Yu Yu Hakusho is literally my favorite anime of all time , I even re watched it this summer for like the 5th time , i hope they make Togashi proud with the live action adaptation . One piece live action was a massive hit , it's fucking awesome , i hope the quality of Yu Yu Hakusho live action will be at least that .
Ngl? If the Yu Yu live action adaption is half as successful as live action OP? I think it will be a massive W for the brand, and would definitely do Togashi proud.
It really is such an underrated series, especially in the west. So? I hope the quality of the manga translates over perfectly with Netflix’s vision, and gives us something great for the new modern audience.
And I’m sure we’d all die for a HxH style remake of the OG anime. Which? This is probably the best chance we’ve ever had at getting Lol. So I’m definitely gonna try it at least. Here’s hoping it rocks.

Togashi has said he’d rather complete Hunter Hunter, since he’s afraid he’ll die before ever getting the chance to see his story complete.
But? I really do wish we could get one last wrap up conclusion for Yusuke’s adventure. A Final War arc? Timeskip? Sequel chapter? Something.

Imagine Togashi reduced it by replacing it with the Tournament and the original idea was totally different 💀

For sure you couldnt be more wrong. All the feats people list on Ichigo always end up being some one time use hax he never uses again. I cant really call that a feat if you "lose" in the process. Yusuke was destroying the environment simply throwing punches with another guy.

Yeah Ichigo takes this without too much trouble. By the TYBW, he should be Planetary in Base form - which is further supported by the Dangai shaking fight between Kenpachi and Azashiro, which he should scale to. Then you add 1000x amp... + Bankai... yeah he kinda tears Yusuke a new asshole lol. He also should be faster given these insane multipliers + him being light speed earlier.
Yusuke is no slouch tho, and against pre-TYBW Bleach, I think he'd be top tier. But just like his blond haired shonen ninja buddy, Ichigo's power shoots through the roof in the final arc of his series. Tho in terms of general power, Yu Yu Hakusho is still pretty potent. If series like Naruto and Bleach are S Tier, then it would be like A Tier. One Piece would be B Tier, MHA is C Tier, etc, etc, etc.
But as I said, I agree with just about anything here. Yusuke is really awesome, but he's just not quite enough to deal with -Cell- I mean Ichigo. Though I feel that these two would be great friends, kicking demon and hollow ass with their rad spirit weapons - and also being complete savages while doing so.

@Limbo9993 As always, pretty much on point man. Ichigo got to finish his story with an epic war arc conclusion, where as Yusuke got a rushed ending- with his final battle being an L. It’s unfortunately, pretty cut and dry.
I do agree though, Yusuke is absolutely no slouch. I’d go as far as to call him like? Diet S Tier.
Since? He’s honestly really close in strength to a SoSP Naruto or HoS Ichigo. The problem? Is that he has NO hax, to make up for that small stat disparity between them.
That said though? He’s still probably capable of throttling Luffy, and many another Shonen protag, with just raw AP.
It’s just very fortunate though? That if they actually met- they’d probably be friends, as you said!

If i were to make the argument if Yu Yu Hakusho had continued. An Yusuke had further learned about and mastered more of his Powers. Maybe get training from his fathers friends and fought stronger Demons, and god-like entities. Then maybe he really would have a bit of a shot against Ichigo. But its really depends considering Togashi ended his series.
I like to imagine if he had continued and his body wasn't getting sick due too stress and lots of stuff, maybe if Yu Yu Hakusho had an extra i don't know 10-12 volumes lets just say. I think Yusuke would have really become so strong, his practically the Emperor of Demon world by the end of the series. Probably, surpassing Raizen, Mukuro, and Yomi combine, Yusuke is in his own class At this point. A "God Class Demon" if you will, but this is just conjecture on my part.
As it stands he will get destroyed by Ichigo in his currents state, who knows how powerful Yusuke could have gotten if the series continued.
Yeah? I honestly don’t disagree with this at all. Even just looking at the Three Kings arc? Yusuke got SO much more powerful, in such a short time. Despite the fact that he was still so inexperienced, that he couldn’t call upon his demon ancestry at will.
IMO? It’s really likely that if Jump hadn’t rushed Togashi (as well as him having more time/health on his hands) Yusuke would’ve likely gained a complete Demon form- and quickly crept into Dragon Ball territories of power creep.
With Prime Raizen already being implied as way stronger than Yomi (2 or 3 million, perhaps?) and Yusuke sort of having beef with him? I think minimum- we’re talking 5-10x for a sequel Yusuke.
If not way higher? Depending on how it all continued. But regardless, yes. A continuation of Yusuke’s adventure just like TYBW? Would’ve made this matchup, much different- for sure!
@TUCKALMIGHTY kubo had the same types of issues while writing the TYBW , between mental and physical health issues, and being rushed by jump he also didn't get to put everything he wanted to put into the manga. Luckily kubo is working closely with the animation crew, and making the anime version of the war closer to what he wanted to do with the arc, especially squad zero actually getting to show how powerful they really are.

