In this video, I wanted to go over the creation of inspiration when you are out of ideas. Utilizing other people's music to create your own music is a great way to beat writer's block and create content to feed off when working on your music. Starting blank is one of the most daunting task we face as producers, it's made even worse when we don't know know what we want to make. In these scenerios it's crucial to start working on a concept and the best way to do this is to utilize the work of others to get things going. The work of others can be Bass Loops, Synth Loops, MIDI, Reference tracks, and rhythm based tools.

Can you make a tutorial on how to sidechain compression with vocals with synths?
sting 64 -> midi to next device. on next device midi from the previous channel. auto generated acid bass then u just modify the swing and eq it so it’s only the low notes. you’ll get a crazy groovy baseline and it auto generates for u
I personally don't use this because the basslines created are too TECH for me and I want more melodic based and not 1/16th bass patterns always :) it's good though

Can you show how to make the Dirty Chicken Vol.2 Kit 'Babe' bassline? I tried recreating it with Sylenth1 Perfecto Saw Bass but the kit version has a thick low end transient. I tried layering it with different subs and basses but could never match it. Is it just one bass patch with hella processing or layered, etc?

The easiest way to create a bassline is to use the MIDI that Zen has in his packs. 🙂
