Please don't do this again. It's already annoying enough when the regular ads interrupt the videos. At least put the sponsor between different games to avoid disrupting the flow.
I definitely agree. I always skip ads in the middle, but the ads at the beginning feel fine and I'm willing to watch them.

Definitely. There’s already so much going on to keep up with, having a major ad break in the middle really disrupts the flow of the video

Ajani simply could play this game because of Dranith. 1 card shutting down a whole player its definily a card to be consider to mvp.
The most valuable card should have gone to drannith magistrate 100% it would have been a completely different game if Ashani could have cast Talion. But drannith single-handedly removed a player from the game.

For those wondering and not seeing the line, Ashani was setup for turn 2 Talion but the Drannith got put down right before he could play his commander, thus it looked like he fed fish for nothing when in actuality he was giving him two cards for the trade off of getting his commander in quickly and most likely, in the long run, out gaining him in value.
Ashani does not consider opponents plays when making his own. If he did, and especially in dimir, he should have had a counterspell in hand ready for anything but as always, he's unprepared and underwhelms at the table.
@@charlesmaillho367 He had a counterspell in hand. He used it when Force of Vigor tried to destroy the mana he would need to cast his commander the turn later.
Ashanis opening hand was just a one way ticket to his draw engine commander. He lost everything after Drannith was played.
Yeah, that mid game add is not great. The placement may have been part of the sponsorship deal, but just not a great watching experience. Maybe for videos with two games, but right in the middle of a game is bleh.

Please don’t put an ad mid-game again. I actually watch them when applicable if they’re at the start. Great video as usual, otherwise!
I enjoy the content Playing with Power provides, but if I could provide feedback, I don't feel that a mid-GAME ad break works well. It breaks the flow of the game.
If there is to be a mid roll add, I think it would be best placed in a situation where the video does multiple games and have it there, in a "Before we move into the next game..." kind of segway
The ad felt a little invasive, like it came out of nowhere.
I was almost worried that Minsc was never going to activate for x =0, great showing from Drannith to make the early game feel like a casual standoff
Dranith magistrate was hands down the MVP. literally stopped the game

The game was good except for the mid-roll ad with no warning. It messed up the flow of the gameplay.
I kinda wish Matt didn't get the combo and just killed everyone with Serra Ascendant beats.

Honestly would love to see a game with shelai & Hallar cedh. The commander goes infinite with a kitchen sink and has access to great stax!

I was rooting for the beatdown win, but seeing an unconventional deck compete is fun regardless. I once won a cEDH game with a (non-cEDH) Boros keywords deck and I felt like a god.
played minsc @ silicon dynasty, love that deck so much!!! never seen sneak attack in the 99, super spicy! think matt shoulda just activated minsc and swing that turn. gg great content as always

Love your content and have so for a LONG time but the midroll baked add placement was a little cringe, please do it at the top or tail of the vid as it really interrupts the gameflow.

To test, whether a commander is EDH viable, the pot should be more meta, like blue farm, kinnan, kenny..
Talion was the only "meta deck". Dino was interesting but probably not the best idea for the pod.

It was honestly just turn order with the turn two Drannith more than anything. The fact it didn't get the most valuable card is laughable. The beats that came in afterward are probably mostly because Ashani didn't have a blocker.

It’s a 1/1 that gets +5/+5 so by changing its base P/T to 2/2 it became a 7/7

It's because they didn't want to turn on the Bloodchief Ascension. That card does nasty stuff when it comes online.
Plus, he might run Ad Naus, so that's less life to get to a combo (piece)

I dont know why Ashani would feed turn 1 into the fish, when he just had to play a chrome mox and lotus petal with no other follow up for a potential turn 2 commander. Feels kinda weird
I'm guessing because there's rule of law decks at the table but idk. I think I'd just cast them turn 2 if I had to.
playing against 3 stax decks its reason enough to try put your Remora at Home in play as soon as possible.
He kept the hand on turn 2 Talion against two dork decks that don't really feed it. He would be behind on that keep. The Force of Vigor is what I honestly questioned more.

What tf was sperling thinking? Helping Matt take out their other opponents all game when there is 0 chance this glorified casual pantlaza deck can beat a stax/pod list 1 on 1. Both want to stax the pod out, but one tries to win with damage or food chain and the other has actual good combos and rol

Some of these peeps complaining about the ad spot feel like gen z kids. Growing up in the 90s you got ads in the middle all day long. Had no complaints about it myself, but man Ashani got destroyed by that Drannath which from what everyone says is surprisingly not the mvp???