His true bankai is the hollow, fullbring powers and quincy all blend together in this form. No need for mask, blut vein or fullbringer. It'll be cool to know quincy techniques or come up with with his own
If this was pre TYBW Ichigo then it's somewhat close
Each of the realms are universal+ in size (Each mirror one another in size and the "World of the Living" is canonically our universe VIA characters reading Shonen Jump and reacting to events that happened in the real world; Backed up by the Dangai being stated to be infinite in size and the precapise world (Dangai) being infinite in size and its just a "Hallway" betwen worlds,, and CFYOW making the "Valley of Screams" Canon and its a pocket dimension that's infinite in size and still smaller than the Soul Society; And on top of that the Soul Society having its own unique set of stars and constellations).
Bleach also has MANY FTL feats, even going early into the series (Uriyu blitzing his own shadow which is .5x the SoL at minimum, Rangiku dodging the Negacion which is confirmed to be light, characters dodging Ceros throughout the series which are confirmed to be light although their AP/DC and speed gets magnified by ones spiritual pressure, Urahara dodging and blitzing a Bala, which is 20x faster than a Cero, and then appearing behind its user with his sword at his throat; Sternwritters dodging the Auschvelen Light, etc)
I love yusuke, but honestly fullbring bankai ichigo beats him. Ichigo before receiving a power-up and unlocking his true power scales above suppressed kenpachi, and at least relative to yamamoto via being able to damage base yhwach. This scaling is pretty consistent as well, as ichigo is implied to have at least 2x captain level rietsu, possibly more in his bankai state alone in FKT ARC, and while his power is being suppressed by OMZ. True shikai ichigo actually scales closer to the entire cosmology of bleach than he does planetary, as a single member of zero division can effect the heavens and earth of the 3 realms. Ichigo should scale above this as he was able to kill yhwach, who had absorbed the soul king, mimihage, and pretty much every sternritters power. Its definitely not a stretch to say that ichigo scales above the zero division who are stated multiple times to be stronger than the entire gotei 13.
Sorry this took so long to get to, but I wanted to look into the Post-FB scaling before I actually commented, to make sure I didn’t get it wrong.
So? Yeah, Ichigo above suppressed Kenpachi is fine. And-- he should indeed? Be relative to? Or vaguely in the same class, as Yamamoto (Shikai or Bankai- varying on form)
Pre-FB Ichigo was indeed implied to be twice as strong as a captain (though this was pre-timeskip, so keep it with a grain of salt) and? Post-FB his basic attacks are directly compared to his old Getsuga tensho- implying a 3x to 10x difference from his old form- if not greater.
True Shikai Ichigo also does scale above Squad Zero though, due to what you said pretty much. Making him either Planet+ (if you think the realms are just worlds) or Multi-Galaxy+ (if they’re universal constructs)
And as for Post-FB Ichigo vs Demon Yusuke? It’s a toss up for me. Yusuke scaling should be similar to Ichigo here, but if Ichigo whips out Blue Vein or Hollow powers- I think Ichigo could still clutch it up.
@TUCKALMIGHTY I agree that fullbring bankai vs mazoku yusuke is a pretty close match up, I do think that ichigo has the edge in a couple of areas such as speed, melee, and ranged combat, due to his zanpakuto being effective as both an offensive and defensive weapon. Yusuke does have an experience advantage, given that he has spent more time training than ichigo has had his powers, but ichigo is pretty used to fighting more experienced fighters. Yusuke obviously has ichigo beat when it comes to variety of attacks, but getsuga tensho is pretty versatile, being able to be used in a variety of ways. I do agree that blut is something that would swing the fight in ichigos' favor.
I think Yusuke at least makes it to Vasto Lorde ichigo. But after that he gets clapped.
End of series Yusuke is just starting to learn his real powers, so theres that.

Togashi had to end Yusuke’s journey on Shonen-Jump’s terms- where as Kubo (while still rushed) got to end the series, with a continuation- as well as a completed power set for Ichigo.

EoS Ichigo manages to learn/fuse all of his potential power- into one Ultimate form during his fight with Yhwach.
Yusuke never reaches a level of mastery, anywhere close to that.
So? It would be like saying that Yusuke barely unlocked his “Super Saiyan” equivalent- where as Ichigo barely unlocked his “Ultra Instinct” equivalent.
Like? Yeah, they both don’t have a ton of mastery. But? The percentage of maximum potential reached, is clearly WAY higher for Ichigo.

Thats not true at all. He didn't manage to "Learn on his own" how to use all of his powers combined. Yes he did manage to fuse them together but "Only" due to "Using" Yhwachs power. Ichigo literally stated this in the manga and states word for word that his powers dont work well togheter and that he can't do that by his own. Hes still learning.
And the rest of your comment about Yusuke and the comparison of their powersups i do agree with so i dont know what you meant with saying "this is not actually really true?"
Eos ichigo is as well, I think yusuke has spent more time training, than the amount of time that ichigo has had powers.

