🤜🤛🤙🤙
@@GLifeUTV question did u cut the lower rear control arm bolts that are attached to the frame ass u did in a video in the past
Good work homie on the x3,, looks good..
Heck yea
Awesome build frank. All I have to say is since I run a lot of the similar products. I noticed In the rear the ZRP trailing brace has dented my trailing arm(no suspension upgrades). Also if you run rockers mud flappers you need to trim also otherwise your dented your trailing arm. BSD kit must have on these. Just recently flipped mine and now DPS is bad. My advice to these build, have your suspension done before you hammer on it!!
Treat it like a trophy truck then they need trophy truck prices in parts..loljk
Yet another really great build there, Frank! As for Dog Bones, I am trying the XMX Engineering Dogbones from Scott Freeman. They install behind the black plate and they secure into place using a small bolt and some blue threadlocker. By using a pair of wires to fish the bottom and middle ones into the factory holes, I didn't have any trouble with them. I like how they are hidden. Ok, I had one minor thing when it came to the radius rod mounting: One of the bolts didn't want to start with everything including the pull plate in place, so I had to put only a factory bolt in one dogbone momentarily, tap it with a hammer to change the angle on that one dog bone ever so slightly, and then I bolted up everything to the dogbone with no problem after that using the supplied XMX bolts.
I admit, I screwed up my left rear knuckle during my radius rod upgrade due to a terrible bolt misalignment issue that I caused resulting in a broken radius joint and a bent trailing arm mounting bracket. I fixed the trailing arm using a high grade bolt, some grease, and some nuts to spread it back open. It was only off by 1.3mm or so, not too bad. I tried to fix the knuckle / replace the radial mount bushing itself and f-ed that up too because I don't have a shop press. So, a new set of aftermarket knuckles later, I'm finally getting my rear end put back together. I have a couple small things left to install on the backend, then I'll do some small electrical stuff before I tackle the front-end. When I get to the front end I'll be doing pretty much everything you showed up there in the front as well.
The Assault Industries Pull Plate with Hitch arrived bent to hell-and-back. Assault is giving me a hassle because I bought it through a vendor that they sold it to. They even confirmed the date that they sold it to the vendor, but because I bought it from their vendor I'm having to go through some hassles with them. I should have gone with LMUTV for the radius rod plate. I originally wanted that flat mounting surface for a rear bumper mount, but f-em, I'll go with LMUTV instead. So far from LMUTV I've got the rear end bolts, the radius rods, and the sway bar links. I'll have the rear plate in a few weeks.
Thank you for sharing your work with us. It's cool to see the projects coming alive.
I appreciate your input. And you sound like me going into detail.haha Ur awesome brotha... I have seen those xmx dog bones very similar to the ct race worx. I had considered them.. good stuff🤙🤙
@@GLifeUTV you've helped me tremendously with your detail. I wanna be like you when I grow up.
Who am I kidding, I ain't growing up... Still, love your videos and the time you take to explain stuff on camera and even in the comments is top notch!
@@underourrock i appreciate the words brotha. Have a great weekend.🍻
Looks awesome nice work man!
🤙
Great job thanks for mentioning the chopped cage when they say a 6 footer will have 3 inches clearance and you put a helmet on and sit up straight not much room.
Yes its very important forsure
@@GLifeUTV Shock therapy states you need 6 inches minimum spacing so you don't break your neck
@@Rudemau5 makes sense.. thanks for sharing brotha
The colors really stand out really nice specially when in the dunes.
If you ever need an extra set of hands to help you out im willing to help, to get some experience as well on fixing utv.
🤜🤛 thanks brotha
🔥🔥
Great Video
Thanks bro
Nice clean work!
🤙🤙🤙
Looks amazing Frank! Good insights on the fitment. We do have a bracket, for a 10" light bar or pods, that would help resolve that issue. Let us know 🤙
Seen that. I posted it👌🤙
@@GLifeUTV Noooiiicccee. Thank you!
Also I forgot to say smart move with the rhino 2.0. I snapped driver side front axle within 2 weeks of owning. Not impressed with stock. Upgrade and have a good trip or 4 days having fun. Preventive measures people
Nice
Nice 👌
Thoughts on the HCR sport line control arms for the x3 ? Wondering if they’re the best bang for your buck
Personally. The best bang for your buck is the sport line.. you get the same correct geometry back by a company who stands behind there product.👌👌👌
Awesome work Frank, more thing to add to the wish list, lol
No kidding.. cant wait to do mine
@@GLifeUTV Hey Frank quick question why change so many parts on a brand new side-by-side just for the upgrade? Are stock parts that bad?
