Generator Shed enclosure for Honda EU7000is
If you are in the Houston/surrounding areas and need help installing the generator hook up, call my good friend Zethan Parker. He is a master electrician and does phenomenal work.
It’s hard to find a trustworthy person to do the job correctly. I highly recommend zip electric.Tell em Joe sent ya and he will take care of you!

Also, I’d highly suggest getting an “inverter” type generator. Inverter generators produce cleaner power. This is best for sensitive electronics like tvs, computers, fridges etc…

nice installation
Five Stars Sir
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank ya! 😎
You're quite welcome Sir
Well done getting prepared. Agree that freeze was something we don’t want to experience without power again.
Totally man. It was horrible. Being a first time home owner sure does make you learn a lot about what you need real quick!
Awesome…👍🏿
good video
7:30 I did same thing after the freeze. Bought generator, soft start, 50amp hookup, lockout in the breaker box. Beryl at least redeemed me from looking "paranoid" about shtf fan preparation. 5 days no corporate power.
Awesome man. Glad you got prepared. It really is a good feeling when shtf and you are able to rely on yourself instead of waiting for someone to take action. I also bought a box of mountain house freeze dried food as well. Still a lot to get but one step at a time!
I have the same Suncast shed. Due to budget considerations I chose a Champion over the Honda.
Nice setup!!
Thank Brad! I had to use it this past week btw😅
@@JOSHIC I was asking questions while watching the video, I should have watched it all before I asked lol. A wise investment that generator
@@BradimusMaximus78 lol it happens man! I’ve had to use this thing countless times it’s crazy!
Very nice!
Thank you Jacob!
Great set up def gonna call your homie
Honestly I think we have to be careful of thieves as they know generator purchase is way up now in H-town. Thanks for the hookup for electrician work.
Love the return AC vent door - that is a great option. think outside the box if you can find parts cheap.
For sure, security is a must nowadays!
solid setup...going to look into this and may contact your friend
Thanks man! Really worth it. The home hookup makes it so much easier and beats running extension cords any day! Look into getting a soft start as well. Highly recommend it.
@@JOSHIC Yeah...been researching since Beryl got us for 3 days with no power. Appreciate the info you posted in this video and definitely working on being more prepared in the future.
@@mbdc826 Dang man sorry to hear that. The derecho storm had us without of power for the same. We are normally the last to have power restored in our area. Np man. Lmk if you have any questions or anything and I will do my best to help.
@@JOSHIC will do.. much appreciated!
Did the same after the
Freeze
I did everything that you did, even the chain around it and cement it in too but I you really should have made it out of wood because it would have been so much stronger and secured more. But that’s me
Nice! Yea wood would probably have been more ideal but I have had no problems yet with the suncast and it’s performing really well.
@@JOSHIC I understand what you mean but I was just saying for a more secured box with better hardware and nice locks on it. But that’s just me
Completely understand man and agreed!
You also said that you get 100 degrees temperature inside there and that’s fine but why don’t you but a bigger fan in it for more exhaust flow so you are shore that the expensive generator is breathing better ,, only because I use to run very big generators at my job and we would always make sure we would have plenty of air flow. I am only letting you know. No big deal
Would it be better to have a higher roof to manage the Heat?
Honestly as long as you have good ventilation that should work. More room the better.
If signal strength is an issue in your area, have you considered Star Link? Elon will make sure you're connected.
Man that never crossed my mind! I’m looking into it now, thanks!
On 30a you can run your home ac?
Yessirr, soft start brought the lra’s on ac down to 22a
@@JOSHIC nice
where did you buy the generator?
I bought it from northern tool
Nice!