I don’t understand why they need live action remix for the shows for the new generation just show them the original. You can’t beat the Classics.
I would say in the planetary excuse, comes down to them being able to destroy planets which can be shaped in a different way. You could say that their energy has affects on the planet from just they’re fighting such as plants, decaying adverse effects on the environment or you know maybe animals dying you know things like that that could cause the world to actually die from within instead of just blowing up.
Glad to see you've found your way back to the channel! And yeah, I totally agree- although? In the specific case of Yu Yu Hakusho, it definitely needs an HD remaster of some sort.
Also? As for planets, this is up to debate. But I personally buy the Multi-continental angle for Sensui, since much weaker demons could threaten entire countries (implying that it's not just like, a minor national damage, but global effecting stuff)
Even if you don't buy it though, because Yusuke gets so much stronger after that point, I think it's sort of valid.

He didn't learn the hollow powers or bankai casually he had specific training and time to learn and master them. He did not learn quincy powers at all and isnt usable in combat
I mean, Ichigo literally killed the closest thing to the universe's God, while that God had future-altering abilities. So, it's pretty hard to argue end of series Ichigo loses to most MCs 😅😂

Nah I super have to disagree on this take. Yusuke was destroying the landscape with his punches while Ichigo had to use a weapon to do that. The only time I saw Ichigo destroying anything large was when he got those one time power ups that he could only use that one time meanwhile Yusuke was always him.

This is a little tricky to explain. But yes? You can definitely highball both characters far more than I did in this video.
Kuwabara’s dimension cutting sword, and dimensional transcending statements could 100% imply uni+ levels of power, if you really squint at them.
But? You could easily do the same for bleach, saying SS & Hueco Munro are universal constructs (which Squad Zero/base Ichigo could destroy) making Ichigo far above Uni+ if you high ball him.
I typically just read “world” destroying scaling as Planetary for the sake of consistency, but really 90% of the time someone uses the phrase “Sekai” in anime? It can mean The World, Universe, Or society even. So? It’s really up to interpretation.
I’ll definitely agree that Bleach scaling is not super well written though. So you can take the Uni+ scaling for it, with a grain of salt as well.

TBH? You can probably get away with that pretty easily (especially using HoS + True Bankai)

Generally speaking you pretty good with not over exaggerating the powers from different series.
No offense, but This sounds silly. First of all, The only real multiplier is Bankai; Ichigo cannot stack multipliers on all of his different powers. Second, Even Yuha himself wasn’t threatening to destroy the three worlds in a literal sense with his power, he was simply going to unbalance everything which would cause the verse to collapse in on itself. Third there is no indication anywhere in the series that any of the realms are bigger than earth itself. In conclusion you’re over estimating Ichigo, not to say that he would lose to Yusuke, but he definitely doesn’t have the power your indicating in this video.
burn the witch which is apart of SS tells us how big the eastern branch is which is just japan the same with the first 5 mins of tybw , also hellverse isn't canon idk why people use this to feat gauge, this is all kubo fault for not being so clear about things even now refusing to answer simple questions.
its not the size of japan its based on/in japan the ss is a entire different infinite dimension
The Bleach Hellverse film isn’t canon. But Kubo did play a roll in creating the film, and went on record to say he was glad to reanimate Ichigo Vs Ulquiorra now that they had more time.
So while the events aren’t canon, general scaling/power levels from the movie can be looked at-- just with a grain of salt.
Also? The only contention for dimensional scaling in bleach- would be the novels, and weird interpretations of the Dangai (as like? 5D.)
But yeah, Kubo doesn’t make things nearly as clear, neat, or specific- as an Oda- or a Togashi. He leaves it way more up to the fans to figure out what’s going on, a lot of the time. Don’t disagree there at all.

yeah kubo twice showed/told how big eastern branch of ss is which is where bleach takes place but when we get that crossover kubo saying that will happen between both of his series which will take forever to get to because they're milking the anime.

They did remove him for the credit, since he didn’t enjoy the plot of the movie (at least? As far as I know that’s why) But, he did still have input- particularly on some of the Vasto Lorde stuff & the design of hell- which makes it something to consider.
If you’re not a fan of that of scaling though? There’s plenty more Planetary Ichigo feats (from Kenpachi destroying the Dangai, To Squad Zero threatening Earth/SS/Hueco Mundo all at once, etc…) The Hell verse thing is more of just a side note really.

its not your scaling i have a issue with but how people scale bleach in general which i find terrible since kubo sucks at execution of certain things like sizes for example. I'm fine with a planetary ichigo but anything more sounds like wank for me and i got the original ichigo(Yusuke) beating him. also light in bleach doesn't operate like actual light same for lightning candice arrows are like lightning but reishi elements don't have the same everything as a real element.

Bleach just like YuYu Hakusho is more of an anime that's more relatable with the MC on Life, Growth, Purpose, Understanding who you are and what you want to do with your Life. Goku just wants to Fight strong people, Naruto wanted to become Hokage which he did but what after, just like its the same for Luffy. Luffy wants to be Pirate King but what happens after. Ichigo (despite being a noble) doesn't want to Rule over people, doesn't want to just fight strong people he's just a guy that wants peace and his loved one's to be safe. Then the story referenced a lot of stuff early subtly in a way you never expected and now is expanding on it. Sure it could have been touched up on certain characters but the same is easily said about DB, Naruto and One Pieces story.
