I didn't lose my wife in the way this song speaks of, but after 40 fantastic years of marriage and losing her to Alzheimers, this song still rips my heart out. There's so much I could have done better. 😢

I lost what I'm sure was the love of my life about 2 months ago. Not a day goes by that I don't miss waking up to her face, waking up to snoring 4-5 times a night. Truth be told I was selfish, and let my demons get in the way of our progression. It hurts, but I have to focus on me, and hope that I can be blessed with her presence again.

This song hits home everytime. After struggling for many years from addiction, my partner & I both suffered an ugly relapse, & our relationship became ugly due to that fact. There were many times when I thought giving up was the best option, after being betrayed in more ways than one, I decided to leave him, & I thought that I would be done with him forever. But thankfully we both got clean (it took him a lot longer than it did me), & we rekindled our flame, we're now engaged & have a beautiful daughter, & another baby on the way! Love definitely gave us another try.

It was a snowy day of january 16th in the year of 2014, when I met a beautiful woman by the name of kamari. I could not resist the urge to become a part of her life, I ran bath water, tried to cook, cleaned all day long, and satisfied her with all of my ability. I dont know why I choose her knowing that I had a demand hunting me which caught up and landed me in prison for three years, I made sure that she was ok by allowing her to remain in my household , and not even a week after being g gone she slept with someone in my house. It tore me apart! And while I served my time , I tried to hold on cause I found love. Letters stopped, calls stopped, money stopped, ect. And inside I knew she found another. I was not wanting to face the fact because I knew if I could just talk to her , she would be mine once again. That moment never came and I spent the loneliest remaining two years I ever in life had to spend. I contacted her once I got released and we were once again back together, I felt that I could let it all go and move on, but I couldn't cause that hurt turned to hate and I mistreated her badly. Weseparated, but stayed in touch. That was almost two years ago, and I'm still fighting to win her love. But it is worth the fight just knowing she did not walk out of sight. I love her, I truly do. And wish someday we can once again be in each others arms. Will you contact her, at.314 391 3703. And tell her I'm sorry, and I love her? Even if its through a text. I need a voice although we talk daily.

This song just punches you in the gut and rips at your heart...I was lucky enough to have my wife give me another try after being separated for a year early in our relationship. We had lived together 2 years when we were dating and she wanted to move to be closer to her family, but I was stubborn and a little scared of quitting my job to move 2 states away so we separated.. I helped her move to be with her family and then flew back home...I always knew she was the one, and the year we were separated just sucked...We kept in touch, and I finally decided to just man up and not let anything stand in the way of me being with her. So I called her up and told her I was willing to move and do whatever it takes for us to be together, and have a family with her... I mean I poured out my heart to her that day just praying she would take me back and give me another chance, and the rest is history.....I moved to be with her and never looked back and never regretted it, we have been together for 20 plus years now...

I worked a lot, didn't give the time, or attention she deserved and it's now cost me everything. AM I mad? Only at myself, she's a great woman, and I only hope she finds true happiness. One of my high school teachers passed away last month at the tender age of 30, leaving behind a wife and one year old son. Meeting him as a freshman in 2004, I noted immediately the similarity in the voice of he and Josh Turner. He was the first teacher I really bonded with, and it devastates me that he's gone. He had heart issues at 15, and was symptom-free until the night he passed. It was a 4 hour wait to see his casket at the service. Now when I hear Josh Turner, all I hear is him.

Had a friend Through middle school and high school . Among our group of friends that hung out all the time, by junior year it came down to just me and her. After my mom died of cancer, I became seclooted and ended up pushing Her away over time. By the time I realized I had feelings for her. It was too late. After everything went South I sit here at 21 years old.
