I lived in Taize for a year in 1969 when I was 4 years old. I remember Brother Roger as my joy on Christianity. Later, I was jealous of all the others who were coming to Taize, but even later, I realized that I was being selfish. The brothers changed from internal worship to external praise, and that must have been so difficult for many of the brothers. They have made the change, and so must I too. I love you all, and I miss you all.

you have a valid point but it's a yeah /but . i think brother Roger was pretty near the truth when he said "we're all seekers when it comes to the realities of god ,we go from one discovery to another our whole life " [that's pretty much my experience ].he's not claiming he's got the whole truth. [it's too big] .but we've got to start somewhere .and these guys are doing that. they're drawing near to god the best they know how and god will draw near to them .
@@jgappy5643Dear friend, the Bible requires us to judge with righteous judgment in John 7:24. Elsewhere Jesus also told us to judge in the same way we want to be judged. That’s with mercy. You yourself seems to be judging the comment in any case. The question is whether your judgment is righteous, biblically. That person has a valid point. I’m not totally sure about this Taize myself. I don’t know much about it but I do know for a fact, from Scripture, that, Jesus Himself specifically forbids repetitive prayers from those who are to be His disciples. He told His disciples in crystal clear terms, NOT to pray repetitive prayers - which is the essence of Taize. Since Jesus Himself forbade prayers that keep on repeating itself over and over and over and over again, and since He claims to be God in John’s Gospel, who am I to judge God? If you call yourself His disciple, follow Jesus Christ, stop praying the same exact prayer a dozen times at the same time consecutively. However, if you regard yourself only a disciple of brother Roger or the Pope, you can do whatever they both do, which you like. If I call myself a Christ-ian, I follow Christ especially when His instruction is so clear in that respect. That’s logical.
Catholic teachings are not true Christianity …… Faith over works!!!! It’s is done!!!! It’s a free gift, no such thing as purgatory, Mary is not ascended into heaven.. Only Jesus Saves! He is the ONLY Meditator!!!!! Mercy Mercy Mercy
