early and was 4 pound 😩 the only thing that would fit him was the premature clothes off the little store in the hospital not even tiny baby would fit

Honestly ur in a different country then most of us and me being a mom in the US we are NOT allowed to put our babies in any kind of bulky clothes in a carseat but out of them they can be in them as long as it dont obviously cover their face but then again our carseats are way different then the Carseats in the UK I know ur a new mom and looking for advise from anyone to get inputs and thats great we have lots of tips to give but take safety advice from ur doctor or sister/family but so far u are doing an AMAZING job preparing just don't go too crazy with baby stuff already cause honestly u won't use half of it. But can't wait to see the rest of ur journey and meet little bean ❤

I’m due in November and you have so many more clothes than me 😆 I think you’re set!!
Just some advice when you purchase your pram etc get a car seat that goes up to 12 years. Otherwise when baby boy is 2 year's you will be purchasing another one like I did. I'm a single mom and I wish I thought about this before.
I wouldn’t get any more swaddles as soon as they roll they shouldn’t use swaddles, you can also use sleep bags from birth I’d recommend the Snuz ones also if you look at groegg it gives you a rough indicator of what togs you might like to get as it says how you can layer baby up with a sleep bag!
Also with sleepsuits sometimes different brands are different sizes so you’ll find baby may fit into both newborn and 0-3 depending on the brand, both my little ones where 7lb-just below 8lb and fit in to newborn for a few months
One thing incase you haven’t thought about it is mattress protectors😂 definitely useful for yours and bubbas bed and lots of bed sheets
Also Sainsbury’s have some lovely tog sleepsuits

I would make sure you have lots of vests you can never go wrong and I wouldn't spend a fortune on them because they just stain anyway. When they fart it sounds funny but you think it's wind and when you check the 💩 is up their back to their neck! Multiple times a day it can happen. I've cut vests off my son when he was wee so be prepared for the poonami xx
Short sleeve vests too so less faffing around trying to get them off when they are saturated in 💩 and it ends up everywhere 😂 speak in g from experience and it's not glamorous xx
