A dirt road up to the house will break up the trees a bit. Might also try some different sizes there too. Can always sprinkle some yellow grass, brown grass and some dark green on them a bit to change the colors also on certain ones. I saw that trick a while ago on CZcams and I found it works really well. Woodland scenic fine leaf foliage works very well too for small trees.

I have to say THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO AMERICA.. I hope uncle Sam gives you a break for a while and doesn't up root you for a long time so you can get a chance to build your rail road.... Had a friend in the AIR FORCE Years ago who built a layout and stored it under his barracks bunk.... no one ever complained for as long as I knew him...had a couple of layouts years ago when I lived in a normal house but now I'm in a mobile home and no longer have the room for a real layout......Maybe some day again...keep having fun with the trains....
It's 630 that's custom. The 4501 you had must have been the Bachmann one. Just received mine a few days ago. I have the Broadway Limited 4501 and 630 too. They both run at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum in Chattanooga TN.

In the military they transfer you a lot, never spending much more time than three or four years anywhere, and sometimes less than that. Notice all of his tables are not bolted to a wall.

Truth about me is I'm more into N scale. But I'm starting to like HO scale. There both small scales. N scale is the smallest. It's also easier to travel with. I'm a member of a model train club in St. Marys GA. So they allow me to run my own HO and N scale trains on there layout.
