Artists do lip sync in concerts sometimes. The story with Milli Vanilli is different. They were doing a concert at Lake Compounce, here in Connecticut. The music started skipping and repeating, "girl you know. Girl you know." Lyrics from one of their songs. Then it came out that they were not the real singers, the whole time. It wasn't just at live concerts. They were literally never singing.

I've been to 7 different rap concerts including artists like ski mask, juice wrld, and Kevin gates. They all sang over their vocals, not necessarily lip syncing but when they needed a breath you could still hear the vocals on the original song. Only artist I remember not doing that the entire concert was logic. He still did it at times tho
Pop and rap concerts are THE WORST live music.

they do that in kpop too. most kpop groups/soloists have strict choreography while singing, so they have a pre-recorded version (or just original studio version) that only sings the parts that are too difficult to achieve while dancing. that way there’s no dead air/random pauses throughout the song and it prevents crappy singing.

EVERYONE who dances while they sing, is not really singing at a concert. They are straight lip-syncing and not even singing over back up vocals like this.
@@roems6396 that’s not true. sure a lot of the time they may be lipsyncing but a lot of the time they’re singing live over a prerecorded track or only singing certain parts of the song. it’s obvious sometimes that they’re singing live because you can hear the unstableness, shakiness, breathiness, etc. of their voice while performing and overlapping the studio version playing in the back. you can easily find ‘mr removed’ videos on youtube that isolate the live vocals from the performance. it’s literally right there.
Btw the "toking the ghost", "Jesus on the mainline" dude is for real. My dad is a pastor and had him come to my church when I was a kid and he really acted like that the whole time.

No Britney does sing her own songs just doesn’t write. Most artists don’t write and most artist sing over backtracks in concert now because of choreography. Dan is mistaken singing to a back track I think, Millie vinillie or whatever it’s called was two models who couldn’t sing, it was these two other guys recording the songs and the models would just preform it. It’s not common to do at all. They’re voices weren’t even on the backtrack. They could not sing.

They came up with that song, recorded it with studio singers and thought " this is gonna be a hit", but to sell it, they needed to cast a group because the producers were old and not-hip dudes. They cast fab and rob after auditioning a few people. Fab and rob were trying to make it as singers already, but when they got cast, the album was already written and recorded. The just had to be the faces. They hoped they would be able to sing on upcoming singles, but it was not to be. They got found out and humiliated and the career was over. Rob even committed suicide. It wasn't their fault. They got used and destroyed and thrown away. The German producers are still unknown and made a lot of money off the whole ruse. Pretty sad.

However, let’s be extremely technical about it. A christian is someone with christian beliefs. They said,”Christians are a bunch of entertainers...” Technically, based off of that definition, they think people who believe in christianity are entertaining. So they didn’t generalize the group based off of outliers, technically.

I don't think this says anything bad about Britney since she came back with Glory (2016) which is all her! It just shows how fucked up the situation is around her and the conservatorship, that they can find a way to make an album even without her input.

I interpret the bit as if they were watching a compilation of “dumbest beauty pageant contestants” or “fattest Americans” or “worst women drivers”. With apostle being at the top and all five at the same time. Look up Bethel church in Redding californa, IHOP in Oklahoma, and morning star in Virginia I believe. They are the biggest church's that follow this I believe. They usually host "traveling prophets" that go church to church "prophesying". The group I was in had a crazy leader who called himself a apostle and was starting to believe he was one of the only people to hear from God.