@@davewilliamson4548 No they are not.. personally on a new machine.. all it really needs is radius rods
. And gusset kit..maybe lower arms depending on ur riding style. 😅
@@GLifeUTV okay awesome, thanks for all the great video's, getting our first sxs soon (just retired) getting a ton of info from you, I appreciate you brother.
@@GLifeUTV did you have to have alignment done on it if so how did you do it? Thanks
👌
I found the Rhino 2.0 axles are alot stronger than OEM. But the coating on them is horrible, they will start flaking before long.
I have heard mixed things. The stock x3 axles are pretty good. Either way they look good hopefully they addressed the coating
@@GLifeUTV i have a set of rears on my x3, my buddy has them on his new pro XP. Both sets are now ugly unfortunately. I hope he has better luck as well, they are strong though. I will give them that. 👍
D rings
Yup for e track
Danm bro
🤙🤙
Do you remember if you had to get the modded ball joint nut for the ball joints?
Looks dope . I was like who is g life utv for a moment JAJAJA I’m used to seeing frank g life
Slowly changing over. Stickers being made
@@GLifeUTV let me know when they out so i can buy a few

By chance is he selling his stock axles? 🤔 asking for a friend 😏
Axles are gone. I have the test of the suspension tho 😅
x3 xrs rr 30k + about 15-20k add ons sheeesh
🤑
Damn this built is clean ! What was the $ spent on this built ?
Too much😅😅
Been riding around in my 2022 for a few days now and still have to break it in a bit more but what do you think should be some of the first things I should upgrade that’ll help the chassis? I know some of the things they did like the double sheared rear knuckle helps a lot now and cut some things off the list but I want a reliable strong machine
Hard to recommend some products as im not 100% if many of the 21 aftermarket pars fit the 22. First things to buy would be fire extinguisher, small first aid kit.. some lower doors, mirrors, door bags
Yo Frankie. My 2021 can-am 's front radius arms rub against the rims when making a full turn left AND right. Looking to get an upgrade to have it ready for glamis by Halloween weekend. What's good out there? I'm close by, stay in Perris...
Go 15 in rims for one... 5+2 offset u should be good
These are the stock wheels with upgraded 32 tensor tires. It shouldn't rub. But still want to upgrade front and rear arms...
Did u maybe accidentally install the rear wheels on the front.. some of the 20 and 21 have different width rims
All that $$$$$ and he's got rhino 2.0s? An why add limit straps if your running with a sway bar?
Limit straps get rid of the extension clunk heard from the front shocks. It becomes even louder with stiffer springs..
Didn’t can am address the toe link problem? I own a 2021 x3 rr and it looks like can am installed a metal sleeve insert so that the bolt rides on metal now not aluminum?
Ive done a few 21.. they havnt changed anything.
The new 22 has a dual shear hub now
do you know if the can am oem pre runner rear bumper will fit with the lmutv radius rods and lmutv pull plate
Not 100%
@@GLifeUTV thanks
How did you make the sway bar link fit on the hcr diner arms
They dont..hahah
Hey bro are those tires worth it ? I ride in johnson valley - apple valley - el mirage and silverwood lake some areas have pointy rocks how do your tires handle ? My big horns suck
They are very plush. But honestly think the bfg km3 are more reliable tires
@@GLifeUTV yeah alot of people recommended me those too im gonna end up going with those thanks 👍🏻
By any chance, do you guys save the parts removed? Aha I need a arms because I bent mine and just want to ride meantime the other ones come in.
sorry long gone
@@GLifeUTV Cool. Thank you bro, appreciate it.

Bro am gone need u to work on my can am max i know u got to be cheaper then some of these mf shops i been calling!!! And u talked me out of waiting for robby Gordon and just getting a can am so i can get out there. The only thing i was tripping on was all the fucking reinforced shit u have to do with them instead of just getting the robby were all those things are done on it. But then again justin from shock said 2500 to 3000 i can get all the basic shit done. Hcr,shock work, ect. So yea the shit is going to be a project but i got kids so i cant go to crazy with it!!!
