Government logic 101: Any reporter questioning government actions is rude and shouldn't be talked to.
IMO - they are public servants, but somehow don't feel accountable to those they serve. Seems like a very common issue.

This mayor has to go.... the way of the Do-Do Bird. It is one thing to duck a question, and another to personally insult and besmirch the character of the reporter who is asking it. I wouldn't waste another minute of my time on him. I'd just do the investigative reporting on him, his office, and the unresolved problems without him. Then... an hour before broadcast, have the station manager tell the mayor's office what they are going to broadcast and if they had any response. There is no sense in being more fair than that with someone who wants to play the bully. JUST SAYING...

So he works for the tax payers but refuses to be open and honest with the people who are asking legitimate questions for those tax payers.
