I have one of these for my fireplace and chimney business and it’s awesome! Make sure you use None Ethanol Gas! It works best this way and I use 10 Gauge extension cords!

I have the EU6500 which is basically the same machine. I use ethanol gas but ONLY with combined Stabil for storage to make sure the ethanol doesn't degrade over time. Also doesn't hurt to use a very little bit of water absorbing methanol annually to make sure no water builds up in the tank. I have used it this way for years and no problems, but otherwise, yes, don't use gas with ethanol in it unless you are prepared to take these extra steps.

Love the orange extension cord with the ground prong cut off. We're really going to give the GFCI a run for its money.

I used to use an Epson ET-2550 czcams.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 , an early model of the ink tank style. It worked well, but had one nuisance that drove me up the wall; if you didn't put it in high quality print mode you'd get a streak across the page. I'm happy to say I have yet to see this with this printer. The print quality has been fantastic so far, the set up was super easy. All in all I'm very happy with this printer.

I would have suggested that the 120/240V selector switch be set before starting the generator and creating power - especially because you did not say to turn off the 30A breaker first. The simplified instruction would just be to set the 120/240V switch before ever turning the keyswitch on to keep novice users out of trouble, because I imagine many users will never bother flipping the breaker on/off in practice.

I would love to see Honda do with this EU7000is what they did with the new EU3200i:) I can already see this same case size, but putting out 8000 to 10000 watts continuous.

I have an older model without the Bluetooth feature. Otherwise it’s identical. I use mine to power up my entire 2100 s.q.f.t. house during power outages. Not only does it provide clean 60 cycle power. It also has enough capacity to operate my Trane 2-1/2 ton central air conditioner in the summer time as well as two large refrigerators & an extra large freezer. Even my doorbell is hooked up to it.
I had an electrician wire mine up to my house so it’s code compliant. I had a fabricator build a stainless steel enclosure for mine on a concrete pad. A few switches & my wife is able to start it up without going outside. Then back feed with an interlock my entire circuit breaker panel. We were without power for three days last August from tropical storm Isais. We were able to stay nice & cool in the house & my wife was able to do laundry with it. We burned 22 gallons of gas for the entire outage. It’s super quiet too. Many of my neighbors didn’t even know we had a generator running the entire time.
    👍

You won’t be disappointed! Everytime I start it? It starts on the first pull. It comes right up to operating speed to deliver power within a few seconds of starting. Cold weather/hot weather it delivers consistently! It’s good for sensitive electronics & computers. I can easily see this lasting decades with the infrequent times I need to use mine. I consider it an insurance policy. If I need it? It’s right there to deliver.

Honda should consider releasing the control panel wiring diagram. All input interfaces and LCD should have a parallel interface . So that the LCD and All input Buttons can be placed in a remote enclosure for remote monitoring and can be controlled with autostart feature. New versions are coming with bluetooth but that range is not sufficient . Especially if your generator is in the basement and you live on the 3 floor, a remote operaton and remote lcd for monitoring the generator will be good thing to have. In this IoT era , everyone wants to automate their stuffs for remote sensing and remote control. Third party sellers are selling Autostart Kits why honda cannot provide the same function built in.

The Hyper Engineering Sure-Start dramatically lowers the peak locked rotor amps of an A/C outside condenser by more than half to make it much more supportable by the generator. It's a soft start, not a hard start that dumps even more amps into the compressor.

When I went to their website, it says it is an electronic software-driven soft starter. Not that this is a bad thing. Soft starts are great and help extend the life of your AC system.

⚠️Please don’t forget to follow the generator safety tips when you use your portable generator:
All generator safety rules need to be followed carefully whenever you use your portable generator. This is a reminder.
      1) KEEPING OTHERS SAFE: Please do not allow an unqualified person or your children to operate and service the portable generator. Just because some manuals don’t say that doesn’t mean it’s safe. That is important against the generator safety rules. We also need to be keeping an eye on our children too. You need to make sure that your children are not playing near the portable generator especially when it’s running so they won’t get electrocuted. Generators pose electrical risks and they can be hot during an operation. Please keep your children away from the portable generator at all times. It is important to keep our children safe especially our little ones. Be aware of all the hazards.
      2) WHERE TO RUN YOUR GENERATOR: Some people use their portable generators indoors which increases the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. It’s important to have a carbon monoxide if you have a gas generator. Never ever use your generator indoors even if your doors and windows are open and even in the garage is not safe to use a portable generator. Not even at your porch and your deck. It is never safe to use your generator indoors and in enclosed areas of your home. Your generator needs to be 15-20 feet away from your house.
3)🔥FIRE HAZARDS: Never refuel your generator while it’s running. You need to let your generator cool off before refueling it and before storing your generator. Never overload your generator too. Never ever back feed your generator. You should never plug your generator into a wall outlet. Also never store propane tanks indoors. Please keep flammable things away from the generator as well and please don’t smoke cigarettes near the generator. Having a fire extinguisher next to the generator is also important against the generator safety rules.
      4) GENERATOR OPERATION: make sure your hands are dry before touching the generator. Never use your generator in wet conditions. Don’t let your generator get wet. You need a generator tent if you need to use your generator during wet weather. Please don’t wear loose clothes when operating the generator. Turn on your generator before plugging in appliances. Use the right cord for your generator. Please do not use worn out cords.
